1.Inauguration of President Kovind, World Hindi Secretariat at Mauritius 50th Independence Festival :-
India has offered a loan of $ 100 million for the purchase of defense equipment to increase Mauritius’s security capabilities. In the presence of President Ramnath Kovind and Prime Minister of Mauritius Praveen Jagannoth, four MOUs were signed in the capital Portlui. The President also attended the 50th Independence Festival of Mauritius. On the other hand, the President inaugurated the World Hindi Secretariat in Mauritius’s capital, Port Louis on Tuesday. The full financial assistance for the Secretariat has been given by India, in which about 33 crore rupees have been provided. On this occasion, Shri Ramnath Kovind said that Hindi has played an important role in the literature and mutual development of India and Mauritius. In the expansion of Hindi, Indians have played an important role in Mauritius.
2.Famous scientist Stephen Hawking passes away :-
Stephen Hawking, the world’s renowned scientist, has died. He was 76 years old.
The British Press Association handed over this information today on behalf of his family spokesman. Mr. Hawking was suffering from such a disease, which led to paralysis on many parts of his body. Despite this, he did not give up and continued a new discovery in the field of science. Mr. Hawking played an important role in understanding black holes and big bang theory. Mr Hawking had 12 honorary degrees and he was given the highest civilian honor in America.
Stephen Hawking, professor of mathematics and theoretical physics at the University of Cambridge, was among the largest physicists after Einstein.
Mr. Hawking was born on January 8, 1942 in England. Hawking, always on wheelchair, looked different from any ordinary person.
Writing the world famous great scientist and bestseller book ‘A Brief History of Time’, Mr. Hawking proved that bypassing physical incompetence, the person could do anything if there is will power. Mr. Hawking said about his discovery, “I am most glad that I played my role in understanding the universe, its secrets opened to the people and contributed to the research done on it. I am proud when the crowd of people wants to know my work. “
3.The Unique Identification Authority of India said that the mandatory requirement for opening new accounts in banks or for immediate passport application will continue :-
The Indian Unique Identification Authority has said that the mandatory requirement for opening new bank accounts or for immediate passport application will continue. Chief Executive Officer of the Authority, Ajay Bhushan Pandey, has said that the Supreme Court had extended the time limit for linking existing bank accounts and PAN cards with the base yesterday.

The Reserve Bank of India has closed the system of letters of undertaking and letters of comforts for business loans. In the circular of RBI, it was stated that the decision of issuing Letter of Undertaking and Letter of Comfort for business loan related to the import of India by the AD Category-I, has been decided immediately with effect. It will be agreed to issue letter of credit, provided they are in accordance with the provisions of guarantee and co-acceptances in the primary circular of the Banking Regulation Department issued on July 1, 2015.
6.NTPC’s third unit of Kudgi Power Station is operational :-
Third unit of 800 MW Kudgi Super Thermal Power Station of NTPC Limited, the country’s largest power producer company, started. With this, the total capacity of Kudgi Super Thermal Power Station increased to 2400 MW.
7.India is behind Pakistan and China in list of 8-happy countries, worsening worse than last year :-
