- केंद्र 2018 को ‘राष्ट्रीय बाजरा वर्ष‘ घोषित करेगा:-
- केंद्र सरकार ने 2018 को ‘राष्ट्रीय वर्ष बाजरा‘ घोषित करने का निर्णय लेने के साथ पोषक तत्वों से भरपूर बाजरे को बढ़ावा दिया है। यह फैसला कर्नाटक द्वारा अनुरोध के बाद लिया गया है, जो कि बाजरा क्षेत्र में देश में अग्रणी हैं।तीन दिन के अंतरराष्ट्रीय ऑर्गेनिक्स और बाजरा व्यापार मेले का उद्घाटन करते हुए, केंद्रीय सांख्यिकी और कार्यक्रम कार्यान्वयन मंत्री डी.वी. सदानंद गौड़ा ने कहा कि केंद्रीय कृषि मंत्रालय ने इस संबंध में औपचारिकताएं पूरी कर ली हैं।
Centre to declare 2018 as ‘national year of millets: – Nutrient-rich millets have got a boost with the Union government deciding to declare 2018 as the ‘national year of millets’. This decision has been taken following a request by Karnataka, which is the country’s leader in the millet sector. At the inauguration of the three-day international trade fair of organics and millets, Union Statistics and Programme Implementation Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda said the Union Agriculture Ministry had already completed the formalities in this regard.
- प्रधानमंत्री सुरक्षित मातृत्व अभियान (पीएमएसएमए) एक करोड़ के स्तर के पार :-
केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्री श्री जेपी नड्डा ने प्रधानमंत्री सुरक्षित मातृत्व अभियान (पीएमएसएमए) के जबरदस्त समर्थन के लिए प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी का दिल से आभार व्यक्त किया क्योंकि यह कार्यक्रम प्रसवपूर्ण जांच के संदर्भ में एक करोड़ के स्तर को पार कर चुका है। केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने कहा कि भारत के माननीय प्रधानमंत्री की परिकल्पना यह थी कि 9 महीने की गर्भावस्था के प्रतीक के तौर पर हर महीने की 9 तारीख गर्भवती महिलाओं को समर्पित होना चाहिए।उनके दृष्टिकोण को पूरा करने और देश भर में गर्भवती महिलाओं को व्यापक एवं गुणवत्तापूर्ण प्रसवपूर्व जांच सुनिश्चित करने के लिए पीएमएसएमए कार्यक्रम को 2016 में शुरू किया गया था।
Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA) Crosses One Crore Mark :- Shri J P Nadda, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for his un-daunting support to the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA), as the programme crossed one crore mark in antenatal check-ups.The Union Health Minister stated that Hon’ble Prime Minister of India had envisioned that 9th of every month, symbolizing the 9 months of pregnancy, should be dedicated to pregnant women. The PMSMA programme was launched in 2016 to fulfil his vision and ensure comprehensive and quality antenatal checkups to pregnant women across India.

- सीबीआई ने पीएनबी के अधिकारियों के खिलाफ 80 करोड़ रुपये का धोखाधड़ी का मामला दर्ज किया :-
सीबीआई ने पंजाब नेशनल बैंक के अधिकारियों के खिलाफ जालसाजी दस्तावेजों के आधार पर बैंक ऋण में धोखाधड़ी के मामले में22 मामले दर्ज कराए हैं, जिसके कारण बैंक को 80 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक नुकसान हुआ है। यह मामला मध्य प्रदेश के भोपाल और उज्जैन में बैंक की चार शाखाओं से संबंधित है।यह कहा गया है कि बैंक ने अपनी शिकायत में आरोप लगाया है कि अधिकारियों ने 2011 से 2016 तक कोयला कारोबार में काम करने वाले निजी व्यक्तियों को धोखाधड़ी से ऋण वितरित किया है।
CBI registers Rs. 80-cr bank fraud case against PNB officials: – The CBI has registered 22 cases against officials of Punjab National Bank relating to fraud in bank loans processed by them on the basis of forged documents causing a loss of over Rs. 80 crore to the bank. The cases relate to four branches of the bank in Bhopal and Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. It said the bank alleged in its complaint that the officials had fraudulently sanctioned and disbursed loans to private persons dealing in coal business from 2011 to 2016.

एक रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि 2018 में भारत सबसे तेज़ी से बढ़ती बड़ी अर्थव्यवस्था के रूप में चीन से आगे निकल जाएगा और देश का इक्विटी बाजार दुनिया का पांचवां सबसे बड़ा बन जाएगा। एक सेंक्टम वेल्थ मैनेजमेंट रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, जब बाकी दुनिया कम विकास और अपर्याप्त संरचनात्मक परिवर्तन से गुजर रेही है, इसके विपरीत, भारत को मजबूत दीर्घकालिक विकास की संभावना के साथ एक सुधारी अर्थव्यवस्था के रूप में देखा जाता है।ऐसे समय में जब विकसित अर्थव्यवस्थाएं 2-3 फीसदी वृद्धि दर्ज कर रही हैं, तो भारत 7.5 फीसदी वृद्धि पर केंद्रित है।
India to overtake China as fastest growing large economy in 2018: Report: – India will overtake China to be the fastest growing large economy in 2018 and the country’s equity market will become the fifth largest in the world, says a report. According to a Sanctum Wealth Management report, when the rest of the world offers low growth and insufficient structural change, India, by contrast, is seen as a reforming economy with the prospect of strong long-term growth. At a time when developed economies are cheering 2-3 per cent growth, India is focused on breaching 7.5 per cent, it said.
- ओपी रावत ने नये मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त नियुक्त :-
कानून मंत्रालय ने कहा है कि ओम प्रकाश रावत को अगले मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है। श्री रावत, जो वर्तमान में चुनाव आयुक्त हैं, अचल कुमार ज्योती की जगह लेंगे 22 जनवरी को सेवानिवृत्त हो रहे हैं।1980 बैच के पूर्व वित्त सचिव और भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा अधिकारी अशोक लवासा को तीन सदस्यीय चुनाव समिति में श्री रावत का रिक्त पद भरने के लिए चुनाव आयुक्त के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है।सुनील अरोड़ा वर्तमान में तीसरे चुनाव आयुक्त हैं।
OP Rawat appointed New Chief Election Commissioner :- Om Prakash Rawat has been appointed as the next Chief Election Commissioner, the law ministry said. Mr Rawat, who is currently an Election Commissioner, will succeed the outgoing Achal Kumar Joti, who is retiring on January 22. Ashok Lavasa, a former finance secretary and an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1980 batch, has been appointed as an Election Commissioner, to fill up the vacancy left behind by Mr Rawat in the three-member poll panel. Sunil Arora is currently the other Election Commissioner
