1.भारत और अफगानिस्तान के बीच पहले हवाई गलियारे का उद्घाटन :-
अफगानिस्तान के राष्ट्रपति अशरफ गनी ने काबुल अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाईअड्डे में एक समारोह के दौरान पहले अफगानिस्तान-भारत वायु गलियारे का उद्घाटन किया।
यह एक सीधा रास्ता है जो पाकिस्तान से बाईपास जाता है और वाणिज्य को बेहतर बनाने के लिए है। गनी ने कहा कि मार्ग का मकसद अधिक अवसर पैदा करना और अफगानिस्तान को एक निर्यातक देश बनाना है।
पहाडों से घिरा अफगानिस्तान एक भूमिबद्ध देश है और सभी आयात और निर्यात पड़ोसी देशों पर निर्भर हैं।
First air corridor between India and Afghanistan inaugurated :-
Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has inaugurated the first Afghanistan-India air corridor during a ceremony at the Kabul International Airport—a direct route that bypasses Pakistan and is meant to improve commerce.
Ghani said the aim of the route is to create more opportunities and make Afghanistan an exporting nation.
Mountain-riddled Afghanistan is a landlocked country and all imports and exports depend on neighbouring countries.
2.कृषि माइक्रोबायोलॉजिस्ट डॉ श्रीहरी चन्द्रघाटगी को जापान पुरस्कार :-
भारतीय कृषि माइक्रोबायोलॉजिस्ट व इकोसाइकल कार्पोरेशन की अध्यक्ष और सीईओ डॉ श्रीहरी चंद्रग्रहतगी को पर्यावरणीय समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए अत्याधुनिक प्रौद्योगिकियों के विकास के लिए जापान का पर्यावरण मंत्रालय पुरस्कार प्राप्त हुआ है। जापान में पर्यावरण क्षेत्र में इस पुरस्कार को जीतने वाली डॉ श्रीहरी पहली विदेशी हैं।
यह पुरस्कार पर्यावरण मंत्रालय, जापान और नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट फॉर एनवायरनमेंटल स्टडीज (एनआईआईएस), जापान और द निक्कन कागोयो शिनबुन (मीडिया समूह) द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से हर साल सम्मानित किया जाता है।
Agri. Microbiologist Dr Shrihari Chandraghatgi gets Japan Award :-
Indian Agricultural Microbiologist Dr Shrihari Chandraghatgi, President & CEO, EcoCycle Corporation, has been conferred with Ministry of Environment Award in Japan for developing cutting edge technologies to address environmental problems.
Dr Shrihari is the first foreigner to win this award in environmental sector in Japan.
This award is the highest honour given every year jointly by the Ministry of Environment, Japan, and National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES), Japan and The Nikkan Kogyo Shinbun (a media group).
3.चीन ने आभासी पटरियों पर चलने वाली दुनिया की पहली ट्रेन लॉंच की :-
चीन ने दुनिया की पहली ‘रेललेस’ ट्रेन का अनावरण किया है – एक ट्रेन जो आभासी पटरियों पर चलती है।
चीन एक बस का भी परीक्षण कर रहा है जो सड़क को फैला सकती हैं, और इसके तहत यातायात को पास कर सकती हैं।
नई ट्रेन “इंटेलिजेंट रेल एक्सप्रेस प्रणाली” विकसित करने के चीन के प्रयासों का हिस्सा है।
रेलवे पटरियों के बजाय, रेल रबर टायर पर चलती है। यह ट्रेन 70 किलोमीटर / प्रति घंटे की अधिकतम गति से आगे बढ़ सकती है।
China unveils world’s first train that runs on virtual tracks :-
China has unveiled the world’s first ‘railless’ train – a train that runs on virtual tracks.
China is also testing a bus that can straddle the road, and allow traffic to pass under it.
The new train is part of China’s attempts to develop “intelligent rail express system”. Instead of railway tracks, the train runs on rubber tyres.
The train can move at a maximum speed of 70 km/hour.
4.यूनिसेफ ने सीरियन शरणार्थी को सबसे कम उम्र की सद्भावना राजदूत नियुक्त किया :-
संयुक्त राष्ट्र की बच्चों की एजेंसी ने अपने सबसे कम उम्र के सद्भावना राजदूत की नियुक्ति की घोषणा की – 19-वर्षीय सीरियन शरणार्थी और शिक्षा कार्यकर्ता मुजून अल्मेलेहान।
यूनिसेफ के उप कार्यकारी निदेशक जस्टिन फोर्सथ ने कहा कि मुजून आधिकारिक शरणार्थी स्थिति के साथ पहली सद्भावना राजदूत हैं।
Unicef names 19-year-old Syrian refugee as youngest goodwill ambassador :-
The UN children’s agency announced the appointment of its youngest goodwill ambassador — 19-year-old Syrian refugee and education activist Muzoon Almellehan.
Unicef deputy executive director Justin Forsyth said that Muzoon is the first goodwill envoy with official refugee status.

भारत में प्रवासियों के लिए मुंबई सबसे महंगा शहर है और पेरिस, कैनबरा, सिएटल और वियना जैसे प्रमुख वैश्विक शहरों की तुलना में यह उच्च स्थान पर है।
मर्सर की 23 वीं वार्षिक लागत सर्वेक्षण के मुताबिक, मुंबई को सूची में 57 वें स्थान पर रखा गया है, जबकि नई दिल्ली को 99 वें स्थान पर रखा गया है।
चेन्नई (135), बंगलौर (166) और कोलकाता (184) अन्य भारतीय शहरों में शामिल हैं। अंगोला की राजधानी लुआंडा, माल और सुरक्षा की लागत से सबसे महंगा शहर है, जबकि दूसरे और तीसरे स्थान पर क्रमश: हांगकांग और टोक्यो है।
Mumbai continues to be most expensive city for expatriates in India :-
Mumbai is the most expensive city for expatriates in India and is ranked higher than major global cities such as Paris, Canberra, Seattle and Vienna, says a report.
According to Mercer’s 23rd annual Cost of Living Survey, Mumbai is placed 57th on the list while New Delhi was placed at 99. Chennai (135), Bangalore (166) and Kolkata (184) were the other Indian cities on the list.
Luanda, the capital of Angola, was the costliest city, driven by cost of goods and security, followed by Hong Kong and Tokyo at the second and third places, respectively.
- भारत ने आईसीजे जज के रूप में न्यायमूर्ति दलवीर भंडारी को फिर नामित किया :-
जस्टिस दलवीर भंडारी को भारत द्वारा संयुक्त राष्ट्र के प्रमुख न्यायिक अंग इंटरनेशनल कोर्ट ऑफ जस्टिस (आईसीजे) के न्यायाधीश के रूप में नौ साल के लिए उम्मीदवार के रूप में नामित किया गया है।
69 वर्षीय भंडारी, अप्रैल 2012 में महासभा और सुरक्षा परिषद दोनों के साथ-साथ अंतर्राष्ट्रीय न्यायालय की एक सीट पर मतदान के दौरान चुने गए, जिसे विश्व न्यायालय भी कहा जाता है और यह नीदरलैंड्स के हेग में स्थित है।
उनका वर्तमान कार्यकाल फरवरी 2018 तक है। आईसीजे चुनाव नवंबर में होंगे और अगर निर्वाचित होंगे तो वह नौ साल की अवधि के लिए होंगे।
India re-nominates Justice Dalveer Bhandari for another term as ICJ judge :-
Justice Dalveer Bhandari has been nominated by India as its candidate for another nine year term as judge of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the principal judicial organ of the UN.
Bhandari, 69, was elected in April 2012 during simultaneous balloting in both the General Assembly and the Security Council to a seat on the International Court of Justice, which is also known as the World Court and is based in The Hague in the Netherlands.
His current term runs through February 2018.
The ICJ elections will be held in November and if elected, he will serve a term of nine years.
