1.कोरिया में एआईआईबी वार्षिक बैठक में भाग लेंगे वित्त मंत्री :-
(I)वित्त मंत्री अरुण जेटली दक्षिण कोरिया में जून के मध्य में होने वाली चीन की अगुवाई वाली एशियाई बुनियादी ढांचा निवेश बैंक की वार्षिक बैठक में शामिल होंगे।
(II)वित्त मंत्री 14-15 जून को बोर्ड ऑफ गवर्नर्स की बैठक में शामिल होने के लिए तैयार हैं। इस साल की बैठक बैंक और कोरिया की सह-मेजबानी में की जा रही है और येजु आइलैंड में आयोजित की जाएगी।
(III)एआईआईबी का उद्देश्य प्रमुख बुनियादी ढांचा परियोजनाओं का समर्थन करके क्षेत्र के आर्थिक विकास को बढ़ावा देना है।
(IV)भारत एआईआईबी का दूसरा सबसे बड़ा शेयरधारक है, जिसमें चीन के बाद 7.5 फीसदी हिस्सेदारी है। चीन के पास 26.06 फीसदी वोटिंग शेयर हैं। रूस और जर्मनी की क्रमशः 5.93 फीसदी, 4.5 फीसदी हिस्सेदारी है।
2.भारतीय व्यापार सेवा अधिकारियों के ऑनलाइन अपार (एपीएआर) के लिए स्पैरो-आईटीएस सेवा शुरू :-
(I)भारत सरकार की नीति के अनुसार समूह-ए सेवाओं के लिए ऑनलाइन वार्षिक प्रदर्शन मूल्यांकन रिपोर्ट (एपीएआर) शुरू करने के क्रम में वाणिज्य सचिव श्रीमती रीता तेवतिया ने स्पैरो-आईटीएस (स्मार्ट प्रदर्शन मूल्यांकन रिपोर्ट दर्ज करने के लिए ऑनलाइन सेवा) सेवा की शुरुआत की, ताकि भारतीय व्यापार सेवा के अधिकारियों को वर्ष 2016-17 और आगामी वर्षों में एपीएआर को ऑनलाइन भरने में सक्षम बनाया जा सके।
(II)कार्यक्रम के दौरान विदेश व्यापार महानिदेशालय (डीजीएफटी) के श्री अजय भल्ला और डीजीएफटी के अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी मौजूद थे।
(III)संबंधित अधिकारियों द्वारा स्व-मूल्यांकन भरने के लिए एपीएआर को ऑनलाइन ही उत्पन्न और प्रेषित किया जाएगा।
(IV)इसके बाद अधिकारी डिजिटल हस्ताक्षर (डीएससी) अथवा ई-हस्क्षर के ज़रिए अपना स्व-मूल्यांकन ऑनलाइन जमा कर सकते हैं।
- भारत के पास 2018 से अपनी खुद की जीपीएस प्रणाली होगी :-
(I)भारत के पास अपनी जीपीएस प्रणाली होगी। ‘एनएवीआईसी’ 2018 के आरंभ में शुरू हो जाएगा।
(II)भारतीय क्षेत्रीय नेविगेशन सैटेलाइट सिस्टम (आईआरएनएसएस) ‘एनएवीआईसी’ नाम के साथ वर्तमान में इसकी सटीकता का परीक्षण किया जा रहा है और अगले साल के शुरू में सार्वजनिक उपयोग के लिए बाजार में उपलब्ध होने की संभावना है।
(III)आईआरएनएसएस -1 जी के प्रक्षेपण के बाद प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा दिए गए नाम, ‘एनएवीआईसी’ को देश में मौजूद उपयोगकर्ताओं को सटीक स्थिति की जानकारी प्रदान करने के लिए बनाया गया है।
- भारत की आर्थिक विकास दर इस वित्त वर्ष में 7.5% रहेगी: मूडीज :-
(I)मूडीज इनवेस्टर्स सर्विस के अनुसार, भारत की आर्थिक विकास दर चालू वित्त वर्ष में 7.5 प्रतिशत की रफ्तार से बढ़ेगी और सरकार की सुधार पहल से चार साल में 8 फीसदी जीडीपी वृद्धि दर हासिल करने में मदद मिलेगी।
(II)2016-17 वित्तीय वर्ष में भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था वृद्धि दर 7.1 प्रतिशत रही थी।
(III)विश्व बैंक ने हाल ही में अनुमान लगाया है कि चालू वित्त वर्ष में सुधार की गति और निवेश के बेहतर परिदृश्य के चलते भारत की विकास दर 7.2 प्रतिशत रहेगी।
- संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा ने स्लोवाकिया के मिरोस्लाव लैजकेक को अध्यक्ष चुना :-
(I)संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा ने स्लोवाकिया के विदेश मंत्री मिरोस्लाव लैजकेक को 193 सदस्यीय शक्तिशाली निकाय का अगला अध्यक्ष घोषित किया।
(II)54 वर्षीय लैजकेक संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा के 72 वें सत्र के अध्यक्ष के रूप में चुने गए हैं।
(III)लैजकैज फिजी के राजनयिक पीटर थॉमसन की जगह लेंगे।
- लेखक झुम्पा लाहिड़ी को 2017 पीईएन / मालामुद अवॉर्ड :-
(I)भारतीय अमेरिकी लेखक झुम्पा लाहिड़ी को लघु कथा में उत्कृष्टता के लिए 2017 पीईएन / मालामुद अवॉर्ड की विजेता घोषित किया गया है।
(II)शॉर्ट फिक्शन में उत्कृष्टता के लिए पीईएन / मालामुद अवार्ड बर्नार्ड मालमुद के परिवार द्वारा लघु कथा कला में उत्कृष्टता का सम्मान करने के लिए स्थापित किया गया था।
7.Historian Ramachandra Guha resigns as BCCI Administrator :-
(I)Historian Ramachandra Guha has tendered his resignation as BCCI administrator citing personal reasons.
(II)He submitted his resignation letter to Chairman of the Committee of Administrators of the BCCI Vinod Rai on May 28.
8.SEBI Approves Airtel and Telenor Merger :-
(I)Bharti Airtel has stated that it has got approvals from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) for the proposed scheme of merger with Telenor (India) Communications Private Ltd.
(II)Bharti Airtel now has filed the joint company application before the New Delhi Bench of the National Company Law Tribunal for approval.
9.Astana Summit: India and Pakistan to become Full members of SCO :-
(I)India and Pakistan’s admission to the China-backed Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) will be formalised at the SCO’s summit to be held in Astana, Kazakhstan.
(II)The Astana Summit will be held on 8-9 June.
(III)The summit will complete the admission procedures of these two countries.
(IV) The Shanghai Cooperation Organisaiton (SCO) granted full membership status to Pakistan and India during its Ufa summit held in Russia in 2015.
(V)India signed the Memorandum on accession in June 2016.
10.Telangana Launches T-Wallet :-
(I)Telangana has launched a digital wallet named T-Wallet for people to make public and private financial transactions.
(II)The service has been launched as “anytime anywhere digital payment option for everyone”. This is first such initiative by any state government in the country.
11.NASA’s Parker Solar Probe to Explore Sun’s Atmosphere :-
(I)NASA’s Parker Solar Probe will be launched in the summer of 2018 to explore the sun’s atmosphere.
(II)The purpose of the launch will be to study sun’s outer atmosphere and to understand how sun works.
(III)The name of the probe initially called the Solar Probe Plus has been renamed as the Parker Solar Probe in honor of astrophysicist Eugene Parker. This is the first time NASA has named a spacecraft after a living person.
12.India Loses its Fast Growing Economy Tag to China :-
(I)As per the data released by the Ministry of Statistics, India registered 7.1% growth in the financial year 2016-17, which is slower than the 8% registered in 2015-16.
(II)In the fourth quarter of 2016-17, India registered a growth of GDP growth of 6.1% compared with China’s 6.9% in the same period. Hence, it has lost its fastest-growing major economy tag in the fourth quarter of 2016-17.
