3.Chhattisgarh: High Court ban on Public Service Commission’s main examination, examination was to be held from October 18:- 
The High Court has stayed the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGCGPSC) main examination to be held from October 18 till further orders. During the hearing of the case on Thursday, the petitioners had objected to the date of the main examination. Therefore, keeping in mind their interest, the High Court issued this order. In CGPSC-2019 exam, around 80 contestants have filed 16 petitions separately in the High Court. The petitions stated that the model answer was issued by the Commission after the CGPSC preliminary examination. After watching this, the contestants started preparing for the main examination. Meanwhile, the Public Service Commission revised the old answer model and released the new answer model again.
4.’Rhino’ drones to do mapping of village land, Idea Forge company of IIT graduates created:- 
Idea Forge, one of the country’s top drone manufacturing companies, has now launched its new drone ‘Rhino’ (RYNO) after building drones for defense, homeland security and industrial use. This drone weighing two kg (survey grade) will be used for mapping Indian villages. Ankit Mehta, co-founder and CEO of ‘Idea Forge’ company wants to see India becoming self-reliant. Even they are committed to making drones for the whole world. The ‘Rhino’ UAV is their first specialized mapping drone, certified by the Survey of India (SOI) to map Indian villages. Ankit says that under the ownership scheme (the world’s largest drone mapping project), around 6,60,000 thousand villages of the country will be mapped by this drone.
5. Identification of 24 planets outside the solar system, more suitable for life than Earth:-

Now scientists have identified 24 such planets outside our solar system, which may be more suitable for life than Earth. According to the study published in the journal Astrobiology, these planets may be older, larger, slightly warmer and water-rich than the Earth. The presence of water in them suggests that these planets can be best for humans to live. Researchers at the Washington State University (WSU) in the US said, “These planets orbit their stars slower than the planets in the Solar System. So life here can be easier. ‘ He said that all these planets are 100 light years away from Earth.
6. 2020 Nobel Prize in Literature: American poet Louis Gluck received the Nobel Prize for Literature:- 
American poet Louis Gluck has been awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature for the year 2020. Louis is bestowed this honor for his unparalleled poetic voice. Mats Malm, the Permanent Secretary of the Swedish Academy, announced the awards in Stockholm, stating that his voice is beautiful as well as universalizes personal existence.
7.Johnny Bairstow missed a century, but made a new record in IPL with David Warner:-

In this match, he scored 97 runs off 55 balls with the help of 6 sixes and 7 fours and his strike rate was 176.36. He was out LBW off Ravi Bishnoi. In this match, Johnny Bairstow gave a very strong start to the team by sharing 160 runs for the first wicket with David Warner. Warner also scored 52 runs and was dismissed. This was the 50th time in IPL when Warner hit more than 50 runs and this is a big record in itself. This was the second time between Warner and Bairstow that the two had more than 150 partnerships.
