1.Ashok Gehlot sworn in as Chief Minister of Rajasthan:-

Senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot was sworn in as Chief Minister of Rajasthan. Our correspondent has said that Mr. Sachin Pilot also took the oath of office of the minister.

Governor Kalyan Singh administered the oath of office and secrecy to the two leaders in a function organized in front of the historic Albert Hall of Jaipur. After this, the Governor appointed Sachin Pilot as the Deputy Chief Minister of the state on the advice of Chief Minister Gehlot.

On this occasion , many senior leaders of Congress and its allies including former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh , HD Devegoda and Congress President Rahul Gandhi are present. Shri Gahlot has been the Union Minister three times and also the President of the State Congress Committee three times.

Senior Congress leader Kamal Nath will be sworn in as Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh shortly after. Governor Anandiben Patel will swear on them. According to party sources, Shri Kamal Nath alone will take oath. The rest of the Cabinet members will be sworn in after consultation with the leadership of the party. Congress President Rahul Gandhi and many senior leaders of various political parties will be present at the swearing-in ceremony. The Congress has made a comeback in the state after 15 years.

Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda , LJD leader Sharad Yadav , former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah , Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.K. Chandrababu Naidu , DMK leader M.K. Stalin and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader Hemant Soren will be attending the function. In Chhattisgarh, Congress Party’s state president Bhupesh Baghel will be administered the oath of office of Chief Minister in Raipur.

2.India and Maldives signed four agreements in different areas in New Delhi:-

India and Maldives have signed four agreements in different areas in New Delhi. These agreements were followed by the euphemistic level talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the President of Maldives Ibrahim Mohammed Swaleh.

Prime Minister Modi said that the delegation level talks were very meaningful and the two countries agreed to further strengthen mutual relations. They welcomed the new visa agreement between India and Maldives. He said that India , Maldives development , especially will fully cooperate in economic development. The Prime Minister said that the resolution of strengthening cooperation in the security sector was also expressed.

Earlier this morning the President of the Maldives was welcomed in the courtyard of the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also present on this occasion. Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj also met Mr. Swayeh. The President of Maldives arrived in New Delhi a three-day visit to India.

3.First flight test of Indian military aircraft with mixed bio-jet fuel:- 

Pilots and engineers flew pilot flights using the mixed bio-jet fuel for the first time in AN-32 military transport aircraft in the main test site of the IAF, AEST, Bangalore. This project is a joint effort of Indian Air Force, DRDO, Directorate General Aeronautical Quality Assurance (DGQA) and CSIR-Bhartiya Petroleum Institute.

Air Chief Marshal B.S. Dhanova announced on July 27, 2018 that Air Force will try to promote bio-jet fuel. Addressing a seminar organized on promoting indigenous technology, the Air Chief had said that the Indian Air Force intends to fly AN-32 aircraft with 10 percent bio-jet fuel in the flypest on Republic Day on January 26, 2019. is.

Indian Air Force conducted mass tests on the ground. After this, the plane was tested using 10 percent Mixed ATF. This fuel has been made from Jatropha oil obtained from Chhattisgarh Bio-Diesel Development Authority (CBDA), which has been processed in CSIR-IIP. Indian Air Force wants to fly AN-32 aircraft using Bio Jet Fuel in Flypast on Republic Day on January 26, 2019.

4.Cycling and hiking campaign for all three forces in Sikkim:- 

The Indian Armed Forces have a unique vision along with a sense of courage to do various adventure activities. To demonstrate the cordiality and strength of the Armed Forces, the adventures of the three armies are going on from December 17, 2018 to January 5, 2019. This campaign has started with three officers, three officers of warrant rank, one team of 13 soldiers from Army, Navy and Air Force. The campaign will run in three phases, including cycling and walking, para gliding and sea diving. Under the auspices of the Striking Lion Division, the first phase of the campaign will cover 200 km from Kalimpong to northern Sikkim under cycling and pedestrian expedition.

The operation was flagged off by General Officer Commanding of the Striking Lion Division, Gompa field of Darpan Monastery in Kalimpong. The Armed Forces team will cross the dangerous and challenging mountains of North Sikkim for the next five days, reaching Lachen and Luchong valleys at an altitude of 15,000 ft. In addition to cycling, this team will also travel by foot along the Teesta river along the mountain ranges. During the campaign, the group will  spread the message of ” Harit Sikkim, Clean Sikkim ”

5.Uttar Pradesh’s first smart toilets ready in Uttarakhand, go to its specialty:-

North India’s first smart public toiletle (ready toilets) is ready in Uttarkashi district. This smart toilet with its own cleaning system has been built near the Yamunotri Highway on behalf of the municipality council, Vadkot. Soon the Municipality Council will inaugurate it. From the masses to the system of cleanliness in the country has become aware. There has also been increased awareness about the construction of public toilets in the house with the construction of toilets in the house. In this episode, the municipality of Uttarkashi district has constructed a smart public toilets on the Yamunotri Highway. For this, SDM Barakot Anurag Arya, administrator of the municipality, contacted the Tata Nest Company, who has built a smart public toilet. After this, a team was sent by the Tata Nation Company to make the toilet from Kerala. This team has prepared two different toilets for men and women at the Yamunotri Highway in a span of 20 days. SDM Barakot Anurag Arya told that to use toilets, the payment of five rupees per passenger will be required. In addition to a box outside the toilet, a swap machine has also been installed. Direct money can be deposited in the box, while the swap machine will have to be paid through an ATM. After this, the toilet door will open. Due to manual locking from the inside, there is no fear of trapping any person in the toilet. Toilets have been designed in such a way that after using it there will also be automatic cleaning of the flush. This will keep the toilets clean. Such toilets have been constructed in many cities of South India, highways, malls, airports, railway stations, general hospitals and stadiums. Whereas, this is the first smart toilets of North India. In this construction, the cost of 17 lakh rupees has come.

6.Catherinea Gray’s head of Philippines, crowned Miss Universe crown:-

The 67th Miss Universe contest was held at Bangkok’s Muang Thong Thani, Thailand’s capital. Demi le Nell-Pieters, winner of South Africa’s Miss Miss Universe, crowned the new winner Philippine’s Caterina Gray in Miss Universe 2018 . Miss Philippines , Miss South Africa and Miss Venezuela in Top 3 Finalists .

7.The Sri Lankan President said that the re-appointment of Prime Minister Ranil Vikramasinghe is a respect for democracy:-

Sri Lankan President Maitripala Sirisena has said that Renil Vikramasinghe’s re-appointment as Prime Minister has been done to honor Sri Lanka’s democracy and parliamentary tradition. Although they are personally against doing so.

After accepting the oath of office of Prime Minister, Mr. Sirisena said that even if all 225 members of Parliament had requested him to make Mr. Vikramsinghe the Prime Minister, he would not have accepted it. This is their political perspective and they still persist on it.

President Sirisena said that after the legal advice he decided to dissolve parliament and dissolve it and he wants that after the election there will be a clean parliament.

8.Belgian won the World Cup hockey title for the first time:-

11.Nationalized banks can become MD in SBI:-

The government has allowed Executive Directors (ED) of nation-based banks to be elected as Managing Directors in the country’s largest bank, State Bank of India (SBI). Removing from tradition earlier this year, SBI Deputy Managing Directors (DMD) was appointed as MD in many nationalized banks. Now the government has allowed the ED of Nationelized Banks to make MD in SBI. Traditionally, the ED of nationized banks was promoted to MD, while DMD was made MD of SBI. SBI has four posts of MD, while the chairman is the head of the bank. Financial Services Secretary Rajiv Kumar said in a tweet that the ED of nation-based banks has been made eligible for selection of MD in SBI. Earlier, SBI’s DMD was given the ability to become MD in nationally-based banks. The government is trying to increase the base of top management talent and to share experiences of government banks. Public sector United Bank of India (UBI) is expected to be profitable in the fourth quarter of the current financial year. Bank Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ashok Kumar Pradhan has said that in the last few quarters the bank has faced constant losses. The bank has taken concrete steps to reduce the NPA, ie the debt trapped. At present, the NPA of the bank is around 14 per cent, which is likely to fall to nine per cent by the end of the year. The bank has prepared a solid strategy to increase business in the coming days. For this, the bank has focused on providing loans in retail, agriculture and medium and small scale industries.
