1.NASA detects Universe’s first molecule in space:-

Scientists have detected the most ancient type of molecule in our universe in space for the first time ever.Helium hydride ion (HeH+) was the first molecule that formed when falling temperatures in the young universe allowed recombination of the light elements produced in the Big Bang.At that time, ionised hydrogen and neutral helium atoms reacted to form HeH+.

2.India rebuilds Chieftel Kundling Math in Nepal:-

Shilpa Tenzin Rinpoche inaugurated the reconstructed monastery in Lissankhun village of Sindhpalchok district on Friday.

Dr Ajay Kumar , Deputy Mission Head of Indian Embassy was also present on this occasion.  Monastery has been rebuilt from the grant of Rs.1.88 million Nepalese rupees to the Government of India. The project also includes the construction of additional infrastructure such as residences ,   kitchens ,   sanitary facilities and mixed walls.The Choffeel Kundling Math was established in 1946 with the active support and contribution of the villagers of Lisankhu. It is carrying out various socio-cultural activities such as Buddhism , Thangka painting ,   wood carving and sculpture etc.Apart from being an important heritage building , this monastery is also an integral part of the social and cultural life of the people of the region.

3.The cheapest mobile internet in India, this is India’s digital revolution:-

Look around you A smart phone will be seen in the hands of every man on which he is delighted in his digital world while driving all the apps. This is India’s digital revolution. The cheapest mobile internet in the world is giving oxygen to this revolution. A recent study by UK.co.uk, a UK-based website that compares global prices, has revealed that mobile internet is the cheapest in India.

Internet expansion in India

According to market research agency Kantar IMRB, this year, the total number of internet users in the country can touch 62.70 crore. The rapid use of Internet in rural areas has given its growth rate in double digits. 97% of the total Internet users in the country make mobile Its growth rate in cities is seven percent, so in rural areas this pace has reached 35 percent.

Growing Density

Due to the availability of accessible internet services, cheap plans and digital awareness amongst the people, the gap between the urban and rural areas has started to deteriorate. In 2015, only nine of the hundred people in the country’s rural areas used the Internet, in 2018 this figure has reached 25. This cheap Internet has changed the traditional ways of buying, paying, entertaining people.

Heavy inequality in Europe

There is a big difference in the prices of data in the European continent countries. In Italy, the price of one GB data is $ 1.73, which costs $ 7 in Germany.

4.Book on Jallianwala Bagh poem ‘Khooni Vaisakhi’ released in UAE:-

A book containing English translation of the 100-year-old classic Punjabi poem about Jallianwala Bagh massacre, ‘Khooni Vaisakhi’ has been released in Abu Dhabi.India’s Ambassador to the UAE Navdeep Singh Suri commended the launch of the book, saying the ballad is now reaching a global audience.

The poem was translated by Mr Suri whose grandfather, revolutionary poet and novelist Nanak Singh, a Jallianwala Bagh survivor, wrote it after witnessing first-hand the events of April 13, 1919.On this ill-fated day, British troops fired upon crowds of protesters peacefully demonstrating against the Rowlatt Act of the British Raj, leading to the loss of well over a thousand lives.Speaking at a panel discussion on the poem following the launch of the book in Abu Dhabi, Mr Suri said that the release of the book has attracted exceptional media and public interest and that many have commented on the timeless quality of its message.The book was also released in New Delhi on April 13, marking 100 years since the Jallianwala Bagh massacre that took place in Amritsar.

 5.Mali’s PM Soumeylow Boubeye Maiga resigns:-

Mali’s Prime Minister Soumeylou Boubeye Maiga has resigned along with his whole government.He has resigned following a motion of no confidence over its failure to handle violence in the West African country.Legislators had discussed a possible motion of no confidence in the government because of last month’s massacre and failure to disarm militias.

6.Gangandeep Kang is the first Indian woman scientist to be elected Royal Society Fellow:-

Dr Gagandeep Kang made history by becoming India’s first woman to be made a Fellow of the prestigious Royal Society London.Kang is a leading scientist in India and her main research focus is on viral infections in children and the testing of rotavirus vaccines.Kang currently serves as the executive director of the Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), Faridabad.Fellowship of the Society is one of the most coveted honours in the scientific world and some of history’s greatest scientists like Isaac Newton (1672), Charles Darwin, Albert Einstein (1921), were associated with it.

 7.Chandigarh to host Asian Billiards, Snooker Championsh“`ips:-

Chandigarh will host the 18th Asian Billiards, the 20th Under-21 Asian Snooker Championship and the 3rd Ladies Asian Snooker Championship from April 27 to May 3.Internationally renowned players from around 15 Asian countries will be participating in this championship.The current World Billiards Champion, Pankaj Advani will spearhead the Indian challenge.The championship is being organized under the aegis of the Asian Confederation of Billiard Sports (ACBS) and Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI).

8.Government suspends trade from the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir:-

The Government has announced the suspension of business from the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir. The Home Ministry has issued an order in this regard. The Government has taken this decision after reports that some elements based in Pakistan were misusing the trade routes for smuggling illegal weapons , narcotics and fake currency.The aim of trade from the Line of Control is to simplify the transactions of common use items between the two local local populations in Jammu and Kashmir. In Baramullajile, trade is permitted through two trade facilities located at Chakan-Da-Bagh in Salamabad and Poonch districts near Uri.
