1.अमेरिका में न्यूयार्क की अदालत ने आईएस समर्थक को सुनायी 18 साल की सजा :-
अमेरिका में न्यूयार्क की एक अदालत ने आतंकवादी संगठन इस्लामिक स्टेट का समर्थन करने के लिए दोषी करार दिये गये एक व्यक्ति को 18 साल की सजा सुनायी है। संघीय अभियोजक के एक प्रवक्ता ने जॉन मारजुली के अनुसार जिला जज मारगो ब्रॉडी ने मुंथर उमर सालेह को 18 साल की सजा सुनायी है। सालेह पर इस्लामिक स्टेट का समर्थन करने का दोष साबित हुआ है। सालेह के वकील देबोरा कोलसन की ओर से इस मामले में तत्काल कोई प्रतिक्रिया नहीं आयी है। सालेह ने सुनवायी के दौरान स्वीकार किया था कि उसने 2015 में न्यू जर्सी निवासी नादिर सादा को यात्रा में मदद की थी। इस्लामिक स्टेट को सहायता पहुंचाने के मामले में नादा को पहले ही दोषी करार दिया जा चुका है।
New York court convicts sentenced to 18 years in US :-

2.बीएसएनएल और एमटीएनएल में शुरू होगी 4जी सेवा- मनोज सिन्हा :-
दूरसंचार मंत्री मनोज सिन्हा ने लोकसभा में प्रश्नकाल में कहा कि सरकार बीएसएनएल और एमटीएनएल में 4जी लाने जा रही है। बाजार में इंटरनेट डेटा की अधिकतर खपत 4जी डेटा की है और इसलिए बाजार में स्पर्धा में बने रहने के लिए सरकारी क्षेत्र की दूरसंचार सेवाओं में भी 4जी इंटरनेट सेवा शुरू करना है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस लिहाज से सरकार गंभीरता से विचार कर रही है। उन्होंने एमटीएनएल के विलय की खबरों को खारिज करते हुए कहा कि मुंबई और दिल्ली में चल रही इस सेवा में नई जान डालने के लिए सरकार प्रयासरत है। मंत्री ने यह भी बताया कि बीएसएनएल को भी मजबूत करने के लिए अनेक प्रयास चल रहे हैं। पूर्व में बीएसएनएल को नुकसान होने की बात स्वीकार करते हुए श्री सिन्हा ने बताया कि पिछले तीन साल से यह सेवा परिचालन लाभ में है और बीएसएनएल की आर्थिक स्थिति लगातार सुधर रही है।
BSNL and MTNL to launch 4G service – Manoj Sinha :-

3.यूआईएडीआई ने प्लास्टिक या लेमिनेटेड आधार कार्ड को बताया असुरक्षित :-
भारतीय विशिष्ट पहचान प्राधिकरण (यूआईडीएआई) ने आगाह किया है कि वह प्लास्टिक वाले या लेमिनेटेड आधार स्मार्ट कार्ड के चक्कर में नहीं पड़े, क्योंकि इनकी अनाधिकृत छपाई से क्यूआर कोड काम करना बंद कर सकता है या उनकी सहमति के बिना ही व्यक्तिगत जानकारी सार्वजनिक हो सकती है। प्राधिकरण का कहना है कि आधार पत्र या इसका कटा हुआ भाग, सामान्य कागज पर आधार का इंटरनेट से निकाला गया संस्करण या एम आधार पूरी तरह वैध है। प्राधिकरण का कहना है कि आधार स्मार्ट कार्ड की अनाधिकृत छपाई से उपयोक्ता को 50 से 300 रुपए की लागत आएगी जो कि अनावश्यक है। प्राधिकरण ने एक बयान में कहा है कि प्लास्टिक या पीवीसी आधार स्मार्ट कार्ड का आमतौर पर क्यूआर कोड के रूप में इस्तेमाल नहीं किया जा सकता, क्योंकि अनाधिकृत छपाई के दौरान यह कोड काम करना बंद कर देता है।
UIDAI told plastic or laminated Aadhaar card unsafe :-

4.ब्लाइंड क्रिकेट को मान्यता दे बीसीसीआई- सचिन तेंदुलकर :-
सचिन तेंदुलकर ने बीसीसीआई को एक पत्र लिखकर भारतीय ब्लाइंड क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन को मान्यता देने को कहा और साथ ही उन्हें बोर्ड की पेंशन स्कीम के अंदर लाने को भी कहा है। तेंदुलकर ने भारत ब्लाइंड विश्व कप जीतने के सप्ताह भर बाद प्रशासक कमेटी के चेयरमैन विनोद राय को पत्र लिखकर कहा कि उन्हें सीएबीआई को मान्यता देने के लिए विचार करना चाहिए। गौरतलब है कि 20 जनवरी को भारतीय टीम ने पाक्स्तिान को दो विकेट से हराकर लगातार चौथी बार ब्लाइंड वर्ल्ड कप (दो बार टी20 और दो बार 40 ओवर) जीता। तेंदुलकर ने कहा कि ब्लाइंड वर्ल्ड कप में हम लोग लगातार चौथी बार भारतीय टीम की जीत का जश्न मना रहे हैं, ये लोग दूसरे लोगों के लिए उदाहरण हैं और उनकी ये जीत लंबे समय तक हमें याद रहेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि ब्लाइंड क्रिकेट को मान्यता देना ही वास्तव में क्रिकेट के प्रति उनके जुनून की स्वीकृति होगी। अपने पत्र में मास्टर ब्लास्टर ने ये भी लिखा कि लंबे समय तक इनकी वित्तीय सुरक्षा के लिए इनको बीसीसीआई पेंशन स्कीम के तहत लाने पर विचार किया जाना चाहिए।

5.मंत्रिमंडल ने ‘’प्रधानमंत्री अनुसंधान अध्येता (पीएमआरएफ)’’ कार्यान्वयन को मंजूरी दी :-
केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने आज 2018-19 से 7 वर्ष की अविध के लिए 1650 करोड़ रूपये की कुल लागत की ‘’प्रधानमंत्री अनुसंधान अध्येीता (पीएमआरएफ)’’ योजना को स्वीकृति दे दी है।
प्रधानमंत्री ने राष्ट्रध की प्रगति और विकास के लिए अभिनव प्रयोग तथा प्रौदयोगिकी के महत्वो पर बल दिया है। यह फेलोशिप योजना प्रधानमंत्री के नवाचार के माध्य म से विकास के सपने को पूरा करने की दिशा में महत्वापूर्ण है। इस योजना की घोषणा बजट भाषण 2018-19 में की गई थी।
इस योजना के अंतर्गत आईआईएससी/ आईआईटी /एनआईटी / आईआईएसईआर/ आईआईआईटी से विज्ञान एंव प्रौदयोगिकी विषयों में बी.टेक.अथवा समेकित एम.टेक. अथवा एमएससी पास करने वाले अथवा अंतिम वर्ष के सर्वोत्तीम छात्रों को आईआईटी/ आईआईएससी में पीएचडी कार्यक्रम में सीधा प्रवेश दिया जाएगा।
The Cabinet approved the implementation of “Prime Minister Research Fellowship (PMRF)” :-
The Union Cabinet has approved the ‘Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship (PMRF)’ scheme of total cost of Rs 1650 crore for the period 2018-19 to 7 years.
The Prime Minister has emphasized on the importance of innovative experiments and technology for the progress and development of the nation. This fellowship plan is important in fulfilling the dream of development through the innovation of the Prime Minister. This scheme was announced in budget speech 2018-19.
Under this scheme, B.Tech in science and technology subjects from IISc / IIT / NIT / IISER / IIIT and integrated M.Tech. Or the passing of the MSc or the best students of the last year will be given direct admission in the PhD program in IIT / IISc.
6.ग्रासरूट इन्फॉर्मैटिक्स (जमीनी स्तर पर सूचना विज्ञान) पर राष्ट्रीय बैठक :-
राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा, आर्थिक समृद्धि, नवाचार और सामाजिक कल्याण सूचना एवं संचार प्रौद्योगिकी (आईसीटी) की उपलब्धता, प्रामाणिकता और गोपनीयता पर काफी हद तक निर्भर हैं। नागरिकों का दैनिक जीवन सूचना क्रांति से काफी बदल गया है और आधुनिक जीवन साइबर स्पेस के सामयिक, उचित और गोपनीय व्यवहार पर निर्भर करता है। अंतिम डीआईओ बैठक (विविध 2017) में, माननीय मंत्री ने एनआईसी द्वारा भारत के लिए तकनीकी तंत्र बनाने पर सराहना की जो कि डिजिटल इंडिया का नेतृत्व कर सकता है और जिसकी प्रधानमंत्री ने भी परिकल्पना की थी; उन्होंने डीआईओ से जमीनी स्तर परिवर्तनकारी दृष्टिकोण अपनाकर उन्नत और सक्रिय होकर परिवर्तन लाने का आग्रह किया।

7.भारतीय राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरण (एनएचएआई) ने दिल्ली-मुंबई राजमार्ग पर टोलिंग “जितना आप इस्तेमाल करें उतना ही भुगतान करें” के कार्यान्वयन के लिए पायलट परियोजना की शुरूआत की गई :-
भारत में टोल के लिए “जितना आप इस्तेमाल करें उतना ही भुगतान करें” से संबंधित बजट में की घोषणा के कार्यान्वयन के लिए मार्ग प्रशस्त करते हुए, भारत में राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरण (एनएचएआई) ने प्रणाली की कार्यान्वयन क्षमता का अध्ययन करने के लिए एक पायलट परियोजना का कार्यान्वयन कर रहा है।इस पायलट परियोजना के अंतर्गत दिल्ली-मुम्बई राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर लगभग 500 वाणिज्यिक वाहनों के लिए जीपीएस / जीएसएम तकनीक पर चल रहे उपग्रह आधारित इलेक्ट्रॉनिक टोल संग्रह प्रणाली को लागू करना शामिल है। यह परियोजना एक वर्ष तक चलेगी।
मोबाइल दूरसंचार प्रौद्योगिकी (जीएसएम) और उपग्रह आधारित ग्लोबल पोजिशनिंग सिस्टम के संयोजन पर कार्य करने वाली यह परियोजना, प्रस्तावित टोलिंग सिस्टम के अंतर्गत पैसा वाहन के खाते से ही कट जायेगा, और एक दिन के अंदर रियायत राशि फिर उसी खाते में जमा हो जाएगी तथा फिर टोल गेट को खोल सकता है। यदि लेनदेन असफल हो जाता है तो यह टोल ऑपरेटर को मैन्युअल रूप से भुगतान एकत्र करने के लिए सचेत कर सकता है और फिर गेट को नहीं खोला जा सकता है।
