1 Center approves development of Kota-Bundi Green Field Airport, 1507 crores will be spent

The Central Government   will develop  Kota-Bundi Green Field Airport  in   Rajasthan  at a cost of Rs 1507 crore . The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Tuesday approved the proposal of  the Airports Authority of India (AAI)   for  development of the airport at Kota-Bundi . The project includes construction of a terminal building spread over  an area of ​​20 thousand square meters  . The terminal building will be capable of handling 1000 passengers per annum (PHP) during peak hours  . Its  annual capacity will be  20 lakh passengers per annum (MPPA)  . The size of runway 11/29  will be 3200 meters by 45 meters.  There will also be an apron with 07 parking bays for A-321 type aircraft  . Two link taxiways, ATC-cum-technical block, fire station, car park and related works are included in the project.  The existing Kota airport  is owned by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) . It  consists of a runway (08/26) of 1220 m x 38 m dimension , suitable for code ‘B’ aircraft (such as Do-228) and an apron that can accommodate two such aircraft. It is noteworthy that Kota, located on the banks of the Chambal River, is known as the industrial capital of Rajasthan. Apart from this, Kota is also famous as an educational coaching center of India. The Rajasthan government has transferred 440.06 hectares of land to AAI for the development of a greenfield airport suitable for operating A-321 type aircraft.

3 ICMR created ‘Cerebo’ device, it will detect fatal brain injury and bleeding in just two minutes

 

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has developed  portable handheld device ‘CEREBO’  , which  can  detect severe brain injury and internal bleeding in the head in just two minutes . Experts say that this technology can greatly reduce deaths and serious complications in emergency situations  . This state-of-the-art device resembles a hair dryer in size and has   been developed in collaboration with  ICMR Medical Device and Diagnostics Mission Secretariat, AIIMS BhopalNIMHANS and Bioscan Research . This device is much smaller and cheaper than MRI and CT scan machines  . While MRI and CT scan machines cost crores of rupees, the price of CEREBO is around Rs 15 lakh. The CEREBO machine is based on near-infrared spectroscopy technology and has a learning algorithm that detects bleeding and swelling in the brain (brain bleed) in just two minutes.

4 Delhi Government’s big step: Now complaints can be registered from home through ‘Delhi Mitra’ app

The Delhi Cabinet has approved the launch of   ‘ Delhi Mitra ‘ mobile app. Through this app , the people of Delhi will be able to convey their complaints directly to the government . Now the citizens will not have to visit the concerned departments, rather problems and complaints related to all the departments can be registered sitting at home. The interesting thing is that this app was suggested by the citizens of Delhi themselves. In a letter sent to Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, people had demanded to make such an app through which they can easily convey their problems to the government.

7 Coal India signed an agreement with Konkan Railway Corporation Limited

Public sector  Coal India Limited (CIL)  signed  a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with  Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL)  in Kolkata. This non-binding agreement between the two companies has been made to develop rail infrastructure projects. The company said that a strategic partnership has been made with Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) for the development and maintenance of rail infrastructure projects  for Coal India and its subsidiaries. This agreement is an important step towards  improving coal transportation  for Coal India and its subsidiaries . CIL, which contributes more than 80 percent of domestic coal production, is actively strengthening its rail infrastructure to improve coal transportation. Coal mining company CIL had earlier also signed an agreement with Indian Port Rail and Ropeway Corporation Limited.

8 OpenAI launched ‘ChatGPT Go’ for Indian users, service will be available at a fee of Rs 399 per month

 

US tech giant OpenAI  on Tuesday  announced the launch of  a new subscription plan , ‘ ChatGPT Go ‘, for  Indian users  . A company release said that ‘ChatGPT Go’ is available at a rate of Rs 399 per month including GST  , which can be paid through UPI. This new plan aims to make advanced AI tools more accessible and affordable for users in India. All the features of ‘ChatGPT Go’ are powered by GPT-5, where  users can use Indian languages . ‘ChatGPT Go’ offers ten times more message limit  with  GPT-5 than the free plan   . The release said that it offers ten times more image generation per day. Users can upload 10 times more files and images per day. Apart from this, it also has twice the memory for personalized responses. According to the company, India is the second largest market for ChatGPT and one of the fastest growing markets. GPT-5 is available to all users, with Plus subscribers getting access to extended use and Pro subscribers getting access to GPT-5 Pro.

BCCI  has  announced  the Indian cricket team   for  Asia Cup 2025. Chief selector Ajit Agarkar  selected  a 15-member team  . This time  the command of the team will be in the hands of Suryakumar Yadav  , while young batsman  Shubman Gill  has been made the vice-captain. At the same time,  opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal has been dropped from the team  . Chief selector Ajit Agarkar has expressed confidence in Gill as the third opener and he has also been given the responsibility of vice-captain.  Wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson  retained his place in the team, while Jitesh Sharma  has been included as the second wicketkeeper  .

 

10 Sumit Malik of India won silver medal in 57 kg weight category in Under-20 Wrestling Championship in Bulgaria

In Bulgaria  , in the wrestling championship for players under 20 years of age,  Sumit Malik  has  won silver  . He  defeated  Mogamed Azamiro of Russia   in  the 57 kg weight category .  In  the women’s category of the competition, Srishti  has reached the final of the 68 kg weight category .  In the 57 kg weight category, Tapasya  has also entered the final by defeating Sowaka Uchida of Japan.

11 Asian Shooting Championship: India’s Girish Gupta won gold medal in 10m air pistol

 India’s  Girish Gupta  has won the gold medal in the 10 meter air pistol event at the 16th Asian Shooting Championship  in  Shymkent  ,  Kazakhstan . Girish scored 241.3 points in the final. India’s  Dev Pratap won the silver medal with 238.6 points  . India won two gold and three silver medals on the first day.  Kapil Bainsala won the gold medal in the junior men’s air pistolKapil also  won silver medals in the senior and junior men’s team competition. Earlier, Kapil gave India its first gold medal in the 10 meter air pistol event. India’s Jonathan Gavin Antony won the bronze medal. The team of Kapil, Jonathan and Vijay Tomar won the silver medal. In the senior men’s category, the team of Anmol Jain, Aditya Malra and Saurabh Chaudhary won the silver medal. The final matches of the women’s air pistol event will be held today on the second day of the championship.

12 India’s Rashmika Sehgal won gold medal in Asian Shooting Championship in Kazakhstan

India’s Rashmika Sehgal  won  gold   on the second day of   the 16th Asian Shooting Championship in Kazakhstan  . This   is India’s third gold in the individual event in this competition. Korea’s Han Seungyun  won the silver of the competition. Earlier,  Manu Bhaker  won   another international medal by finishing  third  in the final of  the women’s 10 meter air pistol event . Rashmika,  along with  Vanshika Chaudhary and Mohini Singh , won  gold for her team  . Manu Bhaker won bronze in the team event  along with  Palak and Suruchi Phogat  . India has  so far  won five gold, two silver and four bronze in the competition.
