1.Charbagh railway station will become world-class in two years:-

The exercise of making Charbagh railway station world-class finally started. This project of about Rs.1900 crores will be completed in four phases in 24 months. The work of the first phase will be Rs. 493 crores. Under which will be a new station building towards Anand Nagar towards Loko Workshop. Before the start of the work, the National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC) will conduct a survey of Charbagh station. On Friday, met the station director Sudip Singh. Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) had completed the tender process of the first phase on 28th August. NBCC has also handed over its final design to the manufacturing company. A new station building will be built on Loco. The old building will be broken. The new building for reservation center, ticket counter and waiting area in the building will be ready within a month and a half. Before starting the work, the 3D mapping will be done here. It will be decided soon about how many blocks will be taken in order to make up the bowl on all seven and two proposed platforms. At Charbagh station, the number of trains is the lowest in the morning from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. NBCC will provide facilities for food plaza with a waiting hall, eight counters, two rooms, parking on the locos.

It will be a special thing

At the height of eight meters from the platform, Lucknow Metro will be connected from Charbagh station to Lucknow Junction and Charbagh railway station. At Lucknow junction, where 100 square meters of 100 acres of concrete area will be made. There will be 180 meter wide and 100 meter long Concourse at Charbagh station. Passengers can reach converts from platforms via lift and escalator.

• Second entrance to Anand Nagar will be opened at the new station in the building, the traveler’s cabin, waiting hall, booking counter and food plaza will be opened. In the second phase, the bridge will be built for the arrival of buses. There will be a two-storey station building.
• There will also be a separate route for buses and auto at Charbagh station. Bus-in will be made at Charbagh station. Where the city buses will reach directly.
• A parking lot with capacity of 100 cars will be made underground, while another parking space with similar capacities. Under the leave and drop zone, there will be a separate line for vehicles.
• From the reservation center to the Charbagh station, the route will be underground.

2.Sukhoi-30MK I Jet aircraft handed over to IAF after repairs:-

Eleven base repair depot-BRD in Maharashtra’s Nashik district handed over the first Sukhoi -30MK I Jet aircraft to Indian Air Force after repairs In the ceremony held at Air Force Station, Ozar, it was handed over to the Operation Squadron of the IAF. Defense spokesman said that this aircraft developed from the Sukhoi company of Russia was built under the license of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited.  Eleventh Base Repair Depot is the only depot of the Air Force, where major fighters such as MiG-29 and Sukhoi-30MK are repaired.

3.Tagore cultural Samarsata Award for the year 2014 for Prince Singhjit Singh, the prominent Manipuri dance:-

Prince Singhjit Singh, the prominent Manipuri dance star has been selected for the Tagore Cultural Samrasata Award for the year 2014. He has got a special place in the form of a great teacher, artist and skilled dancer. He has presented his distinctive creativity in the field of traditional Manipuri style dance. His dance arts elevated Thang-ta, Nut-Sankirtan, Lai-Harauba and Lushila styles. He made important contributions in keeping the tradition of Manipuri dance alive and encouraging harmony. They also pay tribute to Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore from his dance. It is noteworthy that Shri Rabindranath Tagore was very much impressed with Manipuri dance and he also included Manipuri dance in the Vishva Bharati educational curriculum.

For the year 2015 and 2016 Tagore Cultural Samrasata Award is being given to Bangladesh’s cultural organization Chhaynat and the great sculptor of India, Mr. Ram Bhanji Sutar, respectively.

The jurisdiction has taken this decision under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Chief Justice of India Shri Justice Ranjan Gogoi, Shri N. Gopalaswami and Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe are included. During the detailed discussion on 24th October, 2018, the Jury Board decided with a vote that the Tagore Awards for the year 2014, 2015 and 2016 were awarded to Mr. Rajkumar Singhjit Singh, Chhaynat and Mr. Ram Vanji Sutar respectively.

This annual award was started by the Indian government during the 150th birth anniversary of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore.

Pandit Ravi Shankar, India’s great sitarist and second prize in the first Tagore award 2012, was given to Mr. Jubin Mehta in 2013. In the prize, excellent gifts made of a million rupees, citation, plaque and traditional handcrafted / handloom are provided. This award is open to every person other than nationality, race, language, caste, faith or gender.

4.US Army successfully tested missile developed with Japan:-

The US Army tested the new interceptor system and successfully demolished the medium-range ballistic missile. This new system is developed by the US with Japan. Under the interceptor system, there are missiles which prevent and destroy the enemy missile before reaching its goal. Missile Defense Agency (MDA) said in a statement that soldiers aboard the ‘USS John Fin’ successfully traced the target, followed it and destroyed rocket stains from SM-3 block 11A missiles. This test was done on the west coast of Hawaii. Earlier, in June 2017 and January 2018, two tests of destruction of the missile were unsuccessful. Lt Gen Sam Greaves, MD, MDA said, “It was a great achievement and it is a very important milestone to return safe for SM-3 block 11.”

5.National level 22th meeting between India and Myanmar; Both countries agree to increase cooperation on border security insurgency:-

The 22nd national-level meeting between India and Myanmar was held on 25th and 26th October , 2018 . The Indian delegation was led by Home Secretary, Shri Rajiv Gaba and the delegation of Myanmar led by the Home Minister, Major General Ang-Thu.

At the meeting both the countries agreed to take action against active militant groups in their respective territories. Both countries agree to provide security cooperation on the international border and to provide assistance in the movement of people and trade.

Both countries agreed to cooperate with the prevention of smuggling of wildlife and drug trafficking. India and Myanmar agreed to strengthen the cooperation on international border management, including building auxiliary pillars for better border crossing.

The Delegation of Myanmar also met the Union Home Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh.

Cricket Australia (CA) has appointed explosive batsman Aaron Finch as its captain for the one-day series against South Africa in November. Finch has been given the captaincy of ODI captain instead of Tim Paine.
