For this, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Denmark for Intellectual Property (IP) cooperation. The Green Strategic Partnership focuses on expanding cooperation on green development, economic ties and global challenges such as climate change.

IROAF’s Directorate of Solar Energy Rolling Stock or Alternative Fuel Electricity will be transferred to the Railway Board, while the existing tenders will be handled by Northern Railway. IROAF has launched the first bio-diesel engine to find an alternative to diesel according to its capacity. Used with CNG-fueled engines etc. It was also working on solar-powered trains in line with the government’s plans to reduce carbon emissions by adopting renewable energy by 2022.

9.India-Japan 6th Maritime Affairs Dialogue was held

India and Japan also conducted a bilateral maritime exercise named JIMEX, which stands for Japan-India Maritime Exercise. It is held annually.

In the first phase, seven ropeways of the state Kedarnath Ropeway, Nainital Ropeway, Hemkund Sahib Ropeway, Panchkoti to New Tehri, Auli to Gaursu, by the National Highway Logistics Management Limited (NHLML) under the control of the Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways. The process of DPR formation and construction of seven ropeways from Munsiyari to Khalia Top and Rishikesh to Neelkanth Mahadev will be done in collaboration with the state government. With the construction of these ropeways, people will also be able to easily reach places with many kilometers of pedestrian routes like Kedarnath and Hemkund Sahib. Its direct benefit will be given to women, elderly and disabled people.

This will bring significant efficiencies to banking and fintech institutions at various levels in terms of operations and customer management.
