State Bank of India will operate the Indian Visa Application Center in Bangladesh for two more years . SBI in Dhaka And the officials of the Indian High Commission signed an agreement to this effect. Indian High Commissioner Vikram Duraiswami expressed satisfaction over the functioning of visa application centers in Bangladesh. Presently SBI operates 15 centers in Bangladesh. On an average, more than five and a half thousand visa applications are processed on a daily basis. In the year 2019, the High Commission of India issued more than 1.6 million visas to Bangladesh.
