1.Jagdeep Dhankhar takes oath as the Vice President of India

He resigned from the post of Governor on 17 July after the National Democratic Alliance-NDA declared him the Vice Presidential candidate.

State Bank of India will operate the Indian Visa Application Center in Bangladesh for two more years . SBI in Dhaka And the officials of the Indian High Commission signed an agreement to this effect. Indian High Commissioner Vikram Duraiswami expressed satisfaction over the functioning of visa application centers in Bangladesh. Presently SBI operates 15 centers in Bangladesh. It has been told in media reports that 35 people have been infected in Shandong and Henan provinces of China. Symptoms such as fever, fatigue and cough have been found in many infected. The study has found that the new infection has spread from animals to humans. Researchers have said that there is no need to panic with the Langya virus.

6.Union Cabinet approves continuation of Pradhan Mantri Shahari Awas Yojana till 31st December, 2024
The Union Cabinet has given its approval to continue the Housing for All Mission under the Pradhan Mantri Shahari Awas Yojana till December 31, 2024 . The Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) has published field guides on 1,331 species of birds found in the country . A joint meeting of the North-East Organizing Committee, Meghalaya’s Sports and Youth Department and the North-East Olympic Association was held in which the list of sports events was finalised. The first edition of these games was held in Manipur in the year 2018 in which twelve sports events were organized. Meghalaya is celebrating its 50th year of establishment this year . In these games, about four thousand participants from eight states of the Northeast will participate in 18 competitions at 13 places.
