  1. Kisan Sarathi Digital Platform launched to provide accurate and timely information to farmers in their own language
  • The government has launched a digital platform named Kisan Sarathi to facilitate farmers to get the right information at the right time in their own language . On the occasion of 93rd Foundation Day of Indian Council of Agricultural Research-ICAR, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav jointly launched Kisan Sarathi Manch. Farmers can take personal direct advice from the scientists of Krishi Vigyan Kendra on agriculture and allied sectors through digital platform.
  1. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda launched the School Innovation Ambassador Training Program
  • Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda launched the School Innovation Ambassador Training Program . Its objective is to train 50,000 school teachers in innovation, entrepreneurship , design design , product development and innovative thinking. This training program has been designed by the Innovation Section of the Ministry of Education and Teachers Training Institute – AICTE. The training will be given through online mode only.
  1. Collaboration between Delhi Government and Google for real-time monitoring
  • Delhi government has to stay on your smartphone bus arrivals and departures on real time basis on the time and route track “to develop a system to enable to Google’ has collaborated with. Through this collaboration, real time monitoring of 3,000 buses can be done. This will help commuters to track buses through Google Maps. Through Google Maps, users will also know how long their journey is going to take. Following this current partnership with Google Maps, Delhi has joined the list of global cities that provide real-time public transport information so that people can travel without delay. This collaboration will help several other transit apps to develop innovative solutions to make Delhi’s public transport system an accessible option for all, using the Department of Transport’s open data portal.

  • Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated several major railway projects in Gujarat through video conference and dedicated many other projects to the nation. During the program, he Gandhinagar railway station, a new make-up of five-star hotels , Gujarat Science City in Aquatics and robotics Gallery and Nature Park inaugurated. He also flagged off two new trains – Gandhinagar Capital Varanasi Superfast Express and MEMU service train between Gandhinagar Capital and Waretha .
  1. MoU signed between Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (ITRA) and Government of Gujarat
  • Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Shri Nitin Patel and AYUSH Ministry Secretary physician Rajesh July 15 appearance Kotecha, 2021 under AYUSH Ministry Jamnagar based Research Institute of Teaching and in Ayurveda ( Aitiara ) and a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Gujarat Signed. Through this MoU, all the institutions running in the Ayurveda campus in Jamnagar have been brought under ITRA. It may be mentioned that ITRA is the only institution under the Ministry of AYUSH, which has the status of Institute of National Importance. Mentioning the importance of the MoU, Shri Nitin Bhai said that this MoU will open the way for strengthening the education system of all branches of Ayurveda.
  1. Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology enabled map services in “UMang App”; MoU signed with Map My India
  • The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology ( MeitY ) has taken several initiatives in recent times to make the lives of citizens easier by facilitating online delivery of government services. In order to further enhance the initiative of Digital India program , keeping in mind the theme of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat ‘, MeitY has entered into an MoU with Map My India on “ UMANG App ”.As a result of integration with UMANG’s Map My India maps, citizens will be able to access government facilities, such as mandis, blood banks and much more, at the nearest location near them at the click of a button. They will also be able to see it on India’s most detailed and interactive road and village level maps created by Map My India Citizens for locations including traffic and road safety alerts during navigation through connectivity between UMANG App and Map My India Will be able to receive driving distance, directions and turn by voice and visual guidance.
  1. National Commission for Women signed an MoU with Bureau of Police Research and Development
  • National Commission for Women ( NCW ) police personnel in the country gender equality to make sensitive the Bureau of Police Research and Development ( Beepiaranddi has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with). The program was inaugurated by the Chairperson of National Commission for Women (NCW) Ms. Rekha Sharma , Director General, Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) Mr. VSK. Kaumudi, ADG Shri Neeraj Sinha and DIG (Training) Vandan Saxena at the Headquarters of BPR&D located at Mahipalpur, Delhi. The MoU was signed between the two organizations in the presence of the members and officials of the National Commission for Women. The objective of the program is to ensure the sensitivity of police personnel towards gender equality in the context of laws and policies relating to women and to bring about a change in the attitude and behavior of police officers while dealing with crimes against women.
  1. 8 new air routes launched from Madhya Pradesh to improve regional air connectivity between Maharashtra and Gujarat
  • Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiradiya the MP from Maharashtra and Gujarat today from air exposure and taking steps to strengthen virtual through eight new routes launched. Mr Scindia congratulated the people of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat on the commencement of the new flight operations. The commissioning of these routes is fulfilling the objectives of the Ministry of Civil Aviation to increase the connectivity between two-tier and three-tier cities with the metro cities of the country. Apart from this, additional flights between Delhi-Jabalpur will also start from July 18 while between Khajuraho-Delhi-Khajuraho from October.
  1. Joe Biden Expands America’s “Child Tax Credit Program”
  • American President who Baiden Congress of ” Child Tax Credit Program ” ( Child Tax Credit Programme) because the program has the potential to reduce child poverty in the US. The program will be extended beyond its December end date. The US President initially planned to extend this credit for four years with the aim of making it permanent. Making the child tax credit program permanent was one of the five main aspects of the budget agreement. According to IRS estimates, $15 billion will be distributed to approximately 39 million families and 65 million children. Eligible families can extend the credit for 2021, adding $1,000 to the existing $2,000 child tax credit for each child ages 6 to 17 and $1,600 for a child age 5 and younger.
  1. IISc-Mynvax develops heat tolerant covid vaccine
  • The Indian Institute of Science ( IISc ) Bengaluru has developed a heat-tolerant COVID-19 vaccine. When studied on animals, it was found to be effective against all existing worrisome SARS-CoV-2 forms. This research is published in the journal ACS Infectious Diseases. The vaccine, developed by IISc-incubated biotech start-up Mynvax, produced a strong immune response in mice. It also protects hamsters from the virus. The vaccine was stable for one month even at 37 °C, while it was stable for 90 minutes at 100 °C.
  1. Prime Minister’s Fasal Bima Yojana deadline extended
  • The Central Government has extended the cut-off date for enrollment of farmers for Kharif season 2021 under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana ( PMFBY ) from July 15 to July 23 . The Maharashtra government had requested to extend the deadline of the crop insurance scheme till July 23. The state government has requested to increase the cut-off for Kharif 2021 following the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the Maharashtra government, 46 lakh farmers have applied for the scheme, but many of them are yet to complete the enrollment formalities. PMFBY was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 18, 2016. It is an insurance cover for farmers for their produce.
  1. Animal Husbandry Department and Dairy Schemes Reorganized
  • Prime Minister chaired the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has revised the various components of the plans by the Government of India and rearranged by several activities with special livestock sector package ( Special Livestock Sector Package) has been approved for implementation. This package will be implemented for the next 5 years from 2021-22. It will also help in promoting the development of livestock sector and make animal husbandry more profitable for the 10 crore farmers of the region. Under the livestock sector package, the central government will provide Rs 9800 crore. Under this package, the schemes of the department will be merged into three broad categories in the form of development programmes. These schemes include- Rashtriya Gokul Mission, National Livestock Mission, National Program for Dairy Development (NPDD), and Livestock Census and Integrated Sample Survey (LC&ISS) as sub-schemes.
  1. The central government took over the control of the District Mineral Fund from the states.
  • Center of the State District Mining Fund ( District Mineral Fund – DMF ) full control of funds took in his hand. It denies the right of the states to sanction or approve any expenditure out of money earned from compulsory contributions from mining lease holders. Since 2015-16, when the DMF fund came into effect, over Rs 49,400 crore has flown into the fund. According to the Ministry of Mines, the move was necessitated because there are instances where DMF funds are being transferred to a state or state level fund or a state level fund or a consolidated fund of the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. This in turn was defeating the purpose of creation of DMF.
  1. India’s first ‘Monk Fruit’ cultivation started in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu
  • The cultivation of’ monk fruit ‘brought from China hasstartedin Kullu,Himachal Pradesh . This fruit field trials in Himachal Pradesh Palampur in scientific research and industrial technology council – Himalayan Bioresources Institute of Technology ( CSIR – IHBT) was introduced. ‘Monk fruit’ is known for its properties as a non-caloric natural sweetener. Field trials have begun three years after CSIR-IHBT imported the seed from China and grew it at home. 50 saplings of these fruits were planted for testing in the field of a farmer in Raison village and a ‘Material Transfer Agreement’ has been signed with the farmer. The economic benefit from the new crop is estimated to be between Rs 3 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh per hectare. Flower patterns, pollination behavior and fruit setting time were also documented to draw the full life-cycle of the ‘monk fruit’ under agro-climatic conditions of the region.
  1. Cabinet approves subsidy of Rs 1,624 crore for shipping companies
  • Cabinet by Indian shipping companies to subsidies as Rs 1,624 crore has approved a plan to provide. This subsidy is more than five years will be provided for. Under this scheme, online registration will be done within 72 hours like the registries of the best ships in the world. Registration will make it easier and more attractive to register ships across India and will help increase Indian tonnage. The scheme seeks to provide 30 days to the in-flagging vessel to replace the crew on board with the Indian crew. According to this, ships which were flagged in India after February 1, 2021 and have a flagging time of less than 10 years in India, will get a subsidy support of 15% of the bid by the L1 foreign shipping company. The rate of Extended Subsidy Assistance will be reduced by 1% every year till it is reduced to 10 percent and 5 percent respectively for the two categories of vessels. The budgetary support will be provided directly to the concerned Ministry/Department.

  • WHO and UNICEF recently released their data on immunization of children . According to this report, India recorded the biggest reduction in routine child vaccination coverage in 2020 . Pakistan and Indonesia followed by Indiais the location of. This is the first official figure showing global service disruptions due to COVID-19. According to the data, most countries experienced a decline in child vaccination rates in 2020. According to WHO and UNICEF data, the number of vulnerable children in middle-income countries is increasing. India is facing a major decline. India’s DTP-3 coverage (diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis vaccine coverage) has dropped from 91% to 85%. In the WHO US region, only 82% of children have been fully vaccinated with DTP in the past year. In 2016 this figure was 91%. This is a result of lack of funding, vaccine misinformation, etc. in totality, In 2020, 23 million children missed basic vaccines under routine immunization services. Of those, 17 million children did not receive a single vaccine. Disruptions in immunization services were widespread in 2020. The Southeast Asian and Eastern Mediterranean regions were most affected by the disruptions.
  1. OECD-FAO releases outlook report on pulses
  • Economic Cooperation and Development Organization ( Organisation For Economic Co-Operation And Development – OECD ) and Food and Agriculture Organization ( FAO ) recently ” OECD-FAO Outlook Report 202l-2030Published, in which data has been given in relation to major crops. India is the center for any estimation in global pulses as it is the world’s largest producer, processor, importer and consumer. According to this report, global pulses supply will increase by 22 million tonnes (mt) by 2030, half of which is expected to come from Asia, particularly India. An additional 6.6 million tonnes will be produced as a result of introduction of high yielding hybrid seeds, supported mechanization, MSP regime and procurement mechanism. World pulses trade has grown to 17 million tonnes (from 13 million tonnes) over the past ten years and is projected to reach 19 million tonnes by 2030 due to India’s efforts to become self-reliant in pulses.
  1. Civil Aviation Ministry releases draft Drone Rules, 2021
  • Civil Aviation Ministry reconstituted ” Drone Rules , 2021 ” for public consultation”Issued. The draft rules were created on the basis of trust, self-certification and non-intrusive monitoring. It will replace the UAS Rules 2021 which was issued on March 12, 2021. As per the new rules, there will be minimal human interface on the Digital Sky platform and most of the permissions will be self-generated. It will also inform security features like ‘No Permission – No Take-Off’ (NPNT), real-time tracking beacon, geo-fencing etc. in future. Under these rules, the import of drones and drone components will be controlled by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade. All drone training will be done by an authorized drone school. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation will determine the training requirements, The drone will take care of schools and provide pilot licenses online. Drones without a unique identification number will not be allowed to operate unless it is exempted. Drone operators are required to generate a Unique Identification Number of the drone by providing the requisite details on the Digital Sky platform.

19 .EU releases tough climate change plans

  • The executive branch of the European Union issued new legislation this decade to fulfill its pledge to cut emissions of gases caused by global warming by 55% . The EU’s ‘ Fit for 55 ‘ law includes a controversial scheme to tax pollution from foreign companies . The law also provides for the de facto phase-out of gasoline and diesel cars by 2035. This includes new tariffs on gases from heating buildings. It also includes reforming the bloc’s emissions trading program. Under this program companies pay for the carbon dioxide they emit. Taxes on shipping and aviation fuel have also been introduced for the first time.

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated the World Youth Skills Day 2021 and the sixth anniversary of the Skill India Mission on 15 July 2021 . addressed the nation on the occasion of In his address, Prime Minister Modi highlighted “skill development of the new generation youth is a national necessity and a great foundation for a self-reliant India”. According to the PM, 1.25 crore youth have been trained so far under the Skill India Mission. PM Modi announced portal for 75 newly approved Jan Shikshan Sansthan and Jan Shikshan Sansthan, which will help in providing vocational skill training at minimum cost. An agreement will be signed between Jan Shikshan Sansthan and National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). Keeping in mind the youth of the country, a booklet will also be announced by releasing a booklet. 57 industry new courses will be started by the Directorate General of Training (DGT). Another MoU will be signed between National Council of Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) and Digilocker.

  • Gautam Adani -led Adani Group has completed the acquisition of ‘ Mumbai International Airport ‘ from GVK Group . With this acquisition, the Adani Group has become one of the leading airport infrastructure companies in India. India is set to become the third largest aviation market in the world by 2024. The addition of Mumbai International Airport to Adani Group’s existing portfolio of 6 airports will provide a transformative aviation platform enabling the Adani Group to interlink its B2B [business-to-business] and B2C [business-to-consumer] businesses. It will also help the Adani Group create multiple strategic proximity to its other B2B businesses. Adani Airport Holdings currently holds 74% stake in Mumbai International Airport.
  1. Reliance Retail buys Just Dial for Rs 3497 crore
  • Mukesh Ambani ‘s company Reliance Retail has bought digital services company Just Dial . Reliance Retail has done this deal for Rs 3,497 crore. The company informed that the company has acquired 41% stake. The company will bring an open offer for an additional 26% share. The company also said that the command of Just Dial will remain in the hands of MD and CEO VSS Mani. The money invested by Reliance Retail will enable Just Dial to grow and expand. With this, Just Dial will be able to step into new products and services. The company has a database of more than 3 crore listings.
