1.Bangladesh struggle to reach 125 for 4 at lunch :-
Umesh Yadav rattled Bangladesh batsmen with pace while Ishant Sharma got some reverse swing as the visitors were left struggling at 125/4 at lunch on the third day of the one-off cricket Test against India in Hyderabad on Saturday.

2.Interceptor missile successfully test-fired :-
India successfully test-fired its interceptor missile off the Odisha coast, achieving a significant milestone in the direction of developing a two-layered Ballistic Missile Defence system.

3.Trump, Abe pledge to strengthen U.S.—Japan relationship :-
Mr. Trump said the two countries face numerous challenges and bilateral cooperation is essential to address them.

4.Government Sells 2% stake in ITC to Raise Rs. 6,690 Crore :-
As a part of its disinvestment plan for 2016-17, the central government sold 2 percent of its stake in ITC to Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) on February 7, 2017 and earned Rs 6,690 crore.

5.Two MPs extend support to OPS :-
DK leader Veeramani said “Even Anna was not an MLA when he took oath.”
In a dramatic development, two MPs, Ashok Kumar from Krishnagiri and P.R. Sundaram from Namakkal, on Saturday, extended support to the caretaker Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam.

6.South Africa reclaims No.1 ranking in ODIs :-
India are placed fourth in the ODI team rankings with 112 points, behind third-placed New Zealand (113 points).South Africa returned to the top of the ICC ODI Team Rankings after sweeping aside Sri Lanka 5-0 in their home series which ended at Centurion.

7.Scanty voting so far in first phase of UP polls :-
Voting started at a slow pace in the 73 assembly constituencies in western Uttar Pradesh on Saturday morning. The turnout in the first hour was poor with mostly youngsters seen casting their ballots.

8.First phase of polling in U.P. on February 12:-
It’s a crucial day for Uttar Pradesh politics on Saturday as the State will see the first phase of Assembly elections in 73 seats in 15 districts.

9.Government Mandates Aadhaar for Receiving subsidised foodgrains from PDS Shops :-
The central government has made the Aadhaar mandatory for receiving the subsidised foodgrains from the ration shops in a bid to better achieve the target of Rs. 1.4 crore subsidy under the food security law.

10.Andhra Pradesh Government constitutes 33 member committee for Sagarmala Project :-
A 33 member committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for the speedy implementation of the Sagarmala Project in Andhra Pradesh.

11.Ananth Kumar Inaugurates Orientation Programme for Launching of 1000 PMBJKs :-
The Union Minister of Chemicals & Fertilizers and Parliamentary Affairs, Shri Ananthkumar inaugurated the Orientation Programme for the district heads of National Yuva Cooperative Society (NYCS) in New Delhi on February 10, 2017 to launch the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras (PMBJKs) in the country.

12.China releases theme for BRICS Summit 2017 :-
2017 BRICS association of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa to be held in Xiamen, China in September 2017
The summit will be held under the theme “BRICS: Stronger Partnership for a Brighter Future “
