1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announces free vaccines for all people above 18 years of age from 21st June
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that from June 21, the entire responsibility of vaccination will be taken by the Central Government. For this, guidelines will be prepared in collaboration with the states. In his address to the nation, Shri Modi said that the Central Government would provide free vaccines to all the citizens of the country.Will provide Shri Modi said that keeping in view the demands of the states, 25 percent of the vaccination campaign work was handed over to the states. After this the states were made aware of the difficulty of this massive campaign and the real status of vaccine availability in the world. Therefore, the states started demanding to implement the old system from May 1. PM Modi announced that all people above 18 years of age in the country will get the vaccine free of cost. Apart from this, private immunization centers have been allowed to procure up to 25% of the corona vaccine produced in the country. The central government will provide all the vaccines free of cost to the state governments. This new system will come into effect from June 21. On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi informed that seven companies are manufacturing Kovid-19 vaccine in the country. PM Modi also said that the advanced stage trial of three vaccines is going on. Apart from this, two vaccines for children and one A nasal vaccine formulation is also being tested. PM ModiAnnounced to extend the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana till Diwali this year . Under this scheme, 80 crore citizens will get free ration every month till November. This scheme was launched in April, 2020.
2. Performance grading index released regarding changes in school education
The effect of the steps taken to improve the field of school education is now clearly visible. This has come to light from the Performance Grading Index (PGI) released by the Ministry of Education regarding changes in school education . Most of the states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar have improved their past performance. Punjab, Chandigarh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar have topped (highest grade (A++)) among all states and union territories in this school report . The government has launched 70 standards to catalyze transformational change in the field of school education.The performance grading index is introduced with a set of PGI for States and Union Territories was first published in the context of 2017-18 in 2019. 3. BIMSTEC completes 24 years

4. Oxy One’ to be built on 80 acres in Haryana

  4. Panchavati Tree Plantation in Haryana: Under this initiative, plantation will be done in the villages of Haryana in the name of Panchavati. This will promote the process of obtaining natural oxygen from the trees.
5. World Bank approves $500 million assistance program for India’s MSME sector
The World Bank has approved a $500 million assistance program to boost India’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises-MSME sector . The objective of this program is to improve the performance of five lakh fifty thousand enterprises. Out of about five crore 80 lakh MSMEs in the country, more than forty percent enterprises do not have access to finance from formal sources. The MSME sector is the backbone of the country’s economy. It contributes thirty percent of India’s GDP and 40 percent of exports. This is the second program of the World Bank to assist the MSME sector. Earlier in July last year, a $750 million emergency program was approved.
6. Solar powered bitcoin mining facility launched in US

7. Goa government to renovate Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s forts, temples

8. Delhi government launched ‘Where Vote, There Vaccination’ campaign

9. Indian Oil Corporation Limited signs MoU with Gujarat Government for setting up petrochemical projects
Indian Oil Corporation Limited has signed an MoU with the Government of Gujarat to set up six petrochemical projects . These projects are being implemented in and around Vadodara.24,000 crore investment is expected to be set up. The MoU was signed in Gandhinagar today in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. According to the official release, these projects include Lupech project for petrochemicals, acrylic-oxo alcohol project at Dumad near Vadodara, infrastructure for JR and KAHSPL at Dumad, relocation of Lab TTL facility at Dumad and New Flair and hydrogen distribution at JR. facility will be included. These projects are expected to provide employment to more than 25,000 people.
10. NMPB and CSIR-NBRI sign MoU to promote cultivation and production of medicinal plants
National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) and National Botanical Research Institute (CSIR-NBRI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 4th June to enhance joint collaborative efforts for promotion of cultivation and production of medicinal plants and herbs in India. Did it This MoU will facilitate development of quality planting material (QPM) of identified medicinal plants and herbs of NMPB, establishment of their nurseries for QPM, various species of medicinal plants and plants including endangered ones for high altitude areas. 11. Union Minister for Rural Development, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Panchayati Raj, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar released a Model Citizen Manifesto for Panchayats
A Model Panchayat Citizen Manifesto/Framework for Delivery of Services in 29 Areas , as formulated by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj in collaboration with the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIR DPR) along with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to be implemented by the Central Rural Development , issued by the Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Panchayati Raj, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, through a virtual program, to be adopted by the Panchayats and to work in their favour. This Citizens Manifesto will ensure transparent and effective delivery of public services for sustainable development while designing and delivering services, and will enhance citizen service experiences, deep inclusiveness and accountability of local governments by incorporating diverse perspectives.

13. Center tells states: Unique Disability Identity Card (UDID) now acceptable as photo ID for registration on Co-Win 2.0
The Central Government has developed the Co-Win digital platform to streamline the process of vaccination for different categories of beneficiaries across the country . Co-Win provides the technical support to effectively implement and enhance the mechanism of the COVID Vaccine Delivery System. It has been the constant endeavor of the Central Government to streamline the universalization of the vaccination process. Under this, the Union Health Ministry has asked the States/UTs to include Unique Disability Identification (UDID) card as photo ID while registering on Co -Win 2.0 . As per the instruction note for Co-Win 2.0 issued on 2 March 2021, seven prescribed photo identity cards were specified for verification of the beneficiary prior to vaccination.

15. Covaxin vaccine trial started on children in Nagpur

16. SpaceX sends squid and microorganisms to ISS in rocket

17. NHPC has formed a JV company “Ratale Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited” with JKSPDC
NHPC Limited, India’s premier hydroelectric company under the Ministry of Power, has formed a Joint Venture Company, “Ratale Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited” for the implementation of the 850 MW Ratle Hydroelectric Project. JV Company has been incorporated on 01.06.2021 with NHPC and J&K State Power Development Corporation Limited (JKSPDC) with equity stake of 51 per cent and 49 per cent respectively. The Ratle Hydroelectric Project (850 MW) is a run-of-river scheme located on the Chenab River, in the Kishtwar district of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
18. CESL signs MoU with Ladakh and Meghalaya
Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL) , a wholly owned subsidiary of Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) under the Ministry of Power , has partnered with two states of India – Meghalaya and the Union Territory of Ladakh to create decentralized solar power of about 65 MW capacity .has signed two Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). CESL has signed an MoU with Meghalaya Power Distribution Corporation Limited (MEPDCL) in the first MoU with a capacity of 60 MW to implement various sustainable solutions like Pump Sets, LED Lighting and Solar Power Stations for Agriculture etc in the North Eastern State of Meghalaya. It will also be necessary to find synergies in business development to do so. Along with the Union Territory of Ladakh, CESL will implement various clean energy and energy efficiency programs including 5 MW of decentralized solar power in the region.
19. CESL expands to electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers on World Environment Day
Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL), a CPSE under the Ministry of Power , has entered into significant partnerships on World Environment Day in an effort to further increase the presence of electric vehicles in the country. MoUs and MoUs have been signed with the State Governments of Goa and Kerala for the purchase of more than 30,000 two wheelers and three wheelers. This is the first entry in the 2-wheeler and 3-wheeler segment in the country with specially designed solutions to provide affordable financial solutions to the buyers. Under the agreements, CESL will invest in setting up electric vehicle charging infrastructure and will also monitor the utilization of the assets. This customer-based approach has been designed to provide ease of use and better accessibility.
20. Maharashtra launches annual priority sector credit scheme
Maharashtra has launched ‘ State Annual Priority Sector Credit Scheme ‘ of Rs.4,60,881 crore with ‘ Composite Annual Credit Plan ‘ of Rs .’ started. It was launched during the quarterly State Level Bankers Committee (SBLC) meeting of Maharashtra. The state government has set a target of Rs 19 lakh crore annual lending by banks to the agriculture sector for the financial year 2021-2022. Of this, Rs 60,860 crore was earmarked for crop loans during Kharif and Rabi seasons. Banks have also disbursed crop loans worth Rs 47,972 crore for this financial year. The government has asked banks in the state to continue to finance more under crop loan disbursement for the Kharif 2021 season and achieve the season target by the end of June 2021. Banks have also been advised to improve credit delivery under the agriculture sector and support all government-sponsored schemes and self-help groups.

23. 7 June: World Food Safety Day
