1.Indian Railway launches digitised online HR Management System:- Indian Railway has launched a completely digitised online Human Resource Management System (HRMS). Railway Board Chairman and CEO Vinod Kumar Yadav launched the system for railway employees and pensioners through video conferencing on November 26, 2020: The HRMS system is a high thrust project for the Indian Railways to leverage improved productivity and employee satisfaction. The move is aimed at improving the efficiency and productivity of the Indian Railway system and a step towards realizing PM Narendra Modi’s vision of transforming India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.

2. Thawarchand Gehlot e-launched National Portal of Transgender People:-Union Social Justice and Empowerment Minister  Thawarchand Gehlot  launched the  ‘National Portal for Transgender People ‘  and inaugurated  a ‘Garima Griha: A Shelter Home for Transgender Persons’ in Vadodara, Gujarat  .This national portal for transgender persons has been developed within two months of the notification of 29 September 2020 of the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Rules 2020 . Garima Griha, a shelter home for transgender persons,  will be run in collaboration with the Lakshmana Trust which is a community-based organization run entirely by transgenders.

3. IPPB launches PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana:-India Post Payments Bank (IPPB)  has launched the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) , a low-cost insurance scheme for its customers, to  connect  large sections of the isolated and vulnerable population to the financial mainstream. IPPB has  partnered with PNB MetLife India Insurance Company for this insurance scheme  .The plan is to provide protection to the poor and the underprivileged, especially in the unconnected and remote areas of India, in the unexpected and unfortunate incident of loss of a family member who is mainly isolated.

* Whoever will have a savings account in IPPB.

* Minimum age 18 years and maximum age 50 years.

* Maximum coverage of Rs 2,00,000 per person despite multiple accounts / multiple certificates of insurance maintained under PMJJBY scheme.

* For this, you have to pay Rs 330 annually.

* 55 years of completion (near age birthday).

4. New Zealand’s Greg Barclay elected new ICC President:- Director of the Auckland commercial lawyer and 2012, New Zealand Cricket (NZC)  Greg Barclay  ( Greg Barclay)  after voting in the second phase  the International Cricket Council ( International Cricket Council )  new  president  is elected. Barclay  will replace India’s  Shashank Manohar who resigned from his post in July 2020, following which Imran Khawaja serves as the interim chairman. He is serving as the representative of the NZC on the board of the International Cricket Council and   has also served as the director of the ICC Men’s Cricket Cup 2015 .

5. DRDO flags off first heavy weight torpedo Varunastra:- Defense Research and Development (DRDO)  Chairman  G. Satesh Reddy  ‘s  Heavy Weight Torpedo (HWT) ,  Vrunastr  approved the first production unit. Varunastra  has been designed and developed by the Naval Science and Technical Laboratory (NSTL) of DRDO  , while  Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), Visakhapatnam  has manufactured torpedoes for the Indian Navy. Varunastra is a ship-launched, electrically propelled anti-submarine heavyweight  torpedo. It can be launched from ships that can attack any submarine in deep and shallow water from either side up or down.It is powered by an electric propulsion system consisting of several 250 kW silver oxide zinc (agozen) batteries.The almost entirely indigenously built ( 95%)  torpedo ‘Varunastra’ strikes at a speed of 74  kmph  , and the Varunastra weighing more than a ton can carry a warhead of up to 250 kg.Heavyweight torpedoes have also been introduced for export.

6. PM Modi released a book written on the life of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji :- Prime Minister Narendra Modi has  released a book on the life and ideals of Guru Nanak Dev , the founder of Sikhism and  one of the ten Gurus of Sikhs .This book   has been written by Kripal Singh ji .Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi was  also present during the book release  .

7.
