1.Government committed to strengthen Make-in-India plan: Prime Minister Narendra Modi:-

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the government is committed to strengthen the Make in India project. He said that the ‘One District One Product’ program is an extension of Make in India. During ‘One District, One Product Conference’ in Varanasi, Shri Modi congratulated Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for starting this program.UP is a hub of small and small scale industries. MSME sector offers highest employment after agriculture. Here MSME is a part of the Sector tradition. One Distinctive One Product, this experiment is a very strong extension of Make in India. This scheme is capable of setting UP on the industrial map of the world.The Prime Minister said that he himself is monitoring 100 districts where micro, small and medium enterprises are growing.Shri Modi said that his government is providing market, credit and other facilities to the weavers through the identification program.

2.Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate 106th Indian Science Congress (ISC) -2019 in Jalandhar, Punjab on January 3th:-

3.Government working towards ensuring employment, quality education and medical care in Andaman and Nicobar islands: PM:-

A goal of putting three-kilowatt-roof top solar plant in Car Nicobar is targeted. The government’s endeavor is that in the coming days, all the power requirements of Car Nicobar are met from solar energy. The Prime Minister also made many announcements in his speech.Shri Modi said that the government is trying to develop that along with the protection of environment and local culture. The Government has taken a major decision for farmers belonging to Kopra and Coconut cultivation in the coastal areas of the country including Andaman Nicobar. The minimum support price of Kopra has been increased by two thousand rupees per quintal. The support price of Millin Copra has been increased from Rs.7,500 to Rs. 9000 per quintal. The Prime Minister said that there are many possibilities in the field of renewable energy. We are working to change these possibilities in opportunities.
