1.Government of India, Government of Rajasthan and World Bank signed a $ 250 million agreement to improve the power distribution sector in Rajasthan  :-

Government of India, the Rajasthan government and the World Bank, “24 for everyone in Rajasthan x7 signed under power program State Electricity Distribution improve today $ 250 million development policy loan to the area (DPL) agreement. The signing of the agreement for this project was signed by the Indian Government on behalf of the Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Shri Sameer Kumar Khare, on behalf of Rajasthan Government, Mr. P. Ramesh, Special Secretary, Rajasthan Government and World Bank on behalf of World Bank (India Country Director Mr. Hisham Abdo has signed.

 

2.More than 21,000 nominations were received for the Padma awards, 2013, the nomination process will be open until September 15 :-

The last date for online nomination / recommendation of the Padma Awards, announced on the auspicious occasion of Republic Day, 2019, is September 15, 2018. So far, 21,855 nominations have been received on the website, of which 21,228 nominations / recommendations have been completed. The nomination process started on May 1, 2018.

Nominations have been invited from Central Ministries / Departments, States / UTs, Bharat Ratna and Padma Vibhushan Distinguished Personnel, Excellence Institutions and other sources for comprehensive discussions. Under the notification issued by the Ministry of Home on April 25, 2018, a request was made to identify talented individuals and enroll in their favor.

 

3.Government of India and World Bank signed a $ 300 million agreement to help India pursue the energy efficiency program  :-

The Government of India and the World Bank today signed a $ 300 million loan agreement and $ 80 million guarantee agreement to help India’s advance in the energy efficiency program. Implementation of this program Irfisiansi Energy Services Ltd. will be (EESL) and accelerate energy-saving measures in residential and public areas , will help increase its reach to strengthen the institutional capacity of EESL and commercial financing.

On behalf of the Government of India, the signing of this project was signed by Mr. Sameer Kumar Khare, Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance and Mr. Hisham Abdo, Acting Country Director, World Bank India on behalf of the World Bank.

With the investment under this program, it is expected to contribute 170 million tonnes of carbon dioxide to life , avoiding greenhouse gas emissions and avoiding the estimated 10 GW additional generation capacity.

Dredging Corporation of India Limited has announced a dividend of 20 per cent on capital of Rs 28 crore for the year 2017-18. DCI CMD Shri Rajesh Tripathi Shipping Ministry senior officials of the presence on the Union within New Delhi, Road Transport and Highways, Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Shri Nitin Gadkari handed over to Czech Rs 4.11 crore. During this month’s start at the 42nd Annual General Meeting of the DCI had announced Rs 2 equity shares of Rs 10 dividend and the total amount for 2017-18 was Rs 5.6 crore. The share of Government of India in this company is 73.47 per cent. A dividend of Rs 4.11 crore was given instead of this stake.

During the financial year 2017-18, the company earned profit after tax (after tax) of Rs. 1664.27 lakhs as against Rs. 712.26 last year. The operating income of the company stood at Rs. 59187.36 lakhs as compared to Rs. 58514.77 lakhs last year. The total income of the company was Rs 61211.90 lakh, which was Rs 59896.55 lakh in the previous year. During the year 2017-18, the company’s earnings per share stood at Rs 5.94, compared to 2.54 in the previous year.

6.Government declares rules for safe commercial use of drones :-

The government has announced regulations for safe commercial use of the drone. These rules will be applicable from 1st December. Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu told in New Delhi yesterday that according to these rules, the drones can be used only at the time of day and up to four hundred feet height. Three zones of the airfield have been declared. In the Red Zone the drone will not be allowed to blow, yellow zone will be controlled airspace and no permission will be required to use the drone in the green zone. Shri Prabhu said that these progressive rules will encourage the Made In India drone industry.

 

7.Center has signed Memorandum of Understanding with six states of Upper Yamuna Valley for construction of Lakhwar project :-

The Central Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with six states of Upper Yamuna Valley for the construction of Multipurpose Lakhwar project in Uttarakhand. These states are Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi. Ganga Rehabilitation Minister Nitin Gadkari has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chief Ministers of these states for a project of about Rs. Four thousand crores.

The agreement signed between the states today is very useful for our six states. Its price is four thousand crores and most importantly, when the Yamuna will not have water in the five months of January, February, March, April and May and especially Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan to drink here There is water problem At that time, we will use it on the greatest proof.

 

8.Rural ” Start Up ” Conference in Hyderabad from August 30 :-

The second rural “start up” conference is going to start in Hyderabad from August 30, in which more than 300 representatives from 23 states will participate.

National Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Institute (NIRDPR) is organizing the second session of “Rural Inovators Start Up Concealve” (RISC).

In a statement, NIRDPR said in a statement that the purpose of the two-day conference starting on August 30 is to identify rural innovation and start-up and promote access, education and capacity building besides rural start up besides monitoring and protection and innovation.

In the presence of others including Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan and Union Rural Development Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu will inaugurate the program.

 

9.The shelter house for the needy children at railway stations :-

Railway has made a unique initiative for children who are found in their campus and need urgent care and protection. Under this, he will make a shelter at some stations, where these children will be provided accommodation for some time.

A senior official of the Railway Board said that as a pilot project, such shelter homes and help desks will be installed at Delhi, Guwahati, Danapur, Samastipur and Ahmedabad railway stations or at places adjacent to them.

The board said that in these 2,000 sq.ft built shelters, about 25 children will be able to live and nutrition, psychosocial and medical facilities will be provided. They will be used according to the Juvenile Justice Act and Poxo (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses) Act, “Children will be treated as a way to meet their family”.
