1.India-Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement- “INDOS ECTA” signed in the presence of Prime Minister

The Reserve Bank of India has extended the deadline for banks to use lockable cassettes in their ATMs by one year till March 31, 2023 , which can be changed while refilling cash. Most ATMs are currently filled through open cash top-up or by pouring cash into the machines on the spot. RBI requested that this approach be changed by guaranteeing that the lockable cassettes are exchanged when the currency is replenished at ATMs. Earlier, banks were expected to gradually start using lockable cassettes, with at least a third of their ATMs being secured by March 31, 2021. Later the deadline was extended till March 31, 2022.

Recently, the Union Home Minister inaugurated the 115th birthday celebrations of Dr. Sri Sri Sri Shiva Kumaraswamy at Siddaganga Math in Tumkur , Karnataka and participated in the Guruvandana ceremony. Shivakumara Swami was a revered seer of the Lingayat-Virashaiva faith of the Siddaganga Math in Tumkur and the Lingayat religious head of the Sri Siddaganga Math. He was born on 1st April, 1907 in Ramanagara (Karnataka)He was born in the village of Veerpura, he was known for his philanthropic activities. He worked for 88 years to realize Basaveshwara’s idea and paved the way for equality, education and making people spiritually prosperous. In recognition of the social work done by him, he was awarded the third highest civilian award, Padma Bhushan in 2015 and Karnataka Ratna in 2007. He was also awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Literature by Karnataka University in the year 1965. He founded the Sri Siddaganga Education Society Trust, which runs about 125 educational institutions in Karnataka ranging from primary schools, schools for the blind to arts, science, commerce and engineering. He was known as “Walking God” among his followers. He passed away in the year 2019.
