2.Proceedings of the two houses of Parliament adjourned for the day due to the disruption of opposition parties on various issues :-

As soon as the proceedings of the Lok Sabha began, the Telugu Desam Party and YSR Congress members came to the center of the House to demand special registration of Andhra Pradesh. MPs of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti demanded raising quota quota for jobs in Telangana and MPs of AIADMK demanded the formation of the Kaveri Management Board. Meanwhile, members of Congress, Trinamool Congress, Left parties and other parties started sloganeering on the issue of bank fraud. Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan adjourned the proceeding till 12 noon in the interim, then for the whole day.

 

3.Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macro inaugurated solar power plant in Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh :-

Image result for pmPrime Minister Narendra Modi and President of France Immanuel Macro unitedly inaugurated 101 MW Solar Power Plant in Dadararal village of Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh. Our correspondent has reported that the country’s largest solar project has been set up by French company EGIE.

Prior to the inauguration of the solar power plant, the two leaders spat out the solar panels and got detailed information about them. The agreement was signed in 2016 with French company NG to establish this largest solar power plant in the state. Made with the cost of six hundred eight crores rupees, it will start from next month.

 

4.Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the Solar Technology Mission for Research and Development in the Solar Power Sector :-

Image result for Solar TechnologyPrime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Immanuel Macroon co-chaired the first International Solar Coalition Conference in Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Sunday. In the conference, a requirement of $ 10 trillion investment was required to produce solar energy by the year 2030.

On this occasion, Shri Modi emphasized on totality and presented ten point work points. These include availability of affordable solar technology for all the nations, increasing the share of energy generated from photovoltaic cells in power generation and preparation of rules and standards.

He said that solar energy policy should contribute towards achieving sustainable development goals.

The Prime Minister emphasized on increasing the share of solar energy in the energy sector and providing subsidized and low-risk capital for solar power projects. He said that it would provide cheap electricity and reduce carbon emissions. He said that India will produce 175 GW of electricity from renewable energy sources by 2022.

 

5.Three legislators, including Kirodi Lal Meena, state chief of National People’s Party in Rajasthan, join BJP :-

6.North Korea will only take action after trump and Kim talks :-

Image result for North KoreaThe United States said that only after concrete action from North Korea, there will be talks between President Donald Trump and North Korean President Kim Jong-them.

Trump also confirmed the signing of an agreement with North Korea on the completion of the promise, saying that it would be great for the world. One day before Trump accepted Kim’s invitation and surprised the global community.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said that the talks with North Korea will not be negotiated without concrete action. At the same time, the time and date are not fixed for the meeting.

 

7.One-Day Conference on Development of Command Area :-

8.Prime Minister will inaugurate the academy of Mary Kom :-

Image result for मेरीकामPrime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Marikam Regional Boxing Foundation in Imphal on 16th March and Olympic medalist boxer Vijender Kumar and wrestler Sushil Kumar will also be present on this occasion. Located in the western Imphal district of Manipur, the Mary Kom Boxing Academy is spread over 3.3 acres and 10 kilometers from the capital. At present, 45 young boxers are training, including 20 girls. The Manipur government allotted this land in 2013. The academy was established by the amount received from National Sports Development Fund.
