1.Central Greek Research Council conducts next year in celebration of Greek Day:-

The Central Greek Medicine Research Council is launching various programs to celebrate the Greek Day next year. Greek day is celebrated on 11th February every year. The AYUSH Ministry, in 2016, honored the contribution of prominent Indian Greek physician Hakim Ajmal Khan and decided to celebrate his birthday on 11 February as a Greek day.

The Central Greek Medicine Research Council will organize a two-day national conference on Greek medicine for public health. Awards , exhibitions and many programs will be organized in this regard in the national capital . The conference will be important to focus on public health , including infant care , will discuss problems occurring during aging. In this session people’s awareness on Greek medicines will be increased.

2.India successfully tested Agni-four missile carrying nuclear weapons successfully from Orissa coast:-

Long-range ballistic missile fire-4 with nuclear power was successfully tested from Odisha coast. This test was done from APJ Abdul Kalam Island at 8:20 in the morning. The Agni-4 is a two-stage missile built in indigenous , with an antagonistic capacity of 4 thousand kilometers. Defense Research and Development Organization has said that the missiles in the order of reaching their goal in this missile have the ability to recover themselves. India also successfully tested the intercontinental ballistic missile earlier this month.

3.Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that problem of Maoism in the state can not be resolved with bullets:-

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has said that problem of Maoism in the state can not be resolved with bullets in the state. In an interaction with Akashvani, Mr. Baghel said that his government will work to restore the faith of the tribal people in the Maoist-hit areas of the state.

He said, “Since gun has not been able to solve any problem till date. The problem will be solved by taking people there into confidence. There’s a tribal whether non-tribal , businessman , journalist there , intellectuals who there , people who work in the social sector , the discussion and will increase further we move into a solid strategy. ”

4.PM announces Sardar Patel award for national integrity:- 

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi announced the yearly Sardar Patel Award for National Integration at the DGP / IGP  Conference in Kedia . This award will be given for extraordinary efforts towards furthering national integration.

The Prime Minister said,   ” Sardar Patel dedicates his life to unite India. Sardar Patel Award for National Integration will be a proper tribute to him and it will motivate more and more people to work towards the integration of India and national integration. ”  

5.Railways get 17 honors in the field of energy  conservation:-

Railways have bagged 17 awards in the ‘National Energy Conservation Award-2012’ held here on December 14. Of the awards given in five major categories involving various sub-sectors, Railways participated in three categories of stations, hospitals and institutes. In the field of transport, under the station category, where the Railways got 10 awards, there were three awards in the category of hospitals. Talking about the categories of institutes, he got four awards for PWD, CPWD and PHED.Madhya Pradesh’s Vidisha station is at number one, among the 10 awards that have been received in the Railway section in the category of stations. Second is Gujarat’s Jamnagar. Next comes the place of Dwarka, Rajkot, Surendranagar, Hyderabad, Nizamabad, Guwahati, Jaipur and Kazipet.

In the hospital category, Izzatnagar Division of Railways is at number one. Railway Hospital of Rajkot division second and railway hospital of Ratlam division remained at number three. In the areas of energy conservation in the offices, four awards have been received in the part of the railway, out of which, the Secunderabad division and the DRM office of Hyderabad received the first and second prize.

6.United Nations Security Council passed resolution to send Supervisor to Yemen:-

The United Nations Security Council has unanimously approved the proposal to deploy supervisors to monitor the delicate situation of the ceasefire at Hudydah, strategically important port city of Yemen. The 15 members of the Council on a draft on the draft presented on UK made an intensive discussion and it was amended several times before passing it. The council also endorsed the results of negotiations in Sweden in the mediation of the United Nations last week.

The conflicting parties of Yemen have agreed on the ceasefire. It has come into force on Tuesday and includes the removal of fighters from Hudydah, which is a major way for aid and food. It is the lifeline for millions of people living on the face of hunger. The ceasefire between Saudi Arabia-led forces and the Hutia Shiite rebels is being seen as a great opportunity to end the four-year conflict. There is also a plan for exchange of prisoners in the agreement , in which about 15,000 prisoners can be swapped. In the proposal of the United Nations Security Council, it has been emphasized that all sides of the ceasefire for Hudydah have respect. In the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia’s current representative Khalid Mansalivi said that his country welcomes the proposal.

8.India’s seventh largest stock exchange:-

India has become the seventh largest stock exchange in the world. He has achieved this medal by overtaking Europe’s biggest economy, the stock market of Germany. According to Bloomberg’s report , after Britain left the European Union in March, France is now the only European country in the seven largest economy. Trade tension between the US and China, despite the challenge of increasing interest rates by the Federal Reserve , India has achieved this position.

The size of India’s benchmark S & P BSE Sensex has increased by five percent compared to the previous year. The Indian market has successfully faced the challenge of crude oil fluctuations and heavy selling of foreign investors. According to the World Bank , Germany’s GDP is 38% of exports , while in India it is only 11%. This shows that the reason for the acceleration in the Indian market is increasing domestic demand. India is the fastest growing economy.

9.Loss of GST rates on 23 items and services, new rates applicable from 1st January:-

GST Council has reduced tax rates on 23 items and services. Now only 28 items have remained in the highest 28 percent slab of GST. Tax rates on cinema tickets up to Rs 100 have been reduced from 18% to 12%. Whereas, instead of 28% on tickets for more than Rs. 100, it will now be 18% tax.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley told reporters after the meeting of the commodity and service tax council in New Delhi on Saturday evening that the GST rates on parts of the vehicles of Divas have been reduced to 5 percent. He said that the reduction in tax rates would result in a revenue of Rs 5000-500 crore in revenue. The Finance Minister said that there will be no tax on the service of the bank for public money account holders. Mr. Jaitley said that the tax slab of 28 per cent will be applicable on luxury goods like cement and vehicle parts air conditioner and dish washer. New rates for commodity and service tax will be effective from January 1.

10.Aishwamana plan, gradually moving:-

Ayushman Bharat Scheme, launched to provide free treatment to the poor, has started flowing slowly. More than six lakh poor have been treated for free and cashless treatment within three months of the start of the scheme. Health Minister JP Nadda said that the figures clearly state that the benefit of the Prime Minister Jan Swasthya Yojana is being provided to poor people even in remote areas. A senior Health Ministry official said that as the poor families are getting information about this scheme, the number of beneficiaries is increasing. The popularity of the scheme can be estimated from the fact that in the last three months, about 31 lakh e-cards were given to the beneficiaries, while in the last 24 hours 1.21 lakh e-cards have been issued. During this, about 10 thousand people have been admitted to the hospitals for poor treatment.The letter is being sent to all the poor families on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi under this scheme. So far 6.45 families have been sent this letter. Modi himself has been monitoring the scheme from time to time. His clear instruction is that no one can be deprived of treatment due to lack of money.

Under this scheme, hospitals are not required to wait too long to pay the expenses for the treatment of the poor. Under this, the hospitals are being paid in full within 15 days. So far, Rs 817 crores has been spent on the treatment of the poor. Of these, Rs 472 crore has been given to the hospitals. According to JP Nadda, Prime Minister Jan Arogya Yojana, launched under Ayushman India, has emerged from the very first day as a belief for the poor, whose family had broken the burden of treatment or they were deprived of treatment only.The President praised the Ayushman Bharat Scheme: Karimnagar (Telangana), Praetor: President Ramnath Kovind, appreciating the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, said that its goal is to ensure that no one lacks any resources due to lack of economic resources. Kovind emphasized the need for strengthening public, municipal corporations, primary hospitals, primary health centers and wellness clinics for better health care.
