1.Air Force chief’s visit to Brazil  :-

Air Chief Marshal, PVSM AVSM YSM VM ADC, Indian Air Force chief is going on an official visit to Brazil from 4 to 7 June 2018. This bilateral Goodwill Tour is being organized on the invitation of Brazilian Air Chief.

2.US veto motion on UN resolution to protect Palestine :-

After more than 100 Palestinians were killed in the firing of the Israeli army on the border with Gaza, the United States has vetoed the draft of the Arab-supported United Nations proposal for their protection measures. This draft proposal was kept by Kuwait on behalf of Arab countries in the Security Council. The party in China , was voted by France and Russia, including the ten countries , while Britain , Ethiopia , the Netherlands and Pulend were absent. In order to accept the draft of this proposal in the 15-member Security Council, nine votes were needed and there should not be a veto on behalf of the five permanent countries.

3.India successfully tested successful nuclear-capable long-range ballistic missile Agni-5 from Odisha coast in the country :-

India successfully tested the long-range ballistic missile Agni -5, developed in the country. This test was done on Sunday morning from 9.30 am on Sunday from Abdul Kalam Island on Odisha coast. This state-of-the-art missile developed by the Defense Research and Development Organization can kill 5,000 square kilometers on land. The missile can carry a nuclear weapon weighing over one ton. The approximate 50-tonne missile length is about 17 meters wide and 2 meters wide.

This is the third test of the long range missile. 

4.China announces its military delegation to India :-

In April this year, China has announced its military delegation to India, taking a major step in compliance with the decisions taken in the informal talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and China’s President Shi Chinping.

  1.  5 lakh life insurance plans for farmers of Telangana will start :-

The Telangana government has said that it will soon announce the life insurance scheme of five lakh rupees for the farmers of the state. Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said that this scheme will be implemented through the public life insurance corporation. Within ten days of the death of the farmer, his family will be given a sum of five lakh rupees. Announcing this on the occasion of Telangana Foundation Day, Rao said that the government will give the full amount of premium for this scheme. Distribution of documents of insurance to farmers will start from August 15. Apart from this , Rao said that since August 15, the government will also launch free eye camps under the Kanti Velagu plan. The glasses will be distributed free to the people here.

6.External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, BRICS and IBASSA to attend a five-day South African tour to attend the meeting :-

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has left for a five-day trip to South Africa today. They will meet with the top leaders of South Africa. In a tweet message, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravi Kumar said that the Foreign Minister will attend the meeting of BRICS countries’ foreign ministers on June 4 and preside over the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of India, Brazil and South Africa Forum – IBSA.

7.Coca-Cola, Infosys reduces its plastic pollution :-

Many companies have taken pledge to stop or reduce plastic-borne pollution to reduce the damage caused by plastic from the environment. These include the world’s leading beverage company Coca-Cola , the country’s second largest IT company Infosys Ltd and world’s leading hotel chain Hilton Group. Ishtiaq Amjad, Vice President (Public Affairs and Corporate Communications) of Coca-Cola India and South West Asia, said that the company has set a goal of reclaiming a package and recycling it instead of every plastic package that was marketed by the year 2030.

8.Government launches income tax reward scheme to get people’s support in detecting black money :-

The Government has started a prize scheme to find people’s help in detecting black money and preventing tax evasion. The Income Tax Department has announced the Anonymous Transaction Information Initiative Plan 2018. Under this scheme, the beneficiary will be given a prize of one crore rupees for the information of the transaction of income and income earned by him. Our correspondent has told that foreign nationals can also take advantage of this scheme. The identity of the person giving the information will be kept secret and complete confidentiality will be made in this case.

9.Malaysian team loomed on 27 runs in front of India, no figure could touch 10 :-

Captain Mitali Raj, after the glorious unbeaten 97 runs bowled by the bowling bowlers, defeated the current champion India in their first match of the women’s T20 Asia Cup tournament, defeating hosts Malaysia by a huge margin of 142 runs on Sunday. The Indian team batted first before winning the toss and scored a strong score of 169 for three wickets in 20 overs and then piled up Malaysia for 27 runs in 13.4 overs.

Spanish Socialist Party leader Pedro Sanchez took the oath of office as prime minister. Sanchez sworn in without the Bible. It is said that they did so because they are atheists. This is the first time in Spain’s history that when a prime minister has taken the oath without a Bible.
