1.Bangladesh tops South Asia for women on boards of listed companies
A study by the International Finance Corporation-IFC and the Dhaka Stock Exchange-DSE revealed that Bangladesh tops South Asia in terms of women on the boards of listed companies . 2.Credit Guarantee Scheme (CGSSD) for Subsidiary Loans has been extended till 31st March 2023.

In line with this announcement, a scheme i.e. ‘ Credit Guarantee Scheme for Subsidiary Loans ‘ has been launched by the Government on 1st June, 2020.’ was approved and launched on June 24, 2020, as per the Reserve Bank of India guidelines relating to the books of accounts of distressed Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, ie Lending Institutions, through Lending Institutions. This was done with the objective of providing credit facilities to the promoters of enterprises having eligible SMA-2 and NPA accounts. Initially, the tenure of this scheme was till 31.03.2021. In the past, the government had extended this scheme till March 31, 2022, with the aim of keeping the avenue open for providing assistance to the distressed micro, small and medium enterprises units. Now, the government has decided to extend this scheme till 31st March 2023 based on the requests received from various stakeholders of the scheme.
