1.Cabinet clears Memorandum of Understanding between India and Singapore in the field of Personnel Management and Public Administration :-

Image result for pmUnder the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Union Cabinet has given its approval for the signing of MoU between India and Singapore for cooperation in the field of personnel management and public administration.

major features –

The objective of the MoU is to improve the current system of governance , especially in the workforce , workplace and job , public service delivery , human resources management , public sector reform , leadership / talent development and e-governance / digital government.

 

2.Cabinet approves MoU signed in renewable energy sector between India and France :-

Both countries aim of the National Solar Energy Institute (Anaisi) , India and came Atomic Energy et aux Anerjeejh Altrnetiws (CEA) in France , aims to identify research / demonstration / pilot project areas were selected between. Both sides based on reciprocal agreement include ISS. a. Pilot in member countries will work for project implementation and operation. This support joint research projects , joint research and development , joint workshops , exchange of research and technology, exchange of experts between the two countries – which also include ,There can be many resources, including the way through. The objective of this MoU is to network and exchange of experts.

 

3.In April 2018, foreign currency earnings registered an increase of 10.2% compared to April 2017 :-

Foreign exchange earnings from tourism (in rupees) –

14 2017 Apral , compared to Rs 260 crore, earning foreign exchange in April 2018 15 , was Rs 713 crore.

In April 2018, compared to April 2017, the growth rate of foreign exchange earnings was 10.2%.

During January-April 2018, Foreign exchange earnings increased 14.2% compared to January-April 2017, up from Rs 60,079 crore in January-April, 2017 , with a growth of 14.2 % to Rs 68,629 crore.

Forex earning from tourism (in dollars) –

Foreign exchange earnings are $ 2.393 billion in April 2018, compared to $ 2.211 billion in April 2017.

In April 2018, compared to April 2017, the growth rate of foreign exchange earnings was 8.2%.

Foreign exchange earnings during January-April 2018 were US $ 10.621 billion, with a 17.4% increase over the 9.044 billion US dollars in January-April, 2017. January-April 2017 saw an increase of 17.5 % compared to January-April 2016 .

 

4.Indo-Dutch Startup Initiative: # Startup Link to Be Introduced  :-

With the upcoming visit to India by the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Root, there is hope for strengthening relations between India and the Netherlands in all areas. With the Netherlands’s Prime Minister, the Netherlands’s Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, Health Care, Infrastructure and Water and Agriculture and Food Minister, along with a 220-member business delegation will also be the largest business mission in India so far.

In an effort to further the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship, Invest India (host of Startup India initiative of the Government of India under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry) and the Government of the Netherlands are jointly launching Indo-Dutch # Startup Link Initiative. Its official launch will be done on May 25, 2018 at Taj West End Hotel in Bangalore. With this initiative encouraging the joint consciousness of innovation and entrepreneurship, the double objective of expanding the market for startups in both countries will be fulfilled.  

 

5.SCO countries discuss terrorism cooperation :-

Deputy National Security Advisor Rajinder Khanna and National Security Advisor of Pakistan Nasir Khan Janjua met with the top security officials of the other members of the SCO, before the SCO conference in Changdao, China, on 9-10 June. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be attending this conference. This will be the first conference of SCO after joining India and Pakistan in this group. In this group, China’s main role, besides India and Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are also included.

 

6.Venezuela is ready to pay crude oil in Indian Rupees :-

7.E-way bill system will be implemented across the country from June 3 :-

The e-way bill system for movement of goods inside the state will be held on June 3, Will be applicable from 2018. Sarna has asked all the Chief Commissioners of the remaining areas to cooperate with the State Authorities and implement this notification as soon as possible. Apart from this, the date of implementation of this should also be propagated in a proper manner. He said that the e-bill system is working according to the expectation and since its implementation on April 1, 2018, more than 4.5 crore e-bills have been withdrawn.

 

8.Kolkata beat Rajasthan by 25 runs, second qualifier to be held in Hyderabad :-

The Eliminator match of the IPL 2018 was played between KKR and Rajasthan Royals at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. In this match, KKR kept their hopes of reaching the finals by defeating Rajasthan by 25 runs. To make KKR in the final, now have to play against Hyderabad on May 25 in the second qualifier match. 9.Kumaraswamy takes charge of Karnataka :-

11.Finance Ministry issues e-commerce companies for loan under prime minister’s money scheme :-

The Finance Ministry has tied up with more than two dozen e-commerce companies to provide loans to small entrepreneurs under the Prime Minister Jan Dhan Yojana, which includes veterans such as Amazon, Flipkart, Ola and Uber. This information is given by a senior official.

The lenders, the industry and the government have passed the goal of this three-tier partnership with small businesses to provide loans. Prime Minister’s Money Scheme is a flagship scheme of the government, which aims to provide loans upto Rs 10 lakhs to small entrepreneurs. They are being given these loans by the bank, small financial bank, non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) and Micro Finance Institution.

 

12.Policy Commission and ABB join hands to help Indian and AI robotics :-

Image result for AIABB and the Policy Commission today signed an agreement so that the country can take advantage of the latest technologies. These include techniques like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics. These two organizations have signed the Statement of Intent (SOI). With this, they will be able to work together to create major areas of economy for digitization, artificial intelligence (AI), robotics and industrial automation. ABB India has said this in an official statement.

Under this initiative, a fast growing segment of electric mobility is also included. Policy Commission and ABB will work with government ministries. Besides, they will take feedback for important areas and with the help of Industrial Automation and Digitalization technology, they will find solutions for them.
