Information and Broadcasting Minister Col Rajyavardhan Rathore launched the broadcast of Akashwani news on private FM channels in New Delhi. On this occasion, Information and Broadcasting Minister Col Rajyavardhan Rathore has said that sharing of news bulletins of AIR with private FM channels is an excellent initiative for empowering the citizens of the country to become empowered through information.Shri Rathore has personally fm. Expressed gratitude for collaborating with channels of AIR. He said that the possibility of similar cooperation with local channels can also be considered for the transmission of regional news.On this occasion Prasar Bharti Chairman A Sun Prakash said this introduction is an excellent opportunity for private and public sector broadcasters.Era Joshi, Director General of News Service Division of AIR said that this has fulfilled an old demand of news broadcast by private channels.Private FM channels will start broadcasting news bulletins of AIR news news division from May 31 this year as a test. Under this, public broadcasters will be permitted to broadcast Hindi and English bulletins for the same purpose.

2.Fourth edition of Raisina Dialogue will start in New Delhi:-

The fourth edition of the Raisina Dialogue will start in New Delhi.  In the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg will inaugurate the inauguration speech.The Ministry of External Affairs has launched the annual series Raisina Dialogue in discussions on geopolitical and geo-strategic issues in partnership with Observer Research Foundation. This year’s theme of dialogue is: new equations in world order, wobbly partnerships and uncertain results. In the Raisina dialogue, the current global issues and challenges, new technologies, new partnerships and new ways of leadership will be discussed. In this dialogue, more than 600 delegates from 93 countries will participate, including influential political leaders, strategic thinkers, political activists, technology experts, academics and business people.

3.Shri Manoj Sinha inaugurated the ‘Smart Infrastructure to Enable M-2-M / IOT’ Conference:- 

Minister of State for Communication (Independent Charge) and Minister of State for Railways, Shri Manoj Sinha said that the machine has the ability to change our life in machine (M-2-M) communication and Internet of Things (IOT). These techniques can completely change the way we approach our physical world. Shri Sinha today inaugurated the one-day ‘ Smart InfrastructureManagement M- 2- M / IOT Enabled ‘  Conference  organized by Telecom Engineering Center (PEC), New Delhi  .On this occasion, Mr. Manoj Sinha released two technical reports prepared by Tec. The title of the first report is  ‘ Recommendations for IOT / M-2-M Safety’  and the second report is titled  ‘ Design and Planning of Smart Cities with IOT / ICT ‘  . Telecom Secretary and Telecom Commission Chairman Mrs. Aruna Sudharajan said that it is pleasant to see detailed and relevant reports prepared by TEC. Such efforts will lead to the systematic development of M-2-M / IOT in the country.

Emerging techniques are included under M-2-M / IOT communication. IOT-enabled smart infrastructure in the conference, IOT’s role in the design and planning of smart cities, various dimensions related to standardization of M-2-M / IOT and security of smart device / equipment, challenges and challenges of certification were discussed. .

M-2-M / IOT is being used in diverse applications of different areas, such as automotive (intelligent full transportation system), energy (smart meter, smart grid), health care in the remote area, security and monitoring, smart housing, Waste management and water management etc. All these dimensions are important in the design and planning of smart cities.

Giving the best wishes to the conference and TEC, Mr. Sinha said that I want TEC to continue its work in the field of emerging digital communication technology.

4.Prime Minister will visit Agra today and launch projects of Rs 2,980 crores:-

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Agra. Shri Modi will launch the Gangajal project and various other development projects. She will lay the foundation for upgrading the Integrated Command and Control Center , SN Medical College for Agra Smart City .Gangajal program is a project of 2 , 880 crore , it will provide better water supply to Agra city. This will benefit Agra residents and tourists.The project for upgradation of SN Medical College in Agra is 200 crores. This involves making a 100-bed motherhood unit in the women’s hospital. This will help in better health and maternity care for the weaker sections of society. The cost of integrated command and control project for Agra Smart City will be Rs. 285 crores. This will help the Agra city develop its stature and place it according to the leading tourist site.

It will be the second visit of the Prime Minister of Agra. On November 20 , 2016, the Prime Minister of Prime Minister Housing Scheme (Rural) launched his Agra arrival. Under this scheme 65 lakh houses have been constructed so far. Out of this 9.2 lakh houses are in Uttar Pradesh. They launched area special rail infrastructure and services.

5.Ministry of Commerce organized National Workshop on Agricultural Export Policy:- 

The first National Workshop on Agricultural Export Policy, recently approved by the Cabinet, was held in New Delhi. This workshop was inaugurated by the Union Minister of Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation, Shri Suresh Prabhu. Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Shri C.R. Chaudhary , Secretary in the Department of Commerce , Dr. Anup Wadhavan , senior officers of the Government of India and various departments of state governments , agricultural experts and exporters participated in this workshop.The commerce minister asked all state governments on this occasion to constitute a major (nodal) agency devoted to the implementation of this policy. Mr. Suresh that first went to agricultural export policy and it is extremely widespread Lord said , because research and development (R & D) , cluster , including all related sectors such as logistics and transport (sector). He said that by organizing such workshops, it will help in obtaining necessary information and suggestions on identifying various obstacles and removing the difficulties in implementation of policy.The objective of this policy is to double the agricultural exports by 2022 to the current level of US $ 30 billion by the year 2022 and then take it to the level of 100 billion US dollars in the next few years. Export commodities and diversify destinations , more valuable and worth the added boost agricultural exports, including early perishable items , unique , indigenous , promotion of organic and non-traditional agricultural products , to institutional arrangements to ensure market access , Dealing with technical barriers / SPSs , By integrating with Global Value Chain (GVC), doubling India’s share in world agriculture exports and empowering farmers to take advantage of the export opportunities contained in foreign markets are also among other goals of the Agricultural Export Policy.Through appropriate policy measures under this policy to exploit the export potential of agriculture , agriculture India is going to be focused on creating a global power and the old double revenue by 2022 farmers.   Is an important pillar of the agricultural economy and the sector needs immediate attention to reforms , because depending on the country of 60 per cent agriculture.Diversification in the items related to agricultural exports and the search for those markets is the demand of the time where the export can be done. The average cost of production will be reduced , so that agricultural produce in India can compete in the international market.

6.Bill for giving 10 percent reservation for jobs and higher education institutions to economically weaker sections of general category introduced in Lok Sabha:-

The Bill for giving reservation of ten percent reservation for the general category of financially backward classes to government jobs and admission in higher education institutions has been introduced in the Lok Sabha. Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thavarchand Gehlot presented the 124th Constitution Amendment Bill in the House today. The Union Cabinet had approved the decision to introduce the bill.

7.World Bank President Jim Young Kim announced his resignation from his post:-

World Bank President Jim Young Kim has announced to resign from his post in a surprising decision. Mr Kim’s tenure is to expire in 2022 , but he has announced to step down on February one this year. 58-year-old Kim has been in the post for more than six years. The World Bank has stated in a statement that Kim will be involved in a firm and will work on developing programs in basic facilities in developing countries. World Bank CEO Kristilina Georgiwa will take charge of the interim president of the bank from a date next month.

The President of the Washington-based World Bank is always an American citizen , who nominates the largest shareholder of the Bank America.

8.Maharashtra will host India-youth-sports:-

The preparations for the India-Youth Games have been completed, starting on Wednesday in Pune, Maharashtra. In a press conference in Mumbai, Sports Minister Vinod Tawde of Maharashtra said that 9 thousand players will participate in 18 different events in Under-17 and Under-21 categories. The Sports Minister said that all the stadiums have been improved. Electronic and digital devices have been installed for shooting range. Regarding preparations for nine hundred players of Maharashtra participating in these games, Shri Tawde said that all the players have taken special training for 8 or 15 days as per their respective competitions. He said that financial and structural support will be provided to the winners of Play India so that they can be prepared for the upcoming international tournament.

Describing India as an agitation against Internet addiction, Mr. Tawde appealed to all educational institutions to develop strong sports culture. He said that the state’s participants in the national level competitions will be given five percent reservation in government jobs. He said that open board will be set up soon for students and players of special needs who take part in sports and cultural events throughout the year.

9.BCCI receives award from team India winning Test series in Australia:-

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), who won the Test series for the first time in Australia, congratulated the players of India and announced a reward for them. In the statement issued by the Board, the Board said that every player playing in the last eleven in each match will be given 15-15 lakh rupees and the reserve players will get 7.5 lakh rupees. Apart from this, each coaches will be given 25-25 lakh rupees. The team’s support staff will be given the same bonus as their salary and fees. Committee of Administrators: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announces cash awards after India wins Test series against Australia For all Test team members-Bonuses will be equal to actual match-fee payable, which is Rs.15 lakhs per match for playing XI.

10.The 12th season of the IPL will be held in the country from March 23, good news for fans:-

11.Operation of a portion of Chabahar port came in India’s hands:-

India has taken operational responsibility of a portion of the important Chabahar port from strategic point of view in Iran-Balochistan province in Iran. The Sistan-Baluchistan province is the energy-rich southern province of Iran. This is the first time that India will operate a port outside its borders.

The statement issued by the Ministry of Shipping said, “The Government of India has taken over the operation of a portion of Shahid Beheshti port (Chabahar) in Iran during the meeting of Chabahar Trilateral Agreement held on December 24, 2018.” The India Ports Global Chabahar Free Zone (IPGCFZ) Office of Special Purpose Company (SPV) constituted for this purpose was jointly inaugurated by India, Iran and Afghanistan delegations.
