The PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana , launched at a cost of ₹24,000 crore, will increase agricultural productivity, promote crop diversification and sustainable agricultural practices, improve irrigation facilities, and facilitate access to long-term and short-term credit in selected 100 districts. The Pulse Self-Reliance Mission, costing ₹11,440 crore , was also launched. During the event, the Prime Minister inaugurated projects worth over ₹5,450 crore in the agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries, and food processing sectors and laid the foundation stone for additional projects worth ₹815 crore.

Under the program, 300 Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) students from colleges recognized by the National Commission for Indian Systems of Medicine (NCISM) will receive a scholarship of ₹50,000 (₹25,000 per month for two months). Registration for the program will open on October 15, 2025, and the last date for submission of applications is November 15, 2025.

9 Indian Army launches indigenous ‘Saksham’ anti-drone grid

The Indian Army has fast-tracked the procurement of a new indigenous anti-drone grid to intercept enemy drones . The system includes both soft and hard kill methods to disable drones . This move comes after Operation Sindoor , in which Pakistan sent several drones across the border. The new system is called SAKSHAM (Situational Awareness for Kinetic Soft and Hard Kill Assets Management). It has been developed in collaboration with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and will operate on the Army’s secure data network (ADN). This will provide uniform real-time information on drone movements to all Army units.

This is the first time a human face has been found engraved directly on a pillar , adding an important dimension to the understanding of Neolithic symbolism and self-expression. The discovery, announced in October 2025, is part of the ongoing ” Taş Tepeler ” (Stone Hills) project, which studies the development of sustainable living and spiritual practices in early human societies. The site is located in Turkey’s Şanlıurfa province and is part of several Neolithic sites, including the famous Göbekli Tepe. These sites are characterized by massive T-shaped limestone pillars, believed to symbolize human-like figures. Earlier, only figures of hands and arms were found on these pillars, but this is the first clear carving of a human face.
