1.Fear of severe storms in East and North-East India for next 3-4 days:-

2.The first military exercise on Malaysia’s land till now :-

Joint exercises between the Indian Army and the Malaysian Army began on April 30 in the Wardenbury camp in Kuala Lumpur with a brief and effective delivery of the Harimou Shakti-2018 military ceremony. Take the Commanding Officer of the first Royal Ranger Regiment of Malaysia Army Colonel Irvan Ibrahim welcomed the Indian troop and wished Indian and Malaysian troops to succeed in a successful and mutually beneficial joint practice.

3.Government launches pilot project of 2,500 MW of power purchase for three years :-

The government launched a pilot scheme for purchasing power of 2,500 MW of power for a period of three years under medium term. This scheme is for those power producers whose projects have been started, but the energy purchase agreement has not been entered into with them. Ministry of Power has recently released Model Bidding Form, Model PAPP and Model PPSA on 06th April, 2018. Directions were issued for this scheme on April 10, 2018.

PFC Consulting Limited (wholly-owned subsidiary of PFC Limited) has been appointed as the aggregator of Nodal Agency and PTC India Limited. PTC India will enter into an agreement with power contractors for energy purchases, power purchase agreement for three years (medium term) and power supply companies with power distribution companies.

4.All the villages in the country are connected to the electricity grid as soon as electricity is reached in Leizang village of Manipur :-

Electricity facility has been available in all the villages of the country. The government has said that Leijang village of Manipur district, the deprived Manipur district, was also connected with the National Power Grid on Sunday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that on April 28, 2018, it will be remembered as a historic day in the development of the nation because on this date the government has fulfilled its resolution and this will change the lives of many Indians forever. .

Power Minister RK Singh said that the Prime Minister had promised on 15th August 2015 from the ramparts of the Red Fort that they would connect all the villages with electricity. He said that the government has achieved this target only 12 days before the scheduled time limit.

 

5.Kim Jong, the leader of North Korea, has promised to close the country’s nuclear test site next month :-

North Korea’s leader Kim Jong has said that he will close the country’s nuclear test site next month. According to the President’s Office of South Korea, this announcement of Mr Kim has surfaced after a summit meeting with South Korean President Moon Jain in a border village on Friday. The spokesman said that the test site will be closed in public and specialists from USA and South Korea will be invited to oversee. At the summit, the two leaders had promised that they would work to make the Korean Peninsula completely nuclear free.

Mr. Kim also mentioned his possible meeting with US President Donald Trump. He said that the US president will be assured that his country will not use nuclear weapons against America, South Korea, the Pacific region and the United Kingdom.

6.Britain’s Home Minister Amber Rud resigned on the issue of immigrants :-

Britain’s Home Minister Amber Rud has resigned. He was under pressure to resign on the misdeeds of officers against the long-standing immigrants in the UK. Ms. Rudd was supposed to give a statement in the parliament on this issue.

The Prime Minister’s Office has said that Ms has accepted the resignation of the Home Minister.

 7.India post payment bank will work in the next six to six hundred post offices across the country from next month :-

Union Minister of State for Communication Manoj Sinha has said that around 6,500 branches of the India Postal Payment Bank are likely to start work till next month. In a press conference in Bhopal, Mr. Sinha said that the bank’s integrated system has completed the work and the proceedings of the Reserve Bank of India will be completed in one week.

 

8.Dhoni, who was heavily dependent on young captain, Chennai beat Delhi by 13 runs :-

The 30th match of the IPL 2018 between Chennai and Delhi was played at Pune’s Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium. Dhoni’s experience in this match was huge on Delhi’s young captain Shreyas and Chennai won by 13 runs against Delhi. After this victory, Chennai has now moved to the top of the points table and has scored 12 points. At the same time, Delhi’s team is at the bottom, which is 8th with 4 points.

9.Now the married daughter and brother and sister of the martyrs will get a job :-

Haryana is now preparing to give job to the married daughter of the martyrs and the unmarried martyred brother and sister. So far, there is a provision for job, in the family of a martyr, son, daughter and wife. The Haryana government will soon make amendments in the rules and also provide for the job of the martyr’s blood relative. This step has been taken on the initiative of Chief Minister Manohar Lal.

 10.SEBI has charged 28 companies with capital market bans, wrong trade through fake SMS :-

Market regulator Sebi (Securities and Exchange Board of India) has banned 28 companies from the Capital Market, which would send unauthorized SMS in bulk, in which investors were misled and recommended purchase so that the shares of Kelpa Commercials To accelerate trading volumes.

This order has surfaced in a time when SEBI has received some such complaints saying that some unknown institutions are sending guaranteed returns SMS, thus misusing the investors through unauthorized SMS. After this, SEBI conducted a preliminary inquiry into trading of Kalpa Commercial Limited (KCL) shares between 10 to 18 October 2017. Especially in relation to those bulk sms which were being circulated with suspicious recommendations regarding trading in the firm’s shares. It has been found in the investigation that 28 ‘Connected Units’ (Group) had executed a scheme to offload shares of KCL in an efficient way.

11.SEBI imposes penalty of 3 million on 3 companies :-

Capital market regulator SEBI has imposed a penalty of Rs 35 lakh on three companies today. SEBI has accused these companies of not complying with shareholding disclosure and doing business in Bans Finance shares fraudulently.

Indian Securities and Exchange Board (SEBI) has imposed a penalty of Rs 25 lakh on the precious finance company. At the same time SEBI has imposed a fine of Rs 10 lakh on handful investment and Bans Finance. Based on the internal alert, the regulator also investigated alleged irregularities in Bans Finance Stock Trading and potential violation cases of SEBI norms from November 2010 to September 2011.

As a result of this irregularity, the value of the company’s stock increased by 9.37 rupees to the highest level of Rs 292.60 (crossing the circuit filter limit in all trading days), which is a direct bounce of Rs 283.23. By joining such activities, the firm has violated the provisions of the Regulation of PFUTP (Prohibition of Fraudulent and Unfair Trade Practices).

In addition, SEBI also noted that Handful Invested had acquired more than 5% of the share capital and it needed to give it information to the BSE. However, it failed to disclose the stock exchange.
