1.North Korea will talk to Asian countries on crisis :-

US Defense Minister Jim Matisse has said that he will talk to the Asian countries about the crisis in North Korea.

Matisse’s Asia tour is considered to be quite important a few weeks before the US President Donald Trump’s first Asian tour.

Matisse will meet the Philippine defense chief during his visit. Apart from this, he will also go to Thailand and South Korea.

 

2.A total of 802 candidates have filed papers for the first phase elections in Nepal :-

A total of 802 candidates have filed papers for the first phase of parliamentary and assembly elections in Nepal. The candidates will be able to withdraw their names by Wednesday. In the first phase, 32 districts will go to polls on November 26.

Nomination letters will be filled on November 2 for remaining 45 districts. The second and final phase will be held on December 7.

According to the new constitution of Nepal, it is necessary to conduct local, provincial and parliamentary elections by January 21 next year.

 

3.Myanma-Sushma Swaraj withdraws recently refugees in Bangladesh :-

India has said that the recently arrived refugees in Bangladesh should take back Myanmar. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said at a press conference that normalcy should be restored by returning displaced people in the Restrain province.

Smt. Swaraj said that India is concerned about the situation of violence in Myanmar kept in the province.

 

4.Violation of ceasefire on behalf of Pakistan continues for the third day :-

In Jammu and Kashmir, on the third day in the Uri sector, there was continuous firing by Pakistani soldiers, due to which schools had to be closed in the affected areas. On behalf of India, a good answer is being given to this Himalayas.

An army official said that the precautionary measures have been taken to close six schools near the LoC.

 

5.Winter session of Haryana and Rajasthan assembly begins :-

Winter session of Haryana and Rajasthan assembly begins. There is a possibility that the three-day session in Haryana is likely to be a ruckus. The opposition will bring the adjournment motion on the issue of cancellation of Dadupur-Nalvi Canal project, law and order situation and issue of millet farmers problems.

In Rajasthan, the Vidhan Sabha session is commencing.

During the session, the recent Criminal Law Amendment Bill, 2013 will be presented in the House.

 

6.Approval of about four hundred ITIs :-

The government has ended the recognition of nearly four hundred industrial training institutes- ITI.

In these institutes, the lack of basic amenities and training required to provide vocational training to the students was found.

Rajesh Aggarwal, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Skill and Entrepreneurship Development said that to get ITI status for any institution, it is necessary to follow some minimum conditions.

 

7.Air India will negotiate with suppliers to cut spending :-

Government Aviation Company Air India is going to review some of the existing contracts with its suppliers to cut spending.

The company’s chief, Rajiv Bansal has prepared a special workforce to formulate strategies before talking to the suppliers.

Bansal is already working to reduce expenses and correct operations on time.

 

8.Air travel facility can not be found if the tickets are not confirmed in Rajdhani Express :-

If passengers of Rajdhani Express AC and AC 2 tickets are not confirmed then they will be able to travel to reach their destination. Ashwani Lohani, former Air India chairman, had suggested this in the past summer but the railway board did not give any positive response to it.

After becoming Chairman of the Railway Board, Lohani once again asked to give the green signal to the scheme. Lohani said that if Air India comes to us with this proposal, then we will accept it.

Talking about this plan, Lohani said that due to the huge demand in the Railways, the AC 2 tickets of the capital are unconcerned almost every day. All the passengers who will not be confirmed on the last day of the ticket will share all the information with Air India.

After this, Air India will offer the passengers on a nominal compatitative rate to travel in air.

 

9.Need to organize GST freshly- Revenue Secretary :-

Revenue Secretary Hasmukh Adriya has said that small and medium businesses need to reorganize it to reduce the burden of goods and services tax.

He said that GST, which has been implemented as a single tax with many central and state taxes, will take about a year to get stagnant.

Shri Adriya said that if the government feels that it is burdening the small and medium businesses and the common people, then its rate will be reduced.

 

10.Brazil reach FIFA U-17 World Cup semi-finals :-

In the second half with the help of two goals scored at six-minute intervals Brazil has taken place in the semi-finals of the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2-1 to Germany.

Germany made an edge in the 21st minute of the match Jan Fiette Arp, on penalties. After this, he retained his lead for the next 50 minutes.

Vevrsn from Brazil scored the goal of the match in the 71st minute while the decisive goal Palinho in the 77th minute. Brazil will face England in the first semi-final to be held in Guwahati on October 25.

 

11.Kidambi Srikanth wins Denmark Open Super Series Badminton title :-

Kidambi Srikanth has won the Denmark Open Super Series Badminton title.

In Odense, Srikanth beat Lee Yun-Il of South Korea 21-10, 21-5 in straight set.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Srikanth on his glorious victory.
