1.Postponed due to both the House of Parliament dissension :-

The proceedings of the two Houses of Parliament were adjourned for two o’clock on different issues. In the Lok Sabha, the Congress member started demanding resignation of the Minister of State for Skill Development Anant Kumar Hegde for allegedly commenting on the constitution. Members of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti came to the center of the House demanding a High Court in Telangana. Between the noise, Chairman Sumitra Mahajan suspended the proceeding till two o’clock.

Earlier, Shiv Sena member Arvind Sawant raised the issue of meeting members of Kulbhushan’s family in Islamabad on Monday and said that religious beliefs of family members were insulted. Congress MP Mallikarjun Kharge and Trinamool Congress member Prof. Saugata Roy also had the same opinion. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said that she will answer this issue tomorrow.

 

2.India said- Kulbhushan Jadhav’s family abused in Pakistan :-

India has alleged that the family of Kulbhushan Jadhav was abused in Pakistan and in the matter of meeting, there has been a behavior against mutual consent. India has said that during the meeting with family members in strict control, Jadhav was persecuted and looked very under pressure. Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravish Kumar said that even Mangalsutra, bangles and bindi of Jadhav’s mother and wife were taken before the meeting. Despite repeated requests after the meeting, Jadhav’s wife’s sandals were not returned to him. He said that Jadhav was also prevented from talking to his mother in mother tongue.

Mr. Kumar informed that Jadhav’s statement issued from Pakistan was given in a concrete and under pressure. He only said what he was taught to say so that the story of Pakistan’s alleged espionage can be justified in Pakistan.

 

3.Dineshwar Sharma, special interlocutor on Jammu Kashmir, is visiting Jammu :-

Dineshwar Sharma, special interlocutor on Jammu and Kashmir, is visiting Jammu today. On the third day of the state visit Shri Sharma can meet Governor NN Vohra and chief minister Mehbooba Mufti. He was in Kashmir for the last two days, where he visited the districts of Kupwara and Baramulla and met more than 60 delegations.

 

4.Russia and China have emphasized the need to make a peaceful solution to the tensions arising out of nuclear missile activities in North Korea :-

Russia and China expressed a desire to make peaceful settlement of the tensions arising from nuclear and ballistic missile activities in North Korea on Monday.

Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told the government media that no one wants a war on the Korean Peninsula. They expressed the hope that the US is not planning any kind of military action to resolve this crisis.

China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman said in a press briefing that all countries should exercise restraint and make an active and constructive effort to overcome the tension on the peninsula.

 

5.External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will make a statement on the issue of Kulbhushan Jadhav in Parliament :-

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will give a statement in the parliament on the issue of Jadhav. Indian citizen Jadhav is in custody in Pakistan for alleged espionage Jadhav’s mother and wife met him on Monday in Pakistan.

India had said that in the way Jadhav’s family members were mixed with it, it is clear that the details of false and unproven statements about their alleged activities were prepared. India expressed anguish over Pakistan’s method of arranging a meeting.

 

6.Pakistan Army near the Line of Control in Rajouri district of Jammu Kashmir today again violated ceasefire :-

In the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, the Pakistani army violated the ceasefire again near the Line of Control. Defense sources told Akashwani that at around nine o’clock in the morning on behalf of Pakistan, there were unprovoked targets in Indian posts in Naushera sector. Indian soldiers also responded to Pakistani firing. Firing from both sides lasted about an hour. There is no news of any casualties on behalf of Indian side.

President Ramnath Kovind today inaugurated the Conference of the Indian Economic Union. This conference is being organized in Acharya Nagarjun University campus near Guntur in Andhra Pradesh. The President said that there is a need to create an imaginative policy to overcome inequality in society.

 

8.After the order of the Supreme Court, the Tripura government issued a dismissal letter to about 10,000 teachers with irregularities in the recruitment process :-

In Tripura, the School Education Department has issued orders for dismissal of about ten thousand government teachers for irregularities in their appointment. These teachers have been removed after the order of the Supreme Court. Our correspondent has reported that ad hoc appointments have been issued to the sacked teachers.

 

9.Talks started between striking doctors and state government in Rajasthan :-

After the 12-day strike of physicians in Rajasthan, the talks between striking doctors and the state government began today. Our correspondent has said that State Health Minister Kalicharan Sarraf and some other ministers and senior officials interacted with the representatives of the serving and resident doctors. State president of the serving doctor union, Ajay Chaudhary, immediately before the start said that he has handed over the seven point-of-demand demand letter to the government on which the government agrees.

After the doctors’ strike, after the widespread impact of health services across the state, both the doctors and the government were under pressure to solve this problem. The High Court also directed the hearing of this case to take action against the striking doctors under the rules. Before the talks began, a positive attitude was expressed by both parties.

 

10.The Central Government’s team is taking stock of the damage caused by cyclonic storm ‘Okhi’ on Kochi coast :-

The central team of the Home Ministry is reviewing the damage caused by cyclonic storm ‘Oki’ on Kochi coast today. Before visiting the affected areas, the team met the district collector and other officials. The team took note of the current situation in the coastal areas and the steps taken to reduce the difficulties of natural disaster.

 

11.In the grip of cold wave in northern part of the country, down from mercury deposition point in Kashmir and Himachal :-

Cold wave continues in the northern parts of the country. In the Kashmir Valley, mercury has gone down several degrees from the accumulation point and temperatures in areas like Kilang in Himachal Pradesh were recorded at zero to eight point six degrees below.

Kargil was the coldest place in Jammu Kashmir where mercury remained at minus 15 degrees Celsius below four degrees Celsius. In Punjab, the minimum temperature in Adampur was three to seven degrees Celsius. In Hisar, Haryana was the coldest place with a temperature of six degrees one degree Celsius.

In many areas of Delhi, Delhi Our correspondent has reported that the minimum temperature in Muzaffarnagar of Uttar Pradesh was recorded at three point four degrees Celsius.

 

12.First flight coming from Kabul to Mumbai will start :-

The first flight coming from Kabul to Mumbai will start. Officials said that it would be the second air route to carry luggage from Afghanistan and India between the aircraft. The first such air connectivity route from Kabul to New Delhi was started in June. Atikula Nusrat, Chief Executive Officer of Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce said that in today’s flight, fresh fruits of 40 tonnes will be sent from Kabul.
