    1. Prime Minister dedicates the Bansagar canal project to the nation in Mirzapur :-

    Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today dedicated the Bansagar Canal Project to the nation in Mirzapur. This project will promote irrigation in the area and it will prove beneficial for the farmers of Uttar Pradesh’s Mirzapur and Allahabad districts. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Mirzapur Medical College. He also inaugurated 100 public drug centers in the state. He also dedicated a bridge on river Ganga in Balucha in Chunar, which would facilitate contact between Mirzapur and Varanasi. Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said that the unlimited capacity in the area of Mirzapur was hidden. He summoned his last visit to Mirzapur with the French President Marron for the inauguration of the solar plant. The Prime Minister mentioned various development projects and works of which he has either inaugurated or laid the foundation stone during the last two days.

     

    1. Home Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated India’s largest Visa center in Dhaka :-

    Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who arrived in Bangladesh on a three-day official visit, inaugurated this Visa Center in Dhaka. This visa office of India with state-of-the-art facilities has been built in the commercial area of 18,500 square feet in Jamuna Future Park in Dhaka. On the occasion of inauguration of Visa Center, Mr. Singh provided a Bangladeshi citizen with five years of Multiple Entry Visa to India. Along with this, he also announced to withdraw the existing e-token system for visa application.

    For the third ODI between India and England, the England team has made a change to one of their teams. This series of three ODI matches is currently 1-1, and James Vinans has been replaced by David Malan in the English team for this deciding ODI match. Malan has been released from the national team to join the England Lions team. England Lions play four-day matches against India A Malan can be thrown in the middle for the England Lions.

    1. Indian economy will become $ 10 trillion a decade :-

    Economic Affairs Secretary Subhash Chandra Garg has expressed the hope that the size of the Indian economy would reach $ 10 trillion by the year 2030 (about $ 670 million in current dollar terms ). On Saturday, he said that the Indian economy is in the stage of “take-off” and the year 2030 to 10 is set to become the third largest economy in the world with the size of Tilian dollars. According to Garg, there are many positive things happening in the Indian economy and on the economic front the country is heading towards better days. He said , ” Indian economy is ready to fly and Indian citizens can raise their heads in the right way.” At the Platinum Jubilee celebration of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, Garg said , “For four decades after independence, the economy of the country has increased by barely 3.5 percent growth rate. But today our scale is of seven to eight percent growth rate.

     

    1. Sebi seeks strict rules for auditors :-

    Capital market regulator SEBI is in the process of tightening rules for auditors and other valuators appointed by companies listed for auditing and other activities of financial results. In this direction, SEBI has proposed amendments to tighten the rules. Within 30 days of the draft, the opinions of the relevant parties have been sought. Due to the flaws in auditing many years, many forgery do not come under hold. The 14,000 crore rupee scam in Punjab National Bank (PNB), the country’s second largest lender , could not even hold for many years due to lack of auditing. Looking at this, we are working towards deciding the responsibilities of the regulatory auditors from the Reserve Bank. SEBI Board of Directors of the company in its proposal recommended to the right , so that he violate any law , to take the appropriate action after the investigation against the auditor or auditing company that false certificate or report. Merchant bankers , credit rating agencies ,Custodians etc. are registered in SEBI. All these units are bound by SEBI rules. The amended law for auditors to make it mandatory that they issued certificates or reports , they are perfect in every approach. Auditors will be responsible for the violation when they come in contact with the company’s audit committee or compliance officer to report it in writing.

     

    1. President addressed Shiromani Kabir manifesto in Fatehabad :-

    President Shri Ram Nath Kovind took part in the Shiromani Kabir manifestation ceremony and addressed him at Fatehabad, Haryana today (July 15, 2018). This event was organized by Dhanak Sabha, Fatehabad and Sant Kabir Dhank Social Welfare Welfare Association, Haryana. Speaking on the occasion, His Excellency said that Saint Kabir was a great social reformer. They showed the path of equality and harmony. The President expressed his happiness that Shiromani Kabir manifestation of the day is being organized in every district of Haryana so that people can be made aware of the teachings of Saint Kabir. The President said that the monsoon session of parliament and state assemblies will start soon. He hoped that MPs and MLAs would carry forward their work through their discussions and dialogues.

In the six-nation tournament in Belgium in Antwerp of Belgium, the Indian junior women’s hockey team also performed brilliantly tomorrow to beat Ireland 4-1 in the inaugural match of the Under-23 category. India’s Saurabh Chaudhary won the gold medal in the men’s 10 meter air pistol event in the Hopes Junior International Shooting Championship in Plzen of Czech Republic on Saturday.
