2.Prime Minister Modi to address National Conference on ‘Vigilance’ on 27 October:-The activities of this conference will focus on vigilance related topics. It is to make people aware and to reinforce India’s resolve of identity and integrity in public life with the participation of citizens. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the National Conference on Vigilance and Anti-Corruption on 27 October 2020 during Vigilance Awareness Week. Prime Minister Modi will address the program at 5 pm and its webcast will be live. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present on this occasion.

3.Indigenous vaccine of Corona virus to be launched by June 2021: Bharat Biotech:-The Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) has approved the third phase trial of this vaccine to the company. The Hyderabad-based company had applied to DCGI on October 2 to seek permission for the third phase of its vaccine testing. Researches are being developed worldwide to develop the vaccine of corona virus. Meanwhile, the Indian company Bharat Biotech is working on the indigenous corona virus vaccine ‘Covaxin’. At the same time, the company says that this indigenous vaccine of Corona virus is likely to be launched by June 2021.

India Posts releases 75th Anniversary of UN Commemorative Stamp:- Department of Posts (DOP), Ministry of Communications released a commemorative postage stamp on the 75th anniversary of the United Nations Organisations.External Affairs Ministry spokesperson, Anurag Srivastava stated India attaches the highest priority to the expansion of the UN Security Council so that it reflects contemporary realities of the world.He stated reformed multilateralism will be a key pillar of the overall approach in the upcoming innings of India as a non-permanent member. It may be noted that the Department of Posts has previously released similar commemorative postage stamps on the UN’s 9th, 40th, and 50th Anniversaries in 1954, 1985, and 1995 respectively.
