2.Indian Railways to create a new area under the name of Southern Coast Railway:-A new area will be created in the name of Southern Railway Railway in Indian Railways. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal told reporters in New Delhi this information. He said that this 18th Regional Headquarters will be in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. This area will have Guntakal, Guntur and Vijayawada divisions, which are now within the limits of South Central Railway. Shri Goyal said that the South Central Railway will now have Hyderabad, Sinkarabad and Nanded Division. According to the internal assessment of railway, the cost of raising infrastructure for new area will be more than Rs. 200 crores. Operations of Indian Railways are now divided into 17 areas and each division has many divisions. Each division has a headquarters. There is currently a total of 73 Division of Railways. Seven new areas and eight new divisions were created in the year 2002 and 2003.

3.Prime Minister Modi launches India app:-Prime Minister Narendra Modi launches ‘Play India’ app in VigyanBhavan. This app has been developed by the Sports Authority of India, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. The use of this app can be used to explore various sports venues, their availability, rules of the game and fitness of any person in the country besides other tasks.

4.Hanoi failed to reach any formal agreement in Summit, USA and North Korea:-The USA and North Korea have failed to reach any formal agreement at Hanoi Summit. After the talks, US President Donald Trump told reporters that negotiations ended without any agreement. Mr. Trump told that he has refused to accept North Korea’s demand to remove all international sanctions.

5.Boxing: One gold, five silver medals for India at Makran Cup:-

National champion Deepak Singh was the lone Indian boxer to notch up a gold while five others claimed silver medals in the Makran Cup in Chabahar, Iran. Deepak (49-kilogram) defeated JaafarNaseri in the finals held last night.
However, none of the other five Indian finalists could win their summit clashes. Finishing second on the podium were P Lalitha Prasad (52kg), Commonwealth Games silver-medallist Manish Kaushik (60kg), Duryodhan Singh Negi (69kg), Sanjeet (91kg) and Commonwealth Games silver-medallist Satish Kumar (91kg). Manish, also a national champion, lost to Danial Shah Baksh, while Satish was beaten by Mohammad Mlias. Sanjeet, a gold-medallist at the India Open last year, went down to EldinGhossoun in his final bout. Prasad could not put it past Omid SafaAhmedi and settled for the second position. Duryodhan lost to SajjadZadehKezim in the welterweight final.Earlier, RohitTokas (64kg) and Manjeet Singh Panghal (75kg) lost in the semifinals to sign off with bronze medals.

6.Australia urges India, Pakistan to exercise restraint:-Australia has urged India and Pakistan to exercise restraint and avoid further military action.
Australian Foreign Affairs Minister Marise Payne said she is very concerned about the escalating tensions between the two countries. Earlier on Tuesday, the foreign minister had clearly asked Pakistan to take urgent and meaningful action against terrorist groups in its territory including Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).

7.AYUSH Minister to lay foundation stone for National Institute of Unani Medicine:-AYUSH Minister Shripad Yesso Naik will lay foundation stone of National Institute of Unani Medicine, NIUM at Ghaziabad on Friday.An official release said, once established, the 200-bedded hospital will be one of the largest institutes of Unani Medicine in North India.
The institute is an extension of the existing NIUM at Bengaluru. NIUM, Ghaziabad will be developed on a 10-acre area, costing about 300 crore rupees. Besides providing healthcare services, it will have facilities for quality research and education at the postgraduate and PhD levels.

8.Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will dedicate Rs. 2995 crore projects to the nation in Tamil Nadu and lay the foundation for highway projects:- Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will dedicate five projects of Rs. 2995 crore in Kanyakumari to the nation and will lay the foundation for National Highway projects. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate a road safety park and transport museum.Prime Madurai , Sivaganga and Ramanathapuram districts NH -87 ( old NH-49) of Madurai-Ramanathapuram section two / four-lane highway , the NH-47 Marthandm in Kanyakumari district and a flyover at Parvatipuram Junction , and NH -44 ( Kanyakumari section from Pangudi of Old NH-7 and Narikulam Tank of Kanyakumari district will dedicate the four-lane highway to the nation.Shri Modi will lay the foundation for the four-lane highway on the Madurai-Chettikulam-Natham section of NH-785 in Madurai and Dindigaldistricts.These projects will benefit the local public. This will reduce pollution , faster and safer travel , travel time will be saved and save fuel.
