1.Prime Minister Modi will launch development projects in Uttar Pradesh:-
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch several development projects in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi, Kanpur and Ghaziabad districts. With the release of 660 Mw of power generation and distribution unit of Modi Panki Power Plant, the house will also be given to the beneficiaries of the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme. Prime Minister will inaugurate Metro’s Dilshad Garden-Shaheed Site and Hinden Airport Civil Terminal in Ghaziabad.

4.President Kovind to give Women Power Award on International Women’s Day:-

This year the award will be given to a state which has shown remarkable progress in child ratio, under one forest stop center and “Beti Bachao Beti Practice” scheme. 5.Dinesh Dagar beats former Olympic medallist:-

6.Railway will construct 4000 MW power by installing solar panels on track, further up to 20 thousand MW of plan:-
Going forward on the target of green energy, Indian Railways has prepared an ambitious plan for solar energy production.Under this, he will install a solar panel on a large scale along the railway track. The intention of the Railways is to make all the power of its own needs and use solar panels for it.Initially, the Railways will produce 4000 MW of solar power. For this, under the ‘Make in India’ scheme, an investment scheme of Rs 18,000 crore is being prepared. Gradually it will be expanded so that ultimately 20 thousand MW of electricity can be produced through solar energy. Now the Railways consumes about 2000 MW of electricity annually. Which cost about 10 thousand crore rupees. As a result of complete electrification in next four years, it is likely to increase to two times.According to highly placed sources, all the companies from India and abroad will be included in this project. But in the terms of the tender, the condition of the use of fixed percent Indian equipments and accessories will be included with ‘Make in India’. This means that even if a foreign company does not manufacture entire solar panels in India, they can be eligible for the project using select Indian components.
Tender will be invited for the project to produce 2000-2000 MW solar power for about ten states in two phases. Solar Energy Corporation (SECI), the nodal agency for procuring solar panels of government, will issue these tender. In the first phase, tender will be sought for Punjab, Haryana, West Bengal, Rajasthan and Odisha. In the second phase, the states of South India like Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu will be included.An official of the Ministry of Railways said that after the full electrification of the railway by the cabinet in September last year, it has become necessary for us to generate our own electricity. The electrification decision has been taken from the objective objective. With this, the cost of energy will increase with the speed of trains and simultaneous closure of diesel will also make the environment clean. Right now, about 67 thousand route kilometers in the track, 31 thousand route kilometers, that is, 46 percent of the track is electrified. Due to this, consumption of two billion 80 million liters of diesel is consumed. With the closure of electrification by 2022, it is estimated to be saving of 14 thousand crores annually. Now the railways have to pay 8-10 rupees for one unit of electricity. These costs will be reduced to 3-4 per unit from own solar power generation.
