Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release a commemorative coin in honor of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna, Atal Bihari Vajpayee in New Delhi. Culture Minister Dr Mahesh Sharma will also be present on this occasion.the birth anniversary of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be celebrated as a good governance day. Mr Vajpayee died on August 16 this year after a long illness at 93 years of age.
2.Ready, the longest bridge in the country, trains will run with trains:-
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the longest and the second longest railroad bridge bridge in Asia, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, which is on the Brahmaputra river yesterday. This bridge connects the Brahmaputra river to the north and the south shores. On the occasion of Good Governance Day, which will be celebrated on 25th December of Vaazeepi, the countrymen will get it. The foundation stone of this bridge was laid in 1997 by then Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, but its construction was started in April 2002. At that time the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had laid the foundation stone with Railway Minister Nitish Kumar.The length of this Bogibi bridge, built on the Brahmaputra river in the state of Assam, is 4.94 km. This bridge connects the Dibrugarh district on the southern bank of the river to the seal gate of Dhemaji district, which is situated from the border of Arunachal Pradesh. After the bridge is built, it will be easy to reach the border of Arunachal Pradesh from China.5800 crores will cost Rs. 5800 crores cost
Chief Engineer Mohinder Singh said that the estimated cost of Baigibel bridge on Brahmaputra river at 17 Kms from Dibrugarh city is 5800 crores. This bridge has been constructed with state-of-the-art technology. Due to its construction, railway lines on the southern and northern sides of the Brahmaputra will be connected. Dhamal village and Tanjani railway stations, which are present on the southern edge of the Brahmaputra along with the bridge have also been prepared.
3.Cabinet to expend Cabinet, 23 new ministers to be sworn:-
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will expand the cabinet in Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh will take the oath of office and secrecy to the ministers. Our correspondent has said that the swearing-in ceremony will be held in the Raj Bhavan of Jaipur on the eleventh hour of the day.Today, 23 ministers are likely to be sworn in , in which names of 13 cabinet and 10 minister of state are considered almost certain. According to sources, 17 of these faces will be first ministers To be made a minister of Rand MLA Subhash Garg from Bharatpur is being considered , besides Kanti Dhariwal , V. D. Kalla , Raghu Sharma , Lal Chandra Kataria and Prashdililal Meena , Jitendra Singh , Pramod Jain Bhaya and Master Bhanwarlal Meghwal are being considered as the names of those who take oath.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said that like India, no country is tolerant in the whole world. Bypassing all allegations of intolerance in the country, Shri Singh said that tolerance in Indians can not be found in any corner of the world. On the occasion of a ceremony of King George Medical College in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, he said that people of different religions are united in the country. He said that Islam is a different opinion of religion in the country. They have contributed to making the country strong , self-sufficient and prosperous and will continue to do so.

5.Patrick Shanahan will be new Defense Minister in place of James Mattis in USA:-
U.S. President Donald Trump has said that in place of Defense Minister Jim Matisse, Defense Deputy Minister Patrick Shanhon will take charge of Defense from January 1. President Trump had announced the removal of Mr Matis two months before the resignation. Mr. Trump said in a tweet that the services of Mr. Patrick as the Deputy Minister of Defense have been commendable. Defense Minister Jim Matisz announced his resignation on Thursday about differences with President Trump.

India’s 20- year-old Vedangi Kulkarni has become the fastest Asian woman to cross the world from cycles in 159 days. Vedangi set a standard distance of 29 thousand kilometers by running cycling in Kolkata. He started this journey from Perth in July. Vedangai traveled 14 countries.
7.Bajrang and Vineesh emerged as the new stars of Indian wrestling:-
The year 2018 for Indian wrestling was spectacular, with Bajrang Poonia and Vinesh Phogat emerging as the new stars of the game with historic medals, Olympic medal wrestlers like Sushil Kumar and Sakshi Malik were struggling to get the rhythm.
The good news for the wrestlers was that before the year ended, the National Federation brought about 150 players under the contract system. This is the first time that Indian wrestlers got a central contract from the federation.
Bajrang and Vineesh, performing the whole year along with winning medals, was even more spectacular. In less than two years from their performance, in the Olympic Games in Tokyo, the winner has won the first gold medal for India.

Prime Minister Modi will dedicate the new campus of Indian Institute of Technology , Bhubaneswar, to the nation , built by one thousand six hundred and sixty crores . They will also inaugurate the ESIIC Hospital at a cost of Rs. 73 crores 50 lacs in Bhubaneswar.Shri Modi will also launch the Lalitagiri Archaeological Museum. Prime Minister IIT will issue memorial coins and postage stamps in memory of the Pekka revolt at a function organized in Bhubaneswar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a gathering on the land of Khordha. This program is part of the call of new India Shining from their predecessor.
9.Radiant Life Care will take over Max Healthcare:-
Merger of Max Healthcare and Radiant Life has been approved. Radiant Life will be merged into Health Care Business Max Health and after this, a new company of Rs 7,242 crore will come into existence. The new company will be listed after the merger. Radiant Health will buy 49.7 percent of the Max HealthKKR will hold the majority of the deal with many chain of transactions, while Radiant Life Care promoter Abhay Sowi will lead the joint company. The promoters of Max Healthcare, who are led by Aniljit Singh, will step down.”Combination of Radiant and Max Healthcare will create the largest hospital network of North India, which will be one of the top three hospital networks in terms of revenues and the fourth hospital network in India in terms of operating beds,” the company said in its joint statement”. “This acquisition will be done through the chain of transactions, including the purchase of a 49.7 percent stake in Radiant Max Healthcare from a hospital operator based in South Africa, Life Healthcare, which will be completely in cash.” As part of the deal, Max India will merge its non-health businesses, which are made up of Max Bupa and End Senior Living, into a wholly-owned subsidiary of Max India. Their shares will be listed on different BSE and NSE.
