1.Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Lok Sabha elections. D.A. Started campaign in Patna :-Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday began campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections for the National Democratic Alliance in Bihar’s Patna. In a resolution rally in Gandhi Maidan, Shri Modi said that the Center and Bihar government are working together for the development of the state. He said that all departments including Roads, Railways and Aviation Areas are working. The Prime Minister said – NDA wants to ensure that the best facilities in all sections of Bihar are accessible.

On the Congress demand of recent air strikes in Balakot, Pakistan, the Prime Minister raised the question of why the Opposition and its allies are demolishing the morale of the army and giving reasons why the enemy is taking advantage.

In this rally, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar appreciated the Prime Minister’s objective of development. He said that Janta Dal United and Bharatiya Janata Party reconnected for the welfare of the people.

“The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of the various projects, including the construction of roads, health centers and hospitals, buses, central schools and power sub centers. The most important work involves the construction of Indo-Russian rifle guns in Ordynsh Factory in Murshiganj area. According to defense experts, after joining the army of these rifles, the firepower of our soldiers will be greatly increased, and this will create employment opportunities for a large number of people here. ”

3.China welcomes decision on US tariff hike on commodities coming from ChinaChina has welcomed the decision of the United States in which it has postponed the decision to increase the import duty on commodities coming from China. Both countries are continuously negotiating to remove the impasse in the mutual trade.

The Customs Commission of China has said that they have received a message from the Trade Representative Office of USA, which states that the import duty on goods coming from China will be up to 10 percent till the next order. Earlier, the US had announced import duty on goods coming from China to 25 percent, which was to be implemented from January 1.

4.IRCTC launches payment aggregator IPA, know big things :-In order to promote digital transactions, Indian Rail and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) launched its Aggregator System ‘IRCTC IPE’ on Thursday. IRCTC said in a statement that with this special IP, the passengers would have better experience of online digital transaction facilities in the travel related services through the website.

IRCTC said, “IRCTC will not require any third party platform from the launch of IPP. IRCTC offers payment by way of options like credit card, debit card and unified payment interface, international card.”

IRCTC prepaid cards will also be available for low cost valet and auto debit. Under this arrangement, IRCTC will have full control over the payment system, as it will have direct linkage with banks, card networks and other partners.

This will reduce the distance between IRCTC and banks, which will reduce the payment failures. IRCTC said that as the IP addresses are easier for passengers and easier to use, the faith will be even more intense.

5.Reserve Bank can cut interest rates in April :-At the end of the week, there was a slight increase in the stock market due to the tension between India and Pakistan. According to the CSO data, GDP growth in the December quarter was only 6.6%. It also revised the figures for June and September quarter. In January, the core sector growth recorded at least 1.8% in 19 months. Growth rate is expected to decline in the current financial year  Figures indicate that the Reserve Bank can cut interest rates in April.

Relief given to the real estate industry, it is cheaper by upto 6%
GST Council has given great relief to the real estate industry by reducing the tax rate on undercurrent property. It has reduced the rate of tax from 12% to 5%. Tax rate for Affordable Housing has also been reduced from 8% to 1%. With this, buying a house for people can be up to 6% cheaper.

Mutual funds will now be able to trade in commodity derivatives too.
SEBI has strictly evaluated the method of valuation for liquid mutual funds. This decision has been taken in the wake of crisis like IL & FS. Apart from this, the company has been exempted from the open offer to purchase the insolvency process. In its board meeting, SEBI decided to allow mutual funds to trade in commodity derivatives.

7.Hangzhou Asian Games will be back in cricket in 2022, IOA welcomes decision :-Cricket has been included in the Hangzhou Asian Games 2022sports event. This decision was taken at the meeting of the General Assembly of the Asian Olympic Council (OCA) on Sunday.

OCA Vice President Randhir Singh said that cricket has been included in Hangzhou Asian Games 2022. Cricket had got place in the 2010 and 2014 Asian Games, but due to India’s absence, it was removed from Asian Games 2018, which was held in Indonesia. India had refused to take part in citing a busy schedule and participated in it. Indian Olympic Association (IOA) welcomed OCA’s decision.
