1.Prime Minister Narendra Modi launches various development projects in Karnataka:-Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday launched various development projects in Karnataka. At a function held in Kumburgi, Shri Modi dedicated the ESC Medical and Medical College in Bangalore to the nation. The Prime Minister inaugurated the KIMS Super Specialty Block in Hubli. These projects will ensure quality and affordable healthcare for the people of the state. Prime Minister interacted with the beneficiaries of Ayushman India in Calaburgi.

Prime Minister also dedicated a hostel to the students of the North-Eastern region through digital arrangement. He laid the foundation stone of Bharat Petroleum Depot in Kaluburgi. He said that many projects had not been completed for many years since the previous government , they have now been completed by the present government.

Prime Minister will attend an official function near Chennai on Wednesday evening. This program has been organized near Chennai suburb of Wandalur. Mr. Modi will also hold discussions with the beneficiaries of the health insurance scheme of India, with the foundation stone of many schemes. Our correspondent has said that the prime minister will dedicate some key infrastructure projects to the nation.

2.World Bank will provide US $ 250 million to the National Rural Economic Transformation Project:-The World Bank will provide US $ 25 million to the National Rural Economic Transformation Project for the increase in income of rural women in 13 states of the country. An agreement was signed in this regard in New Delhi on Tuesday.

The World Bank has said that this loan will help women in the village to enter enterprises for agriculture and non-agricultural products. The main objective of this project is to help women reach business, finance, market and increase employment.

Government launched a scheme to provide financial assistance for transport and marketing of agricultural products.

The Government has started a scheme to provide financial assistance for transportation and marketing of agricultural products. This scheme has been launched with the aim of boosting exports of agricultural products to Europe, North America and some other countries. Transport and Marketing Assistance Scheme- Under the T & MA, the government will assist in the marketing of agricultural products along with paying a portion of freight rates.

The Ministry of Commerce has said that for the time being, this scheme will be applicable in the case of exports made from March 1, 2019 to March, 2020. Financial assistance for different areas will be different. It can only be approved for exports made through electronic data interchange i.e. EDI ports.

Experts appreciated the plan and said that this decision of the government will help in promoting the export of agricultural products from India.

4.India nominated policy commissioner member Ramesh Chand for the head of Sanra Agricultural Organization:-India has nominated Policy Commission Member and Agricultural Economist Ramesh Chand for the leadership of United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization.

Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) issued a statement on Monday and said that the names of five candidates for the post of Director General from FAO member countries have been given.

The FAO Conference will be selected for the top post of agency in the 41st session to be held between 22-29 June, 2019 in Rome. The FAO’s new Director General will have a tenure of four years.

The last date for nomination was February 28. In addition to India till the last date, the governments of Cameroon, China, France and Georgia have nominated their candidates.

5.What is the Prime Minister’s Labor Yogi Yojana, everything you want to know:-Prime Minister Narendra Modi launches the PM Labor Yogi Mansa scheme on Tuesday. This is a pension scheme which will benefit the workers of the unorganized sector.

It is known that the PM-SYM scheme has been made effective in all states from February 15, 2019. This is for unorganized workers who have a monthly income of Rs 15,000 and have a savings account with a base number in the bank.

The scheme will be supervised by the Ministry of Labor and Employment and it will be implemented through the Life Insurance Corporation of India and CSC E-Governance Services India Limited (CSC SPV). LIC will be the pension fund manager in this and will be responsible for the payment of pension. The amount raised under the PM-SYM Pension Scheme will be invested in accordance with the instructions given by the Government of India.

PM-SYM is a voluntary and contributory scheme under which the subscriber will be given a monthly pension of Rs. 3,000 from the age of 60 years.

In this, the amount of contributions from the Subscriber has been fixed from Rs 55 to Rs 200 per month, however, depending on his age, which is 18 to 40 years depending on it. If the subscriber leaves the scheme then the entire contribution made by him will be refunded.

If, in such a situation, the subscriber is not able to contribute consistently, he will still be allowed to contribute with the remaining amount. However, the subscriber has to pay a penalty as well.

This scheme facilitates premature withdrawal. If a customer exits the plan within a period of less than 10 years then the beneficiary’s contribution will be returned only with the savings bank interest rate.

6.India beat Australia by eight runs in second ODI:-India defeated Australia by eight runs in the second ODI in Nagpur on Tuesday.

Australia needed 251 runs to win but the team was reduced to 242 runs. The hosts needed eleven runs to win in the last over, but winning the Indian team by taking two wickets in the final over of the bowlers Vijay Shankar.

India’s overall victory in this ODI is 500th.

Marcus Stoenis has scored 52 runs from most of Australia.

India were dismissed by 250 runs in 48.2 overs. Kohli scored 116 runs for the team.India has made a 2-0 lead in the five-match series. The third match will be played in Ranchi on Friday.
