2.Aircraft will fly at a height like a drone, help to dispense medicines in inaccessible places:-The students of IIT Aero Space have created an Unmanned Vehicle (UAV) which will work as drones and aircraft. This vehicle is special because it will fly from the ground like a drone, but will be automatically converted to aircraft at a certain height.

This vehicle of IIT Kanpur has been selected for the performance in the country’s largest Air India show organized in Bangalore. Dr. Abhishek and Mangal Kothari, Associate Professors of the Aero Space Science Engineering Department are treating this as a huge achievement, under which the U.V.V. has been prepared by research student Nidhidraj, Ramakrishna and Animesh Shastri. Now the full attention of the students is on preparations for the student pavilion (Air India show) held on 20-24 February at Yelahanka Air Force Station, Bangalore.IIT students have put a battery of 5000mA power in this UAV. From this, it can fly for one and a half hours in the fixed Arena based on computer programming. This UAV weighing two and a half kilograms is capable of lifting up to a kilogram. It can be used to deliver medicines and light materials to places where vehicles are difficult to reach.
