1.Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a section of Delhi Metro’s magenta line :-

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a section of Delhi Metro’s magenta line on Monday. On this occasion, he decided to untangle a plaque. Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Culture Minister Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Secretary of Urban Development Durga Shankar Mishra and Managing Director of Delhi Metro Mangu Singh were present. After the inauguration, Shri Modi and other dignitaries, riding on the Metro, traveled from Botanical Garden to Okhla Bird Vihar Station. This section of this line will connect the Kalkaji temple of Noida to Botanical Gardens of Delhi. 

 

2.Celebrated Christmas with religious zeal and glee in the world and across the country :-

The Christmas festival is celebrated today with religious zeal and glee in the world and across the country. The churches have been decorated attractively on the birthday of Jesus Christ. 
President Ramnath Kovind and Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu have greeted the people on Christmas and congratulated them. 
Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated people on the occasion of Christmas and greeted them. Mr. Narendra Modi said on Twitter that on this occasion we remember the ideal education of the Lord Jesus Christ.

 

3.Do not run anti-India campaign: Abdullah Yameen :-

Maldivian President Abdullah Yameen has urged the citizens of the country, especially the media, that they should not run anti-India campaigns. At an event, Mr. Yameen said that Maldives is working with India under the Free Trade Agreement. 
A statement issued from the Presidential Office said that India has extended wide support, cooperation and support to the Maldives at all levels, so no campaign against it will be accepted. It has also been said in the statement that the President has reprimanded the international media and the opposition who have created a mindset between the two countries.

 

4.Former Peruvian President Alberto Fujimori released from prison on humanitarian grounds :-

Former Peruvian President Alberto Fujimori has been released from prison on humanitarian grounds. Fujimori was spending 25 years in jail for corruption. Peru’s President Pedro Pablo Kuzinsky apologized to Albrecht Fujimori and seven others on humanitarian grounds. In a statement issued from Rashtrapati Bhavan, it has been said that Fujimori was suffering from blood pressure and heart disease, who were sent to the clinic from the jail on Saturday.

Fujimori was president of Peru from 1990 to 2000. He was serving the jail sentence since 2005.

 

5.First air-conditioned local train from Borivli station :-

On Monday, a new chapter was attached to the Mumbai Railway service when the first air-conditioned local train was dispatched from Borivli station at 10:30 in the morning. A large number of dignitaries, including BJP Sasand Gopal Shetty, State Education Minister Vinod Tawde, Mumbai BJP president Ashish Shelar, were present on this occasion. In the initial phase, this local will be run in Churchgate-Borivli section. After that, this local will be run from Churchgate to Virar from January 1, which can be used especially for travelers who move from more crowded places. 12 services of this local area will be operated every day except on Saturdays and Sundays and for the first six months, its fare will also be slightly higher than first class rentals i.e., minimum sixty rupees and maximum two hundred and five rupees. Due to this locals, travelers of Mumbai have got an option to travel comfortably and speedily.

 

6.Swearing-in ceremony in Gujarat on Tuesday :-

Bharatiya Janata Party is going to form government for the sixth consecutive year in Gujarat. The list of ministers will be released before the swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday.  Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel and party’s state president Jitubhai Waghani are finalizing the list of the Council of Ministers. According to sources, tribal leader Ganpat Vasava, Pradip Singh Jadeja, Babubhai Bukharia and Ballabh Kakadia from the previous ministers had won in the recently held elections. Even this time he is likely to get a ministerial post. After the defeat of former Assembly Speaker Ramanlal Bora in these elections, one of the senior party leaders could be appointed as the president. Apart from this, after the defeat of the six ministers of the previous government in assembly elections, some of the new elected MLAs can be included in some new faces.

 

7.Swearing-in ceremony will be held on Wednesday in Himachal :-

Now after the announcement of the name of Jairam Thakur for the post of Chief Minister in Himachal Pradesh, the claimants’ activities have increased for now to get a ministerial post. Based on the number of members in the assembly, 12 ministers can be made along with the Chief Minister. Widespread security arrangements have been made for the oath-taking ceremony to be held on Wednesday in Shimla’s historic Ridge Maidan. In the state government, Chief Secretary VC Parakhsha and Director General of Police Samesh Goyal met the newly appointed Chief Minister Jairam Thakur and discussed the swearing-in ceremony and security arrangements.

Rajasthan High Court has directed the Rajasthan government to deal strictly with striking doctors serving in the state. Chief Justice Pradeep Nand Rajong and D.C. The High Court of Chhattisgarh, headed by Somani, has allowed the state government to take the striking doctors under custody under the Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1970. This order came on the PIL of Dr. Abhinav Sharma, an advocate of the Rajasthan High Court.
