2.Integrated command-control centers to be set up in all smart cities

Under the Smart Cities Mission (SCM) , 100 cities of the country are being developed, out of which Integrated Command and Control Centers (ICCC) have already been established in 80 of them. Integrated command and control centers will be set up in the remaining cities by August 15, 2022 . The project aims to develop 100 self-sufficient, citizen friendly urban settlements. The objective of the Ministry of Home Affairs is to finalize the ICCC model as well as implement this scheme in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan.To be implemented as a pilot project in the states. Integrated Command and Control Centers are designed for real-time monitoring and were previously intended to monitor and control electricity and water, traffic, sanitation, city connectivity, integrated building management and internet infrastructure. However, ICCCs will now also be linked to the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) of the Ministry of Home Affairs. During the COVID-19 pandemic, these command centers also functioned as war rooms.

Rajasthan is the first state in the country to get L-Route server . With seamless internet connectivity, this server will assist the state government in providing its flagship digital services and implementing e-governance. This new facility will strengthen the state’s internet infrastructure and will also help in improving the resilience and security of all internet-based operations. This new server is located at Bhamashah State Data Center , Jaipur , Rajasthan by Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).established in collaboration with With this newly installed root server, for the domain name system, the state will no longer depend on a root server. Now if there is any problem in internet connectivity due to any natural calamity or technical glitch in whole of India or Asia, Rajasthan state will be able to access internet without any interruption. Also, this server will ensure that the state gets high-speed internet connectivity. The new route server will benefit the industry as well as the general public with better load management along with reduced round-trip latency time between servers and users. Presently, there are three J-Route servers deployed in Mumbai, New Delhi and Gorakhpur and two L-Route servers in Kolkata and Mumbai. The L-Route server installed in Rajasthan is the first to be deployed at the state level.

4.India’s first portable solar rooftop system unveiled in Gandhinagar

The first portable solar rooftop system in India has been inaugurated at the Swaminarayan Akshardham temple complex in Gandhinagar , Gujarat The 10 photovoltaic PV port systems have been manufactured by New Delhi-based Servotech Power Systems Ltd and the German development agency Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit – GIZ).Designed by. The systems have been set up under the initiative of the Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy to develop renewable energy cities across India. The PV ports are manufactured by New Delhi-based Servotech Power Systems Limited (SPSL), a leading manufacturer of high-end solar products such as LEDs, oxygen concentrators and EV charging equipment, under the Make in India project. PV port system is highly cost effective, requires low maintenance, has a long shelf life of 25-30 years, can be easily installed by a single person and is ideal for Indian climate.

5.Supreme Court reconstitutes expert committee for Delhi-Dehradun corridor project

13.MoU signed between Indian Navy and M/s L&T
