1.Rajnath Singh and Nitin Gadkari inaugurate model of anti satellite missile system:- Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari witnessed the demonstration of Fire Detection and Suppression System (FDSS) developed by DRDO (Defense Research and Development Organization) for passenger buses at DRDO Bhavan today. During this, he inaugurated the model of anti satellite missile system at DRDO headquarters, which is seen as a symbol of national progress.

2.COVID-19: Tata group launches ‘test kit’, will be available in hospitals by December:- Tata Medical and Diagnostics, the healthcare group of the Tata group in India, has launched the Kovid-19 test kit on Monday. In December this kit will be provided to all hospitals and labs. CEO Girish Krishnamurthy told Reuters on Monday. Through this kit approved by the government, the result of the test will come within 90 minutes. It was built at Tata’s plant in Chennai, South India. This plant has the capacity to manufacture 1 million test kits in a month. Krishnamurti gave this information in an interview. The company says that this test kit is capable of carrying out large-scale corona cases across the country. This test kit has -with the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research with the Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology.

3.National Legal Services Day: 09 November:- In India, 09 November is celebrated as “National Legal Services Day” every year by all Legal Services Authorities, to commemorate the enactment of the Legal Services Authorities Act 1987. The Day is celebrated to make people aware of the various provisions under the Legal Services Authorities Act and the right of the litigants. The aim of celebrating this day is to offer free of charge, proficient and legal services to the people belonging to weaker sections of society. It also seeks to make sure the availability of free services to weaker section people as well as making them conscious about their rights.

4. World Urbanism Day: 08 November:- World Urbanism Day, also known as “World Town Planning Day”, is celebrated on 8 November globally, to recognise and promote the role of planning in creating livable communities. WUD is organised by the International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP).The day was founded in 1949 by the late Professor Carlos Maria Della Paolera of the University of Buenos Aires, to advance public and professional interest in planning.World Urbanism Day provides an opportunity to look at planning from a global perspective, in order to draw attention to the environmental impact resulting from the development of cities and territories.

5. Prime Minister Modi inaugurates, lays foundation stone of projects worth Rs. 614 crores in Varanasi, urges citizens to be vocal for local in this festive season:- PM Modi on November 9, 2020, virtually launched and laid the foundation stone of various development projects in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi. The projects are worth Rs. 614 crores. UP CM Yogi Adityanath was also present on the occasion. During the event, the Prime Minister also interacted with the beneficiaries of these projects. According to the officials, around 1,500 people participated in the program through video conferencing. The state government had also done an arrangement of live display of the program at 6 places in Varanasi on big screens and via 5 LED mobile vans.

6. Russian Daniil Medvedev wins Paris Master 2020:- Russian, Daniil Medvedev has won Paris Master 2020 title in badminton, when he beat Alexander Zverev 5-7, 6-4, 6-1 in Paris. He became the fourth Russian to capture the Rolex Paris Masters title. The World No. 5 earned his first service break at 4-4 in the second set and charged to the title from that point by winning eight of the final nine games. Medvedev joins countrymen Marat Safin, Nikolay Davydenko and Karen Khachanov on the Paris honour roll.

7.Production Linked Incentive: Know What is PLI scheme; List of Sectors included under it & Other Details:- The Ministry of Electronics and Information and Technology (MeitY) notified the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme on April 1, 2020 for Large Scale Electronics Manufacturing with an aim to boost domestic manufacturing of mobile phones in India. With the launch of this PLI Scheme, the government looked forward to attract large investments in manufacturing mobile phones including the Assembly, Testing, Marking and Packaging (ATMP) units. As expected, the Scheme provided impetus to India’s electronics sector at the global level. The companies that were enrolled under the scheme were offered with a production linked incentive.
