1.रक्षा मंत्रालय ने सेना के लिए छह अपाचे हैलिकॉप्टर की खरीद को मंजूरी दी :-
रक्षा मंत्रालय ने लगभग 4,168 करोड़ रुपये की कीमत पर छह अपाचे हमले के हेलीकॉप्टर खरीदने की मंजूरी दे दी, जिसके बाद भारतीय सेना को जल्द ही अपना पहला हेलीकॉप्टर हेलीकॉप्टर प्राप्त होगा।
रक्षा मंत्री अरुण जेटली की अध्यक्षता में रक्षा अधिग्रहण परिषद (डीएसी) ने रूस से भारत के लिए दो एडमिरल ग्रिगोरोविच क्लास जहाजों तथा यूक्रेन से गैस टर्बाइन खरीदने के लिए एक और प्रस्ताव को भी मंजूरी दी। कुल मिलाकर, डीएसी ने 4,600 करोड़ रुपये के प्रस्तावों को मंजूरी दे दी।
छः अपाचे एएच -64 ई हेलिकॉप्टर संबंधित उपकरणों के साथ आएगा जिसमें स्पेयर, प्रशिक्षण, हथियार और गोला-बारूद शामिल होंगे।
वर्तमान में रूसी एमआई -25 और एमआई -35 हमले हेलीकाप्टरों का बेड़ा भारतीय वायु सेना, और भारतीय थलसेना द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से इस्तेमाल किया जाता है।
Defence Ministry Clears Proposal to Buy Six Apache Attack Helicopters for Indian Army :-
The Indian Army will soon get its first attack helicopters, after the Defence Ministry cleared purchase of six Apache attack choppers at a cost of around Rs 4,168 crore.
The Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) chaired by Defence Minister Arun Jaitely also cleared another proposal for buying gas turbines from Ukraine for two Admiral Grigorovich class ships being made in Russia for India. Overall, the DAC cleared proposals worth Rs 4,600 crore.
The six Apache AH-64E choppers will come with associated equipment which includes spares, training, weapons and ammunition.
At present the fleet of Russian Mi-25 and Mi-35 attack helicopters are with the Indian Air Force, and used by the Indian Army.
2.विवादित वेनेजुएला विधानसभा ने संसद की शक्तियां ली :-
वेनेजुएला की विवादित नई संविधान सभा ने विपक्षी नेतृत्व वाले संसद की शक्तियों को संभालने के पक्ष में भारी मतदान किया है।
इस कदम को संसद ने खारिज कर दिया है, जिसमें कहा गया है कि वेनेजुएला और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय समुदाय इन नई शक्तियों को स्वीकार नही करेंगे।
राष्ट्रपति निकोलस मदुरो ने कहा कि नई विधानसभा देश में घातक राजनीतिक अशांति का अंत करेगा। लेकिन बहुतों ने इसे तानाशाही आचरण करार दिया है।
अमेरिकी राज्य संगठन (ओएएस) के प्रमुख लुइस अल्माग्रो ने इस कदम को चुने हुए संसद का “अवैधानिक विघटन” कहा।
Disputed Venezuela Assembly Takes Parliament’s Powers :-
Venezuela’s controversial new constituent assembly has overwhelmingly voted in favour of assuming the powers of the opposition-led parliament.
The move has been rejected by parliament, which said Venezuelans and the international community would not recognise the new powers.
President Nicolas Maduro said the new assembly will end the deadly political unrest in the country. But many have called it a slide towards dictatorship.
The head of the Organization of American States (OAS) Luis Almagro called the move an “illegitimate dissolution” of the elected parliament.
3.नाविका सागर परिक्रमा :-
नाविका सागर परिक्रमा, एक अभियान है, जिसमें भारतीय नौसेना की महिला अधिकारियों की एक टीम भारत में निर्मित पाल नौका (सेल बोट) आईएनएसवी तारिणी पर सवार होकर विश्व परिक्रमा करेगी।
यह पहला अवसर है, जब सर्व-महिला चालक दल इस प्रकार की विश्व परिक्रमा करेगा। यह यात्रा सितंबर 2017 के आरंभ में होने का कार्यक्रम है।
आईएनएसवी तारिणी, आईएनएसवी महादेई की सहयोगी पोत है। यह परिक्रमा भारत सरकार की ‘नारी शक्ति’ पर बल देने की नीति को परिलक्षित करते हुए नौसेना में महासागर में नौकायन की गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण समझा जा रही है।
इस अभियान को दिया गया ‘नाविका सागर परिक्रमा’ नाम बिल्कुल उपयुक्त है, क्योंकि इसका लक्ष्य देश में महिला सशक्तिकरण तथा नौसेना में महासागर में नौकायन की गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा देना है। यह अभियान हमारे देश के युवाओं को समुद्र की समझ विकसित करने और रोमांच और सौहार्द की भावना पैदा करने के लिए प्रेरित करेगा।
Navika Sagar Parikrama :-
Navika Sagar Parikrama is a project wherein a team of women officers of the Indian Navy would circumnavigate the globe on an Indian-built sail boat INSV Tarini.
This is the first ever Indian circumnavigation of the globe by an all-women crew. The project is scheduled to commence in early Sep 17.
INSV Tarini is the sister vessel of INSV Mhadei. The project is considered essential towards promoting Ocean Sailing activities in the Navy while depicting Government of India’s thrust for ‘Nari Shakti’.
The expedition has been apply titled ‘Navika Sagar Parikrama’, aimed at promoting women empowerment in the country and ocean sailing by the Indian Navy. The expedition would inspire the youth of our nation to develop an understanding of the sea and instill a spirit of adventure and camaraderie.
4.अमेरिका और दक्षिण कोरिया 10-दिवसीय वार्षिक सैन्य अभ्यास शुरू करेंगे :-
पेंटागन के अनुसार, अमेरिका और दक्षिण कोरिया 10-दिवसीय वार्षिक सैन्य अभ्यास प्रारंभ करेंगे।
अमेरिकी रक्षा विभाग ने बताया कि उल्की फ्रीडम गार्डियन ड्रिल एक कंप्यूटर सिम्युलेटेड रक्षात्मक अभ्यास है,जो कोरियाई प्रायद्वीप पर तत्परता और स्थिरता बनाए रखने के लिए डिजाइन किया गया है।
दक्षिण कोरिया और अमेरिकी सेना के अलावा, सात राज्यों के संयुक्त राष्ट्र कमांड बल भी इस अभ्यास में भाग लेंगे।
जुलाई में उत्तर कोरिया के द्वारा दो अंतरमहाद्वीपी बैलिस्टिक मिसाइलों के सफलतापूर्वक परीक्षण और अगस्त में मध्यम दूरी के बैलिस्टिक मिसाइलों से गुआम को उड़ाने की धमकी देने के बाद से इन दो सहयोगियों के बीच उल्की फ्रीडम गार्डियन ड्रिल पहला संयुक्त सैन्य अभ्यास होगा।
US and South Korea to Begin 10-day Long Annual Military Exercise :-
The Pentagon says the US and South Korea will begin a 10-day-long annual military exercise.
US Department of Defence said the Ulchi Freedom Guardian drill is a computer simulated defensive exercise designed to enhance readiness and maintain stability on the Korean peninsula.
In addition to South Korea and US forces, UN Command forces from seven states will participate in the exercise.
The Ulchi Freedom Guardian drills will be the first joint military exercise between the allies since North Korea successfully flight-tested two intercontinental ballistic missiles in July and threatened to bracket Guam with intermediate range ballistic missile fire in August.
5.सदभावना दिवस: 20 अगस्त :-
राजीव गांधी की जन्मदिवस (20 अगस्त) को सद्भावना दिवस या सद्भाव दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है।
इस दिन राष्ट्रीय एकता, शांति, प्यार, स्नेह और सभी भारतीयों के बीच सांप्रदायिक सौहार्द को प्रोत्साहित किया जाता है। श्री राजीव गांधी का जन्म 20 अगस्त, 1944 को मुंबई में हुआ था।
श्री राजीव गांधी,40 वर्ष की उम्र में प्रधानमंत्री बनने वाले सबसे कम उम्र के व्यक्ति थे।
राजीव गांधी ने कहा था – “भारत एक पुराना देश है, लेकिन एक युवा राष्ट्र है, और हर जगह युवाओं की तरह हम अधीर हैं। मैं युवा हूं और मेरा भी एक सपना है। मैं एक मजबूत, स्वतंत्र, आत्मनिर्भर और मानव जाति की सेवा में दुनिया के राष्ट्रों में प्रथम स्थान पर रहने वाले भारत का सपना देखता हूं”।
Sadbhavana Diwas: 20 August :-
The Sadbhavana Diwas or Harmony Day is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary (August 20) of Rajiv Gandhi.
On this day national integration, peace, love, affection and communal harmony among all Indians is encouraged. Shri Rajiv Gandhi was born on August 20, 1944, in Bombay.
At 40, Mr. Rajiv Gandhi was the youngest Prime Minister of India.
Rajiv Gandhi said “India is an old country, but a young nation; and like the young everywhere, we are impatient. I am young and I too have a dream. I dream of an India, strong, independent, self-reliant and in the forefront of the front ranks of the nations of the world in the service of mankind.”
- ई–कॉमर्स हब में चीन ने पहला साइबर कोर्ट प्रारंभ किया :-
ऑनलाइन विवादों की बढ़ती हुयी संख्या को देखते हुए, चीन ने हांग्जो के ई-कॉमर्स हब में इंटरनेट से संबंधित सभी मामलों को संभालने के लिये अपना पहला साइबर कोर्ट प्रारंभ किया।
पूर्वी चीन के झेजियांग प्रांत की राजधानी, हांग्जो में स्थित यह हांग्जो इंटरनेट कोर्ट ऑनलाइन व्यापार विवादों और कॉपीराइट मुकदमों जैसे मामलों को संभालेगा। अदालत द्वारा संभाला जाने वाले मामलों को ऑनलाइन करने की कोशिश की जाएगी ।
हांग्जो की नगरपालिका विधायिका ने अध्यक्ष, उपाध्यक्ष और अदालत के न्यायाधीशोंको नियुक्त किया।
हांग्जो में ई-कॉमर्स में अग्रणी अलीबाबा सहित कई इंटरनेट कंपनियां है।
China Launches First Cyber Court in e-commerce Hub :-
China launched its first cyber court specialising in handling internet-related cases in the e-commerce hub of Hangzhou, amid a spike in the number of online disputes.
The Hangzhou Internet Court in Hangzhou, capital of east China’s Zhejiang Province will handle cases such as online trade disputes and copyright lawsuits. The cases handled by the court will be tried online.
The Hangzhou municipal legislature appointed the president, vice presidents and judges of the court.
Hangzhou is home to many Internet companies, including e-commerce giant Alibaba.
7.भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने 50 रुपये की नया नोट जारी किया :-
केंद्रीय बैंक ने एक विज्ञप्ति में कहा है कि भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (आरबीआई) महात्मा गांधी (नई) सीरीज़ में जल्द ही 50 रुपये के नए नोट जारी करेगा, जिसमें भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक के गवर्नर उर्जित आर पटेल के हस्ताक्षर होंगे।
नए नोट का आधार रंग फ्लोरोसेंट नीला है। इस देश में सांस्कृतिक विरासत का चित्रण करते हुए, नोट के दूसरी तरफ रथ के साथ हम्पी की एक आकृति है।
इस नोट में ज्यामितीय पैटर्न समग्र रूप से दोनों ओर अग्रभाग और पार्श्वभाग पर रंग योजना के साथ संरेखित हैं ।
हालांकि, आरबीआई ने स्पष्ट किया कि पिछली श्रृंखला के सभी 50 रुपया के बैंक नोट एक कानूनी निविदा के रूप में जारी रहेंगे।
RBI Introduces New Rs 50 Note :-
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will soon release Rs 50 denomination banknotes in the Mahatma Gandhi (New) Series, having signature of Governor Urjit R. Patel, the central bank said in a release.
The base colour of the new note is fluorescent blue. It has a motif of Hampi with Chariot on the reverse, depicting the country’s cultural heritage.
The note has geometric patterns aligning with the overall colour scheme, both at the obverse and reverse.
However, RBI clarified that all the Rs 50 banknotes in the earlier series will continue to be a legal tender.
