3 Rajasthan Budget: Finance Minister Diya Kumari gave a gift to the people of the state in the budget
Rajasthan Finance Minister Diya Kumari on Wednesday presented the budget for the financial year 2025-26 in the state assembly . During the budget, the Finance Minister has made many big announcements for farmers and youth, including free electricity, distribution of new leases to 2 lakh families under the ownership scheme . The state finance minister has also given the gift of jobs to the youth. He has announced recruitment on 1 lakh 25 thousand posts . He said that MoUs worth more than Rs 35 lakh crore have been signed in Rising Rajasthan. He said that 750 doctors and 1500 paramedical staff posts will be created. Fit Rajasthan campaign will be started at a cost of Rs 50 crore. 20 trauma centers will be upgraded. Works of 5700 MW energy production will be done in the coming year.
4 Gujarat launches G-SAFAL to empower 50,000 underprivileged women
In February 2025, the Gujarat government led by Chief Minister (CM) Bhupendra Rajnikant Patel launched G-SAFAL (Gujarat Scheme for Livelihood Enhancement for Antyodaya Families) , which aims to enhance the livelihoods of Antyodaya families (disadvantaged families) , empower women, and promote economic self-reliance . The initiative will empower 50,000 families holding Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) cards in 25 talukas of 10 districts of Gujarat over the next 5 years . It is being implemented by Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Company Limited (GLPC) under the Rural Development Department of Gujarat. It is in line with the Aspiring Block Programme (ABP) launched by the Government of India in January 2023, which aims to improve the quality of life in 500 aspiring blocks across 27 states and 4 union territories.

The Puducherry government has announced that organ donors will be rewarded for their life-saving contribution . Guidelines have been framed to implement the initiative. The government has directed hospitals to immediately report cases of brain-dead persons to district magistrates and regional administrators. As per the new guidelines, district magistrates and regional administrators will have to visit the homes of organ donors to pay tribute. Additionally, on occasions like Republic Day and Independence Day, the Lieutenant Governor or the Chief Minister will invite the families of organ donors to government functions and honour them publicly.
