1.Cabinet clears joint stamp between India and Russia  :-

The Government of India has constituted a group of eminent persons to study the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) policy.

The SEZ policy is effective from April 1, 2000. Subsequently, in May 2005, the Parliament passed the Special Economic Zone Act, 2005 and it got President’s approval on June 23, 2005. The SEZ Act 2005 has been implemented from 10th February, 2006.

This group will study the SEZ policy, will give suggestions based on the needs of the exporters in the current economic scenario, will make the SEZ policy favorable to WTO, suggest reform of SEZ policy, will make comparative analysis of SEZ schemes and SEZ policy for other similar schemes. Suggestions for making consistent consistency.

 

4.Reserve Bank of India will announce second bi-monthly monetary policy of 2018-19 :-

The Reserve Bank of India will announce its second bi-monthly monetary policy on Wednesday for the current financial year. The Monetary Policy Committee, headed by Reserve Bank Governor Urjit Patel, started the meeting in Mumbai on Monday.

5.Supreme Court approves reservation for promotion of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes employees :-

Giving great relief to the Center, the Supreme Court has given permission to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe employees to give reservation in promotion as per the law. The court gave this order on Tuesday, keeping in view the Center’s plea on this subject. The Center had said in its petition that due to the orders of the various High Courts and the order of the Supreme Court of 2015 to maintain status quo in such cases, the entire promotion process has been stalled.

 

6.Virat Kohli achieved the ‘Virat’ achievement, the only Indian in the highest earning players :-

Kohli made the list of the world’s 100 highest-paid players released by Forbes. Kohli is the only Indian player to make the list. Former boxing champion Floyd Mayweather is on number one in this list.

7.The first artificial insemination center of Desi Govan will be made in Rishikesh :-

Rishikesh, is going to be the first center of the country in Shyampur, Uttarakhand, in which only female goose-borne injections will be prepared in indigenous cattle. The project of Uttarakhand Livestock Development Board has been approved by the Government of India. Center will be built at a cost of Rs 47 crores, which will be operated in collaboration with the American company.

 

8.P. Bengal becomes the state of the best quality milk producer, got many awards :-

Leaving Gujarat behind, West Bengal has become the state of producing the best quality milk. A few years ago, milk co-operatives were introduced with the intention of empowering women. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee named it Sundini Naturals. Now the demand for its products has increased significantly.

For this contribution the Central Government’s National Dairy Development Board has selected Sundini as the ideal model. Due to the achievements of Sunderini Naturalis, Sunderban Cooperative Milk and Livestock Producers Union of Bengal State Animal Husbandry Department Has been selected as the best cooperative for milk production.

Central Panchayati Raj and Agriculture Minister Purushottam Rupala gave an Excellence Award at Anand in Gujarat on World Milk Day celebrated on Sunderini on June 1.

 

9.Ecuador’s Foreign Minister elected the next president of the UN General Assembly :-

Ecuador’s Foreign Minister Maria Fernanda Espinosa has been elected as the next president of the United Nations General Assembly. She will be the fourth woman to lead the 193-member global organization in the 73-year history.

Maria is elected to the post by defeating the second female rival of the United Nations, Honduras envoy Mary Elizabeth Flores Flac. Maria got 128 votes and Flak received 62 votes. Miroslav Lajakak of Slovakia’s current president announced the results.
