    1.Suresh Prabhu launches mobile app ‘Reunite’  :-

    Union Minister of Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation Shri Suresh Prabhu launched a mobile app. The name of this app is  ‘ Reunite ‘  . This app will assist in detecting lost children in India. In his address on this occasion, the Minister  appreciated the NGO ‘ Childhood Bachao Andolan ‘  and  ‘ Cap Geemini ‘ to develop this app  .

    The Minister said that this effort to match the lost children to their parents shows the beautiful use of technology. This app will help you deal with life’s social challenges.

    Through this app, parents can upload children’s pictures, details of children such as name, address, birth sign etc., can report to the police station and identify lost children. To identify lost children, services such as americanization, web based facial regeneration are being used. This app is available on both Android and iOS platforms.

     

    2.The President addressed the Convocation of IIT :-

    President Ramnath Kovind is in Kanpur on a two-day tour of Uttar Pradesh. Through the President helicopter, IIT reached Kanpur and took part in the 51st Convocation ceremony as Chief Guest. During his stay, he addressed the convocation of Indian Institute of Technology-Kanpur, Kanpur. The President also called upon IIT students for the development of the country and said that when students become eligible after a few years, they will definitely contribute in the betterment of the country.

     

    3.The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) put Pakistan in the gray list :-

    The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has officially placed Pakistan in its gray list. 37-national FATF announced late Wednesday night after holding its full meeting in Paris. Despite Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts to stop the decision, the Financial Monitoring said in its meeting that Pakistan has failed to stop terrorist financing on its soil.

    Earlier, the Pakistani delegation had informed Islamabad about steps to take steps for money laundering and terror financing. Pakistan’s Finance Minister Dr. Shamshad Akhtar urged FATF to remove Islamabad from its gray-colored list.

     

    4.Trump, Putin meeting in Helsinki on 16th July :-

    Between US President Donald Trump and Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, the European Union will hold a summit in Helsinki, the capital of Finland on July 16.

    Kremlin and White House confirmed the date and date of this meeting already approved on Thursday. The two countries jointly announced the time and place of the meeting. The two countries had also made an agreement on Wednesday to hold the summit.

    “Both leaders will discuss various issues related to relations between the US and Russia and national security issues,” the White House said in a statement. Mr Trump had earlier held the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) held in Brussels on July 11 and 12, After the Summit, Finland had expressed the possibility of meeting Putin in Helsinki.

     

    5.GST Day will be celebrated on July one :-

    GST Day will be celebrated on July 1 on the occasion of one year of complete implementation of the Historical Reform Goods and Services Tax (GST) in the field of indirect taxes.

    On this day, a program will be organized which will be addressed by Union Minister Arun Jaitley through video conferencing while Finance Minister Piyush Goyal will be the chief guest of the program. Minister of State for Finance Shiv Pratap Shukla will also be present in the program.

     

    6.Facebook: Election Commission to remove promotional material 48 hours before voting :-

     

    Election Commission has asked social networking site Facebook to remove political advertisement 48 hours before voting in the country. Although Facebook has not responded yet, he is still thinking about it.

    It is to be noted that efforts are being made to prevent misuse of social media in the world after Facebook’s name appears in the case of Cambridge Anilika and it is affecting elections in the United States.

    In this regard, the Indian Election Commission constituted a committee. Section-126 of the Representation of the People Act-1951 was considered in the June 4 meeting of the Committee. In the meeting, the Facebook representative agreed that he would consider providing a window or button on his page, which would be able to complain about the violation of election laws.

     

    7.India and Belgium draws from one-one in the Champions Trophy hockey tournament in the Netherlands :-

    In the Champions Trophy hockey tournament in the Netherlands, India and Belgium are drawn 1-1. India will play with hosts Netherlands in their last round robin match on Saturday.

    8.Vedumbhari’s insistence, instead of Shekhawat, Madan Lal made Rajasthan BJP President :-

    9.Uttarshan’s Devanshi won two medals including gold in international shooting :-

    Uttaranchand’s Devanshi Rana has increased the honor of the state with the country by winning two medals in international shooting. He won gold medal in the Bronze and Mix Doubles with Saurabh Chaudhary at the 10 meter air pistol team event of ISSF Junior World Cup Shooting in Germany.

    Devanshi Rana of Uttarakhand is participating in the ISSF Junior World Cup Shooting held in Germany from June 21 to 29, from the Indian women’s junior team. Devashi has teamed up with Manu Bhaskar and Mahima Agrawal at the team event, won a bronze medal in 10 meter air pistol.

     

    10.The memorial of memories of Prime Minister Modi will be built in Chandigarh :-

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi spent many years in Chandigarh while being the Union Minister of the Union. In order to refresh the memories related to Modi, soon there is preparation of ‘Our Modi Jed’ museum in Chandigarh. The Bharatiya Janata Party will prepare a museum in the Chandigarh office. This museum will be prepared under the renovation of State Office Kamal, located in Sector-33.

    11.India won the first T20 series in Ireland in the captaincy of Virat :-

    The second and last match of the two Twenty20 matches was played in Dublin between India and Ireland. In this match, Ireland captain Gary Wilson won the toss and invited the batting first to bat. Batting first, the Indian team scored a big score of 213 for 4 wickets in 20 overs. Ireland were to score 214 runs to win this match but the entire team was all out in 70 runs in 12.3 overs and India won the match by 143 runs.

     

    1. Oxytocin restriction will take effect from July 1 :-

    Ministry  of  Health and Family Welfare has  banned the public sector from making the use of oxytocin formulations for domestic use since 1 July 2018 . It has also banned the import of oxytocin and its formulations. Oxytocin is a naturally occurring hormone that causes uterine contractions during labor and helps new mothers in lactate.

    The misuse of oxytocin is widespread in dairy industry, where animals are given injection from oxytocin to remove milk at convenient time. Hormones are also used to increase the size of vegetables and fruits such as pumpkin, watermelon, eggplant, ghee and cucumber.

     

    13.Economist Lawrence Haddad, Dr. David Nabro awarded the World Food Prize :-

    British economist and food policy researcher  Lawrence Haddad, and Dr. David Nabro,  who has worked on health and hunger issues with the World Health Organization and the United Nations , received  2018 World Food Prize recipients at a ceremony in  the US Department of Agriculture in  Washington.  Was nominated for

    World Food Prize  was given to two people this year, who dedicated their careers to improving the availability of nutritious food for pregnant women and children in an effort to reduce the effects of malnutrition in developing countries.
