1. Brunel Medal for Mangdechhu Hydroelectric Project in Bhutan

The Mangdechhu hydroelectric project is located on the Mangdechhu river in Trongsa Dzongkhag district of Bhutan. The construction of the project has cost about Rs.4,500 crore. The project is funded by India through 70 per cent loan and 30 per cent grant. The 720 MW Mangdechhu Hydroelectric Project was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Bhutan on August 17, 2019.

5. Shri Rameshwar Teli launches third ONGC handicrafts project ‘Ujjwal Abahan’ under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav
- The Minister of State (MoS) for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Labor & Employment, Shri Rameshwar Teli, launched the ONGC supported Assam Handloom Project ‘ Ujjwal Abahan ‘ on 6 August 2021 through video conference . Under this project, more than hundred artisans of Bhatiapar in Sivasagar district of Assam will be given assistance and training in handloom handicrafts. The project is being run under the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” celebrations of the government, under which ONGC has earlier undertaken two projects supporting indigenous handicrafts of the country.

14. Thousands take part in Kadkidaka Vavu Bali, a sacrifice ceremony held in memory of ancestors in Kerala
