3.Central government banned the export of sugar
The central government has banned the export of sugar with effect from June 1, 2022, during the sugar season 2021-22 (October-September) to increase the availability of sugar in the country and curb price rise . The demand for sugar usually increases during the festive season of October-November and hence the government is committed to ensure its adequate availability. According to this notification issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), the export of sugar (raw, refined and white sugar) has been kept in the restricted category with effect from June 1, 2022. However, these restrictions do not apply to sugar exported to the European Union (EU) and the US under the CXL and Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ).

6.IPPB offers charges for AePS
India Post Payment Bank has decided to levy transaction charges on Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AePS) . Giving information on this matter, the Post Office has issued a notification informing that customers will be charged extra for doing AePS transactions after June 15, 2022. This extra fee will have to be paid after a certain transaction limit. If you do up to three AePS transactions in a month, then you will not have to pay any charges. On the other hand, for depositing and withdrawing cash for more than three transactions, you will have to pay a fee of Rs 20. This charge will be taken as charge of GST. On the other hand, on getting the mini statement, you will have to pay an additional fee of Rs 5 as GST.
