3.13 more digital health services included under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission

4.Supreme Court stays 152-year-old sedition law till the government reconsiders

The Supreme Court ordered that the 152-year-old sedition law under Section 124-A of the Indian Penal Code should be effectively kept in abeyance until the central government reconsiders the provision. The apex court, in an interim order, has urged the central and state governments not to register any FIR till the provision is reconsidered. A bench of Chief Justice NV Ramana, Justice Surya Kant and Justice Hima Kohli said that all pending appeals and proceedings in respect of the allegations made under Section 124A be adjourned for the time being. The Court held that the judgment in respect of other sections can proceed without prejudice. The court also said that those who are already in jail under Section 124A of the Indian Penal Code, They can approach the respective courts for bail. It has also been ordered that the petitioners are free to approach the court for relief if a fresh case is registered. Simultaneously, the courts are requested to examine the relief sought keeping in view the order passed by the court. These instructions will remain in force till further orders.
