Vice President Venkaiah Naidu said that India , remains the center of global attraction and is in the center of the identified opportunities and rapidly growing economy. He said that this achievement should be attributed to the scientists of the country. Mr. Naidu was addressing the researchers and staff of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – National Institute of Marine Science in Goa today.

2.Chinook helicopter will join the fleet of the IAF, weighing heavily in elevated areas:-

The strength of the IAF is going to increase on Monday. Chinook CH-47I helicopter built by the American company Boeing is scheduled to be included in the Indian Air Force fleet on March 25 in Chandigarh. On this occasion, an induction ceremony is going to be organized by Air Force. CH-47 Chinook is an advanced multi-mission helicopter, which will provide heavy lift capacity of unmatched strategic importance to the IAF. It will come in handy for humanitarian assistance and fighting.

This helicopter will play an important role in transporting heavy-duty military equipment in high-altitude areas.In the Indian Air Force fleet, there have been helicopters carrying heavy weight of Russian origin. But for the first time Air Force will get US-made helicopters. Chinook is a multipurpose, vertical elevator platform helicopter used to carry soldiers, weapons, equipment and refuel.  It is also used in human and disaster relief operations. 

Explain that it has a fully integrated digital cockpit management system. Apart from this, there are Kaman Aviation Architecture cockpits and advanced cockpit management features. This helicopter has been operating in very different capacity in many different geographical conditions of the world. Chinook helicopter is playing an active role in the armies of many countries besides the US Army. This helicopter will be a special utility especially in the Indian territory.

3.Creating an app to help Divas to identify notes Reserve Bank:-

The Reserve Bank is developing a mobile app to help the Divas in identifying various notes. The Reserve Bank has informed this to the Bombay High Court on Friday. Senior Advocate Shyam Mehta, who has been keeping the Reserve Bank’s stand, told the bench of Chief Justice Naresh Patil and Justice NM Jamadar that the central bank had constituted a four-member committee last month to develop such software.The bench was hearing the petition of the National Association of the Blind. It has been said in the petition that it is very difficult to recognize by touching new notes and coins. It has been demanded in the petition that special notes should be given in new notes and coins. The Reserve Bank told the court that new notes of Rs 100 and more in the country are in circulation and among them there are already signs for the convenience of the people. The Reserve Bank believed that these signs go away with time. That’s why the work is being done to develop the app which will be available free of cost and will help the people.

4.Report of the formation of a 5-member panel under the leadership of Nandan Nilekani, in 3 months on digital payments and financial inclusion:-

Das, the governor of the Reserve Bank of India, told that the RBI has constituted a five-member panel to further improve digital payments through financial transactions and increase financial inclusion. The panel was led by Nandan Nilekani. He is the chairman of this panel. The panel has been asked to submit its report within the next three months.

FINTECH Conference in Delhi today: The Policy Commission will organize the FINTECH Conference in New Delhi on Monday, which will be inaugurated by the Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Das. The official announcement in this regard was made on Sunday by the Policy Commission. According to the Policy Commission, in addition to the senior officials of the government and the RBI, about 300 representatives of big financial institutions will participate in this conference.

The policy commission has informed, “Its purpose is to shape the priority of India in finitec, and to revise the future strategies and policy efforts, besides discussions on the steps of comprehensive financial inclusion.”
