1.Arunachal Pradesh approves ‘Kaiser-e-Hind’ as state butterfly
Recently Arunachal Pradesh has approved the big and bright colored butterfly ‘ Kaiser-e-Hind (Scientific name: Tinopalpus imperialis )’ as the state butterfly. ‘Kaiser-e-Hind’ literally means ‘Emperor of India’. It is one of the rare and swallowtail butterflies which is found in medium and high altitude places.
2.India and Sri Lanka revive ‘Parliament Friendship Association’
India and Sri Lanka had its ” Parliamentary Friendship Association ” ( Parliament Friendship Association ) to be regenerated to the Minister Chamal Rajapakse was elected as its president. 3.President approves two ordinances to extend the tenure of directors of Central Bureau of Investigation and Directorate of Enforcement by five years
President Ram Nath Kovind has promulgated two ordinances to extend the tenure of directors of Central Bureau of Investigation-CBI and Enforcement-Directorate-ED by five years . These ordinances are- Central Vigilance Commission Amendment Ordinance 2021 and Delhi Special Police Establishment Amendment Ordinance 2021. According to these ordinances, heads of top agencies can be given an extension of up to three years every year after completing the two-year term. The ordinances said, no further extension shall be granted after the completion of a total period of five years including the period mentioned in the initial appointment. The current tenure of the heads of central agencies is two years .
4.Punjabi language made compulsory in Punjab schools
Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi announced that Punjabi language is now compulsory for all students in the state of Punjab.subject will be Punjabi language will be made compulsory from class 1-10. Apart from this, it will also be made mandatory in offices. If any school violates the rules, it will be fined up to Rs 2 lakh for violating it. The announcement was made by the Chief Minister on November 11, 2021, a day after 15 bills were passed by the State Legislative Assembly. Two bills were related to the Punjabi language, namely the Punjab State Language Amendment Bill, 2021 and the Punjabi and Other Language Education (Amendment) Bill, 2021. The Punjabi and Other Languages Education (Amendment) Bill, 2021 will make Punjabi a compulsory subject in schools under the Bill. Violation will attract a fine of Rs 2 lakh. The Punjab State Language Amendment Bill, 2021 The Bill directs that all official business be conducted in Punjabi. 500 in case of contravention for the first, second and third contravention respectively,

The Central Government and the Asian Development Bank have signed a loan agreement of six million dollars . The agreement is for a loan to improve the quality of life and promote development and use of technology in Agartala , the capital of Tripura . The agreement was signed by Rajat Kumar Mishra, Additional Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs under the Ministry of Finance, and Takiyo Konishi, Director, Resident Mission in India of the Asian Development Bank. This project is in line with the vision of the Smart City Mission of the Central Government. 9.RBI lifts ban on Diners Club International Limited
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said on April 23, 2021 Credit card issuer Diners Club International Ltd. ( Diners Club International Ltd) has been removed with immediate effect for adding new customers. The RBI had prohibited Diners Club International Limited from adding new domestic customers to its card network with effect from May 1, 2021, due to non-compliance with RBI on storage of payment system data. The central bank had banned the US-based company from adding new domestic customers to its card network for violating data storage norms. Earlier, RBI banned – American Express, 7th largest credit card issuer in India (as on 23 April 2021), and Mastercard, 2nd largest credit card issuer in India (in July 2021) from enrolling new customers Is. RBI has not lifted its ban yet.

A total of 246 cities are participating in the Safai Mitra Suraksha Challenge (SSC) being organized across the country. Through this challenge, it aims to encourage cities to mechanize their sewer and septic tank cleaning tasks, to avoid ‘hazardous entry’.

The United Nations Climate Conference in Scotland concluded with a global consensus and resolution to limit the Earth’s temperature to one decimal five degrees Celsius and save the world from the devastating effects of climate change. At the conference, member countries had agreed to a deal to achieve global warming targets, but there was some disagreement over the use of coal and fossil fuels at the last minute. The president of the conference, Alok Sharma, indicated that about 200 national delegations present at the Glasgow Conference did not express any conclusive objection. The conference included countries from coal and gas rich to oil producers affected by sea surface rise and island countries of the Pacific region.

17.South Korea tests control of air taxis
On November 11, 2021 South Korea ‘s urban air mobility vehicles (Urban Air Mobility Vehicles – UAM) demonstrated a system to control. Urban Air Mobility Vehicles will operate as taxis between major airports and downtown Seoul. The project will work till 2025 and will cut travel time by two-thirds. According to the estimates of the Ministry of Transport, such services will reduce the travel time from one hour to 20 minutes for distances of 30-50 km by air. South Korea had announced a roadmap in 2020 to introduce commercial urban travel by 2025. UAM is expected to become a common mode of transportation that will be used by citizens in daily life.
18.Punjab Assembly passes resolution against agriculture laws
The Punjab Assembly on November 11, 2021 passed a resolution against the three agriculture laws of the Centre . This is the second resolution passed by the assembly against three agricultural laws . The first resolution was passed in October 2020. State Agriculture Minister Randeep Singh Nabha introduced this new proposal. three agricultural laws
1. Farmers Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020 : This Act was introduced with the objective of opening agricultural sales and marketing outside the notified Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) mandis for farmers. The Act removes barriers to inter-state trade and also provides a framework for electronic trading of agricultural produce. It seeks to break the monopoly of government-controlled mandis and allows farmers to sell directly to private buyers.
2. Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Agricultural Services Act, 2020: This Act creates a national framework for contract farming. It provides a legal framework for farmers to enter into written contracts with companies and produce for them.
3. The Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020: This Act removes pulses, cereals, edible oils, oilseeds, onions and potatoes from the list of essential commodities. It seeks to deregulate the production, movement, storage and distribution of these food items.

Balwant Moreshwar alias Shiv Shahir Babasaheb Purandare , the famous historian and one of the prominent scholars of the history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj , breathed his last in Pune. He was 99 years old. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari , Chief Minister Uddhav Thackerayand other dignitaries have expressed grief over his passing. Babasaheb Purandare was a renowned historian, writer and theater personality. His full name was Balwant Moreshwar Purandare. He was famous for his work on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He wrote several books on Shivaji Maharaj, his administration as well as the forts of Shivaji’s era. He also directed ‘Janata Raja’, a popular play on the life of Chhatrapati. His works are mostly related to Shivaji, as a result of which he was often called Shiva-Shahir . He was awarded the Padma Vibhushan , India’s second highest civilian award, in January 2019 . He was awarded the Maharashtra Bhushan in 2015.Award, which is the highest civilian award of Maharashtra. The Government of Madhya Pradesh honored him with the Kalidas Samman in 2007-08 for his works in the field of drama .
