Joint action was taken by CTTF of Indian Army and QRT of Maharashtra Police to neutralize terrorists. The neutralization process included the establishment of an inner circle, intervention exercises, search of the building by dog squads and diffusion of IEDs by the Bomb Disposal Unit.
